I truly love your writing. This piece like most of your others was exquisite in its depth, contained heart stopping/pumping action and lingers on in good faith.⭐️⭐️⭐️

I loved the opening line that pulls you emotionally into 'quiet scene' that slowly but surely spins out of control and leaves you and the protagonist suffering from a terrible case of vertigo, if not for life. There are incidents in life, that move with you, no matter where you go and how far you travel, they never leave you. For me life has a circling effect, for in truth death is not the end, we are only rushing towards a reunion with our past so that in truth we are not distancing ourselves from our past but only getting nearer to it.

You expertly build up that false sense of security so that the protagonist and reader alike really are not prepared for what is coming next. You wonderfully talk about things she loves, surrounded by volumes filled with 'words' or quotes of encouragement, hope and inspiration, none so much as the beautiful gift of love. That is layered with thoughts of home, that place where the majority of us feel 'safe.' Then that description of snow, something so delicately beautiful and fragile. However you then brilliantly turn the tables by showing us that in just one moment these things, 'being alone' 'naive' 'lost in your own world' can become dangerous, working against us. Truly very well done! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ That one short paragraph that signals a new 'season' of events. Heightening the protagonist and reader's attention.She kept on reading when she sensed someone staring her.⭐️⭐️

You know I often used to scoff at old Hindi movies where if the 'hero' uttered a line, made a move or fooled around with the girl it was labeled 'flirting' but if the 'villain' did EXACTLY the same it would be regarded as 'sinister.' I always contended 'what was the difference?' I just did not understand then that the difference is subtle found only in substance. The difference is intention, not the action itself. As you expound wonderfully, the expression she read in his eyes shook her within.⭐️⭐️

You carry this theme further by creating the perfect 'nightmare' scenario that if had been done exactly the same by a good natured, well intentioned boy would not have been so scary. Like her first love note or flirtation, If something as fear exists in the world, then that was what she experienced at that moment. All covered in that horrid fear of ill intentions.⭐️

But her lips used to get sealed on her every attempt. So beautifully explained. It wasn't that temporary fear that remained. The one that you feel momentarily upon your skin, that rush of 'oh no' through your mind and trepidation upon your heart. This was that fear that resides in your heart. It takes root and will not leave until something bigger, better and bolder supplants it.

Truly a superb piece of work. You are an excellent writer. I am in awe! 👏
