I am truly sorry for this delay.
Celebrating togetherness.
Lines that I liked, they had been messing up things and he could just glare and then scold & Nupur came upstairs and looked in both directions, at her room and her children's room. All three Sharma men are in a horrible mood!. I could just imagine those moments of silent tension. You have a remarkable ability to not only write well but create exceptional scenes, as a preamble to insightful and profound moments.
we are writing on study tables Really wonderful moment, didn't only affect Nupur's heart.
"we are sorry too!!"
They sprang apart alarmed, but breathed a sigh of relief that the door was closed and the kids were still outside. 😆😆😆 Really wonderful moment orchestrated by you. As I mentioned before, you write really well and create that perfect ambiance so that you can effectively contrast with comedy, as here. That ending is what I have come to expect from your stories, perfectly sublime. Thank you for sharing, and so being so gifted. 😳 God bless you.
Bliss
Somewhere that sadu streak in him was budging him to taunt his wife on her yet another day dreaming session, Wonderful line, left me smiling. I love how you weave in intricate notes to your plot, so it isn't just he said, she said, he did she did BUT detailing as to the why, how and wherefore in the most eloquent and subtle way. Very fine writing.
An Ordinary winter's night
I loved, just loved that opening setting. That manner you describe something so personal and fierce, an argument in a cool and calm manner. That weird aftermath of a heated discussion left unresolved, so that even excessive silence still can not make peace.
"after a fight there are supposed to be patch-ups rather than study sessions",😆😆😆Excellent.
And I LOVE MY WIFE AND CAN'T SEE HER SICK" Wonderful. Mayank always knew how to stop Nupur's racing thoughts and endless arguments and send her heart spinning and turning instead. God bless him.
Then that whole fee business. Truly I am in awe of how you conjure such effective plots that illuminate their love so intricately and beautifully. A delight to read.
Compensations
As always, a very cute set up. So natural and yet very magical too.
You don't know but those words bol na? Have haunted me this week, in those spaces between breaths where I live out a lifetime of regret. Regardless, though you didn't mean to, that line at the end struck me and sent me to the briefest of sweet fullstops between the duties of my life, which is how I would sum up this beautifully written chapter.
With much love, your sister, Sabah
