"Here u go with the ice cream", rati handed him the bowl and snuggled back in his arms, while he started eating the crunchy black current ice cream, and with his lady love in his arms, everything felt more sweet and tasty.

"rati", he whispered.

"hmm", she murmured, drawing almost the 1000^th circle with her finger, around his collar button.

"thank God you are back, I so missed you", taking a deep breath he pulled her close and rati looked up smiling, "I missed you two three four five till infinityyy", she opened her arms wide and giggling arjun pulled her in a tight hug, "you are a sweetheart", he sighed and she snuggled further in his strong arms.

Last month had been a tough time for their relation, rati's absence from the town for her new project shooting had really tested their love and patience, it was a long month for them, away from each other, but finally the wait was over.

"acha arjun", rati moved away gasping, "you read my blog, everybody is adopting the same style as on yours'", she sighed,

'ofcourse I saw rati", he pulled her back", I keep a close eye on your blog and I am thinking of launching a combine blog"

"not a bad idea, but still the time has not come", pouting she opened her eyes wide and arjun sighed, "whatever!, can I get another scoop of this ice cream?", he forwarded the bowl and rati 's mouth gaped, 'no you cannot!, why are u eating so much ice cream tonight?", she glared and arjun got up, "fine I'll get it myself", he moved towards the fridge and sighing rati switched on the television.

"you promised this is my time", he came back, taking the remote and switched off the Tv, "but arjun, just the headlines ..",

"I said No", he pulled her close and fed her a spoonful of icecream.

"mm, thank you, by the way I made everything at home and the only thing I didn't is the one you are eating constantly", she huffed and arjun giggled, "hahah, I'll be taking everything else with me, pack kar dena", he ate anther spoon.

'now what do you mean by that?", she frowned.

"I mean that pack kar dena, I'll make mom taste everything", he winked and rati felt double blood coming to her cheeks.

"aunty knows you are with me right now?", she bit her lip and masking a grim expression, he nodded, "ofcourse rati, I am a good boy, my mom knows wherever I go"

"stop it arjun!", she glared, 'I mean it's late and you know ..", she nervously fiddled her fingers and arjun was enjoying her nervousness, "umm, jao tum .. go home arjun ", she quickly got up from his side but arjun pulled her back in a second, "this is our time, I am not backing out", he outlined her jawline and rati glared, "please arjun it looks odd .. it's late and ..

"what?', arjun asked grimly and sensing the sensing in his tone she softened her demand, "I just said ..

"what do you fear rati?, I know its late, but today is a special day, and we are together because we love each other, and your family and my family knows what morals they have raised us with, can we please stop behaving like teenagers",

"okay fine, ", she rolled her eyes and hugged him, "itna ghusa kyun krte ho?, I was just saying randomly, you won't understand, it's just a girly apprehension, not that I don't trust you or something, but girls have this thing so you know just ..

"I don't want to know anything", he kissed her cheek and entwined their hands, "already the whole world is enough to create rumors and speculations, I certainly don't want you stepping in your girly shoes like this", he glared,

"okay boss", she smiled sweetly and closed her eyes cuddling to him, "by the way those speculations are so childish, I mean seriously arjun you think all that comedy show would effect our relation?", she looked up

"no it will not, but rati, a water drop everyday can even crack a stone, the tries are so damn constant, I mean ..

"arjun ..",she placed her fingers over his lips, "a stone cracks because it cannot resist to the cracking force, we will not just let the force win, we can retaliate", she kissed him softly and smiling he pulled her in a hug, "I love to hear you talk like this", he giggled and rati hugged him back , "and I hate to hear you talk this tensed, "she pouted

"oh come on rati, today I am in some tantrum throwing mood after all ..

"I know, it's your birthday!!", she replied rolling his eyes and arjun nodded, "exactly, so that is why I need another bowl of ice cream", he forwarded the bowl, smiling innocently and rati glanced at the clock, it was 11.55, last five minutes of his birthday.

'I have a better idea", she leaned close and took the bowl, "happy birthday arjun, I love you", she whispered and kissed him softly and arjun kissed back, silently agreeing this was much better, sweeter and tastier than the ice cream!.
