i couldnt resist myself! but this idea was killing me!

ah i'll be ending my stress buster mini and msjkhh in like maybe one more part each - maybe 2 for mjjkhh depending on the size! im putting mkmja on temp hold until those are finished and will finish sba next as that one will go fast too! then i'll resume mkmja! so i'll have 2 and a half running! (i say half b/c it'd be mkmja, this one, and business pleasures - with aahana)

i literally saw this idea in a dream...hd the dream like 4 nights in a row soo...

alsooo this ff is based on a line by the SUPER AMAZING SHRU! (DMG8594) it's a line she used in her SUPER AMAZING FF - A Walk on the Beach!

Part 1:

"Muski chalo na!" Muskaan laughed as she put on her earring. "Riddhima i thought you said you weren't going to the fair today besides your darling boyfriend SID claims he is sick." Riddhima rolled her eyes at the comment about her boyfriend. "Muski please don't even talk about him! I should have listened to Nikki all when she said ki he isn't a nice guy. But no I just had to think ki she is just being mean to me again and can't be happy for me!" Muskaan sighed. "I'm so sorry ridzi. He is such a jerk! and what's that girls name? haan Tamanna. I feel bad for her too! she has no idea he two-timing you both! toh what are you going to do?"

Riddhima smiled and said, "oh you'll see." She checked the mirror to ensure she looked good.

"Array Ridz okay chalo!" The girls went downstairs and got into Riddhima's car.

Soon they were at the fair. Within no time Riddhima and Muskaan spotted Sid.

Here is what Ridz did: (do watch the video! i LOVE this song for some reason! only diff is that imagine ridz and sid and tamanna. also ridz is singing in front of sid and tamanna. Tamanna is really confused about what is going on until ridz whispers into her ear the truth. the whole time muski is just watching and dancing in the background all super excited)

Sid stood there watching riddhima and Muskaan walk away hand in hand laughing and smiling. Tamanna too had stormed off. He had really messed up big! He ran his hand through his hair thinking about what had just happened.

Riddhima was walking towards the line for a ride alone as Muskaan had gone to get them cotton candy when she spotted a girl sitting on an bench and crying.

Riddhima then realized she had seen this girl earlier walking around with a with long hair.

Riddhima went over and sat next to the girl. She looked like she was around 18 years old. Nearly 9 years younger then Riddhima.

"Hey, I'm Riddhima. Tumhari naam kya hai?" The girl slighty turned to ridz and answered while she continued crying. "S..Sanju"

Riddhima smiled as she was responding to her. "Toh Sanju, let me guess you are probably around 18 right? you go to college nearby?" Sanju looked at Riddhima like she was mental. Here she was crying and this lady was interrogating her about these meaningless things? "uh haan mumbai university" Riddhima smiled. "Wow! I went there too! but it would have been a couple years before you got there! I'm 27! hm toh batao why is a young pretty girl like yourself sitting here crying?"

"I'm not pretty. Not pretty at all. I just...I wish I could be more beautiful. I was so stupid to think that Lucky might actually like me. Par no I am just not beautiful. I wish I could be like other girls. Par I don't know how! You know I've always love him. Aur i thought ki ek na ek din he'll love me too. par i mean look at me! no wonder he doesn't like me. Sometimes I wish ki my mom was still alive, or I had an elder sister or a girl friend or someone who could show me the way. I mean I wish I could be pretty like you..."

Riddhima looked at her shocked! "Hey who says you aren't pretty? You are beautiful! When I was around your age, I had this HUGE crush on this guy. And then he had the nerve to come and call me ugly. He even said that he'd never date me as well I didnt fit into his criteria of beautiful." Sanju turned and looked at Riddhima. "Kya? but you are so beautiful! What did you do?" Riddhima smiled. "Well Everyone is beautiful. Its just that some people appreciate one thing while others appreciate something else! You know what i did? I confronted him in front of everyone! I said..."

Riddhima smiled, "hmm you look beautiful. But remember you looked beautiful before too! Beauty isn't skin deep. Beauty is on the inside! And even skin deep beauty is only circumstantial. What one person considers beautiful is different from what another person considers beautiful. I helped you dress differently because it seemed like that is what you wanted. But remember true love loves you for whats on the inside not out. hm?" Sanju smiles, "Haan. I'll keep that in mind! OMG di! look! That's lucky!" Riddhima looked in his direction. "Hm the guy that is totally checking you out?" Sanju nods.

Then Lucky starts walking towards her. He looks at Sanju, then says, "Hey beautiful. What's your name..oh my gosh SANJU?" Sanju just smiles. "Sanju you look amazing! wow! i mean i noticed you from over there and I couldn't keep myself away. WOW! um you want to go out..." Before Lucky could finish, Sanju interupted. "Dekho Lucky, I know what you want to ask. But NO. I will NEVER go out with you. Beauty is not just skin deep. And you never even paid any heed to me when I didn't fall into your category of beautiful. Now I look different and suddenly you're interested? Well you know what? I'm not interested in you! YOUR beauty is only skin-deep." Just then another guy came up behind Sanju.

"Hey Lucky, have you seen Sanju? I'm really worried! She promised to meet me by the ferris wheel 30 minutes ago. I can't find her anywhere! You think she found i was going to ask her out and ditched? or omg i hope she is okay! what if something happened to her?"

Riddhima smiled seeing all this attention for her new friend. Lucky just stood their still shocked from Sanju's rejection.

Sanju turned slowly and was suprised to see Prem. Prem did a double take upon seeing her. "OMG SANJU? you look wow. i mean you look beautiful, as usual, but wow you look so different! I didn't even recognize you!" Sanju smiled and said thanks. "Um Sanju, woh i meant to take you on the ferris wheel and then ask, par i guess you just heard me..um will you be my date to the dance?" Sanju smiled and said yes. Prem was so happy he hugged her then realizing what he did he quiuckly let go. "hehe sorry...woh i couldnt contain my excitement. Um you want to go on a ride?" Punam nodded then turned to Riddhima. "Thanks so much Di. You taught me a lot today. I'll always pray to god for you. "

On the other hand, a man was at the fair with his young 2 year old daughter.

"Riya chalo tum merry go round pe jaoge?"

in response the little girl clapped her hands and said in her broken talk, "haan ri merry ound pa saath!" The man laughed and said, "Ri baby merry ound nahin merry go round." Riya frowned and said, "wohi kahaan...merry ound..." the man laughed again, and said "acha sorry baba. theek hai mera princess chalo. " He pushed her to the merry go round in her stroller then took her out. Then Riya's attention fell on a girl singing and dancing.

"Pa Pa! Ri sing dance tooo" His eyes followed the direction Riya was pointing. He saw a beautiful angel singing and dancing joyfully trying to cheer another girl up. He smiled seeing her cheer the obviously younger girl. he then hears a different voice singing.

"na na na who say you no buful? who say nanana"

The man laughs seeing his little princess dancing and trying to sing the song.She seemed to be dancing in the direction of the girl. He quickly caught her and pulled her back.

"hmm mera princess chalo! lets ride the merry go round one more time phir we have to go home. You know na ki papa ka bohot iimportant kaam hai aur riya ko bhi neend ajayegi" Riya was visibly upset. "papa no merry ound. riya wwahaan sing dance too!" Armaan looked over at them. "hm par woh larki toh ruk gayi. See she isnt singing anymore?"

Riya looked over again, she still wanted to go over to the lady, but her papa wasnt letting her go.. "papa peasshh ri uski paash peashhh" She pleaded to her papa to let her go to the pretty aunty.

He looked at his daughters face and then back at the direction of the girl, but she was gone. "oh sorry baby, lekin woh toh chali gayi!" Riya looked over upset, she then looked back at her papa and said with tears in her eyes, "papa ghanda!" He tried manofying his daughter, but she was visibly upset. They still went on the merry go round and then headed home.

Part 2

Back to Riddhima, Riddhima had met up with muskaan again, but then her phone rang. It was her sister Anjali.

"Hey di kya hua?"

Anj- Hey Ridz, you know na ki atul is in Delhi for that conference, and now Dr. Keerti wants me to go to Goa immediately for an important surgery. I'm so confused! I can't take Amrita with me! Can you please watch her? Just for a week!

Rid- yea sure Di! don't worry about it at all! I will take good care of her. Bring her and her things over to my place, i'll meet you there okay? I'm on my way home right now.

Next Morning:

Riddhima was with Amrita at her play group. Amrita had just turned 3 years old. Riddhima was sitting and playing with Amrita and other children, when an elderly lady came in with a small girl.

"Chalo Riya, Don't be shy." The elderly lady led the cute girl inside. "dadi ri cared...ri papa paash" The elderly lady bent over and said, "riya beti darna mat. aur tum jante ho na papa ko ek bohot zaruri kaam ke wajase bahar jaana para. papa kuch dino mein wapaas aajenge."

Riya pouted then nodded. The elderly lady brought her in and then Riddhima went over to them with Amrita. "Namaste aunty. yeh apki grand-daughter hain? Hi baachi. Mera naam Riddhima hain, aur yeh hain Amrita. Tum humari dost banogi?" Riya nodded excitedly. "Haan. mela naam Rila. aul yeh ri dadi" Her dadi then spoke, "namaste beti. Haan actually this is Riya's first time coming to the play group. Actually her papa is really protecive, and he has just gone out for an emergency surgery = he's a doctor na, toh we ddecided to take advanage and try and see how this works out. Waise tumhari beti bohat pyaari hain." Before Riddhima could reply, amrita did. "fank you. par mausi meli mummy nahin hain. mummy goa hain. aul yeh meli mausi." Riddhima nodded. "haan bilkul sahin kahan amrita ne. actually meri behen bhi ek surgery ke liye bahar jaana para, aur uski husband bhi ek conference ke liye already bahar the. So Amrita gets to spend some time with me."

Riyaa then realizes something and starts jumping up and down clapping her hands. Dadi looks at her confused. "kya hua riya?" riya then starts dancing and smiling and starts singing in her baby language, "who say who say you no buful who say nananana who say"

Her dadi looks at her confused, then riddhima smiles. "Hmm toh tum kal raat fair pe thi hm?" Riya nods eagerly then says, "ri wanted sing dansh too par papa say no...phir rima go byebye aur ri sad sad." Riddhima smiles at her cute antics. "oh i'm sorry sweetheart. I didn't know ki you wanted to sing and dance too." Riddhima quickly informs Riya's dadi of what had happened. then asks riya if she wants to sing and dance now? Riya eagerly agrees, and Riddhima starts singing a few bars of the same song to please her.

Riddhima begins playing with Amrita and Riya while speaking with Riya;s Dadi. She exlained how she too was a doctor, but she specialized in children as she had an intense love for children. Dadi then got a phone call saying there was some issue at home that needed immediate attention. Riya was adament she did not want to leave yet. "Dadi peasshh Ri no go. ri stay rima paash" *note the way she says rima sounds like ri ma - as in baby talk for ri's ma*

Dadi sighed. "Riya beti Riddhima ko takleef hoga. Chalo we'll come back tomorrow na?" Riddhima then interrupted. "Actually Aunty, if you dont mind I'd love to watch her for you? I can drop her off after the play group finishes? She is so sweet even I'd love to spend more time with her. And i'm sure amrita would love it too."

Dadi agreed and then left.

The next week passed in the same fashion. Only Dadi would simply come and leave Riya with Riddhima. Riddhima would often bring chocolates, or balloons for riya. Riya was becoming very close to her. After the play group the three would often spend the day together, at the park, or such. Soon Anjali returned and took over taking Amrita to play group. When Riya realized riddhima was not there she created a big fuss and went home crying. Upon reaching home, she discovered her papa was back. He immediately ran to her engulfing her in a hug and kissing her cheeks. He had missed her so much. But she was still crying. "Papa, ri rima paash! peashhh rima paash!"

Armaan was stunned. "baby, tumhe pata haina ki ri ki ma humare paas nahin hain." with this riya began hitting her beloved papa. She then left him and began toddling towards her Dadi. "dadi rima paash peashh" Dadi picked her up and began cuddling her. "lekin uski ki kaam hogi na beti?"

Armaan stood their stunned. "Ma ap yeh? what are you telling her? you know na ki Nicole is dead?"

Anaya (Armaan's mom) looked at Armaan and sighed. "Armaan. you remember i told you i took riya to a play group? well there is another little girl who goes there - Amrita. Amrita's parents were both out of town, so her mausi Riddhima would take her. Well Riya got really close to Riddhima over this week. Today Amrita came with her mom, not mausi. So riya got really upset. Riddhima used to spend all day with Riya. She had taken the week off from work to take care of Amrita, so she used to spend time with both of them. Riya can't pronounce riddhima, so she calls her Rima."

Armaan then understood what had happened. "oh i'm sorry my angel. hm lekin how about aj riya spends the day with me hm?" Riya was still crying. "nahin..ri rima paash peasshhh" Dadi then says, theek hain i'll call her and you can talk to her on the phone okay?

but just then Anaya's phone rings, "lo dekho usi ka phone hain"

an: hello riddhima beti? i was just about to call you

rid: really aunty? hmm well looks like i beat you hmm? waise Riya theek hai? I was really missing her.

an: hmm aside from crying nonstop since playgroup and creating a tantrum, she's fine

rid: kya she's crying? kyun? did something happen? is she okay? is she hurt?

anaya smiles

an: nahin riddhima relax breath! she's not hurt. she went to playgroup and realized her beloved Rima wasn't there. She created a fuss and we left early. Phir she's been crying for you since. i dont know what you've done to her but I can tell you she's totally fida over you!

rid: hmm i haven't done anything to her, it's her who has done something to me! i find myself always thinking about her! You know i was at the mall with my friend Muskaan today shopping for my cousin Nikki's engagement. Remember I told you about her? So after we bought our outfits my eyes fell on this beautiful lehenga. It was soo cute! it matches my sari perfectly and The store had only one left and it was Riya's size. When i saw it toh the first thing i thought was I have to get it for riya. phir i just bought it! then muskaan asked ki if it was for Amrita. toh when i said no its for riya, i realized how attached i've become to her. aunty do you mind if i gift that lehenga to riya? i mean will her mom mind?

an: of course we don't mind beta, lekin um riya ki ma um she is no more, she passed away 2 years ago. but i'm sure her papa wont mind at all.

ri: oh my gosh im so sorry! i never realized! i mean i wondered why she never spoke of her mom, and only of her dad and super chachu, but it seemed rude to ask. um aunty do you mind if i come over with it now? that way i can surprise riya too. My day feels so incomplete without seeing and spending time with riya.

an: sure beta, that sounds great! she is the same way!

ri: okay toh mein rakhti hoon. i'm only 2 minutes away from your house. aur haan dont tell riya!

an: i won't! byee

Anaya then hung up and riya once again began crying because she didnt get to speak to riddhima. Anaya hugged her and then said, "hmm sorry par she is busy beta. par haan she said she'll talk to you soon. and hmm maybe you should practice that song and dance for her hmm?"

Riya then began clapping her hands. and said okayy

she then started singing her ever favorite who says and dancing.

Armaan smiled at her antics and then his thoughts went back to the girl they had seen singing this song in the park. He had been thinking of her a lot in the past week. He didn't even know her, but his thoughts always managed to go back to her. Armaan brushed his thoughts off as they heard the doorbell ring. Armaan went and opened it and was stunned to see that very girl standing there with shopping bags.

She didn't seem to notice him. She just ran in and dropped the bags and went and scooped riya up hugging her. Riya's happiness knew no bounds as she realized riddhima was there. Riya kissed her cheek and said "rima? yayyy rima ri paash!"

Riddhima smiled kissing her cheek then said, "haan, main ri ki paas hoon ab! oh aur i have a surprise for you baby! remember i told you about that party? the one dadi said you are going to? come here look" Riddhima took riya over to her shopping bags and pulled two outfits out.

"this one is for me. kaisa laga?"

"woww rima pincess! ri want too" riddhima smiled. "hmm toh riya wants one too? but this one is too big for you! but i have something else that you might like."

"wow! same same! rima ri same! ri pincess tooo" Riddhima smiled as riya kissed her cheek. Dadi then smiled and said, "riddhima beta i didnt realize you meant such an expensive lehenga. How can we take such an expensive gift?" riddhima's eyes filled with tears as she said that.

"please aunty, dont think of it as a gift. if you had bought it for her then would it still be an expensive gift? riya is so close to my heart! i dont know how, butt i've become so addicted to her in the past week. I enjoy doing all this for her. I cant explain it, but when i saw this lehenga at the store toh I just couldnt control myself. I had to get it for her." Dadi simply nodded, but Riya wiped riddhima's tear with her tiny palm and said, "rima no nona"

Riddhima kissed her palm and said, "haan aur riya bhi no rona hm? toh phir why were you crying?" Riya looked down sheepishly as if being caught stealing another childs lolipop. "woh..riya miss rima...rima no go paygoup...rima ghandu" riddhima smiled and held her ears. "sorry. im soo sorry baby. woh amrita ki mama wapaas agaya toh she likes to go with her. toh how can I go? hmm? lekin i promise ki even if i can't come see you everyday toh i will at least call everyday hm? aur every wednesday riya aur riddhima ek saath park jayenge kyun ki mujhe wednesday kaam nahin hain. well hum jayenge agar tumhari papa ko manzur hain hm?"

Armaan stood their admiring the duo. He had often dreamt of her, but nor had he known her name, nor did her know anything about her. And her she was playing with and cuddling his daughter, completely oblivious to his presence. His thoughts were broken as anaya then spoke.

"array i almost forgot! riddhima this is armaan. riya's father." Riddhima looked up at armaan and smiled. She got up still holding riya, and shook his hand. "it's a pleasure to finally meet you. I hope you dont mind me spending time wth your daughter. She is a complete angel by the way. She is so sweet and you are so lucky to have such an amazing daughter."

"hmm thanks, waise i dont know about lucky! I came home after a full week of missing this little critter, and she sees me and the first thing she does is starts crying and complaining that she wants you. I feel so unloved! haha there was no hi papa, missed you papa...only rima paash rima paash" Armaan laughed and teased them. Riya understood she was being teased and hid her face in riddhima's neck. Riddhima slightly laughed, and said, "i am so sorry about that! i had no idea! Riya you didn't even kiss her papa? very bad! chalo jaldi se papa ko kissy do!"

Riya quickly leaned forward and kissed her papa's cheek then hid back in riddhima's neck, making them laugh. Armaan then spoke, "hm well looks like my little critter wont be letting go of you anytime soon, so care to join us for lunch?" Riddhima agreed and they say down for lunch. Riddhima fed Riya as she wouldnt leave her, not that riddhima minded.

It was then Riya's naptime, but she just wasnt willing to nap as she knew then riddhima would leave. "acha i promise ki i will call you later today okay riya? I'll try to drop by again, but i have to go to work na?"

Riddhima then decided to trick Riya and began singing to her.

(do watch only imagine riddhima and armaan instead of aishwariya and arjun; ridz is singing purely for riya, but armaan is fuzzy...he seems to be leaning towards both, he even imagines himself with riddhima...)

After Riya fell asleep. Riddhima excused herself saying she had to report for duty at the hospital. Armaan then intrigued asked which hospital she worked at. She responded saying sanjeevni. Armaan then smiled. "Waise I currently work at Hope Hospital, but I am joining Sanjeevni from tomorrow. I guess I'll be seeing a lot of you then hm?" Riddhima smiled then replied with, "hm i guess i'll be getting more excuses to see Riya then too!" Armaan laughed at that then Riddhima walked out.

urgh i didnt want to stop writing...but my essay calls me and i could go on writing forever...hopefully if i can finish my essay quickly i'll update another part or installment today itself!
