Hi Guys!
Thank you for your wonderful and warm comments about my new fan fic...I replied back to as many as I could but due to time constraint and my other priorities I couldn't reply back to everyone...this update might be short but I am slowly building the story so stay with me until than...ehheeh just like my other fan fics my updates gets longer as the story builds...so until than enjoy!

Chapter 2

Hanuman Chalisa could be heard around Khurana mansion...everyone's day wouldn't go well without hearing it....in the temple stood a man with white kurta performing aarti and singing Hanuman Chalisa...everyone stood behind him praying lost in his voice...he gave everyone the aarti...first to the elders of the house than to all the workers....everyone smiled and left to do their respective work...
Savitri Devi she has a heart of gold but strict when wants to be....to her family and discipline is everything...everyone respects her orders and wishes..if there is anything that is running in her mind 24/7 is about her grandson Maan.
Madhuri Khurana: Daughter-in-law of Savitri Devi...she is nice and caring...respects Savitiri Devi and considers her as a mother....she is a proud mother of Maan Singh Khurana and Dev Singh Khurana (Not so proud)....
Ronit Khurana: Very strict business man but is always very caring toward his family..he never defines his mother and his wife's wishes...
Dev Khurana: Spoiled, arrogant, and egoistic..Currently, attends Delhi college and to him power is everything...he uses his money to get what he wants and with whoever he pleases...
Maan Singh Khurana: Always have been a naive person...he believes anyone and anything that comes his way...everyone often worries about him since he is so easy to fool...he became bramachari after he meets Pandayji..he worships and does whatever Pandayji tells him...he is the main worry for everyone in the household...
SD: Maan bete yeh kab tak chalega? (she asked him as he finished putting down the aarti plate)
Trans: Maan how long will this go on for?
Maan: Kya Dadima?
Trans: What Dadima?
SD (points at his outfit which he often wears...white kurta with golden vest..): yeh sab..tumara yeh bramachari ka avatar? Tumhe maloom hai na main aur tumhari mummy kinti fikar karte hai
Trans: All this...your bramachari outfit....you know how your mom and I worry about you....
Maan: Dadima aab yehi meri zindagi hai..
Trans: Dadima this is my life now...
Madhuri: Paar beta shadi karni bhi toh zarorri hai...tum iss ghar ke bade pote ho aur Dev se phele tumahri shadi honi bahut zaroori hai...hum sabko tumara yeh sab nahi dekha jaa sakta
Trans: You know marriage is important...you are the eldest grandson of this family and before Dev it is important you get married...we all can't see you like this....
Maan: hey Bhagwan...aap dono ko pata hai ki main shadi toh kya ladkiyon ke baare main nahi soch sakta...maine Pandayji se vada kiya hai....Dadima aab mujhe wapas jaa kar sanan (shower) karna pade ga...Subah subah aap kaisi baate karne lagae...aaj mera din bilkul bhi thek nahi jaayega...(he left the temple to go to his room...both SD and Madhuri looks at him with disappointed look)
Trans: Ohh my God...Do two know that I can't even think about marriage and girls....Dadima now I have to go and take shower again...now my day won't go well because of the topic you two brought up....

Downstairs everyone was having their dinner peacefully....as usual there was tension and worry about Maan...they have tried every possible way for him to agree for marriage....
Ronit: Woh Maan kaha par hai?
Trans: Where is Maan?
Dev: As usual shadi ke baare main sunke sanan (mocking him) karne gaye hogaye
Trans: As usual taking a shower again after hearing marriage topic again
Ronit: Kitni baar kaha hai woh tumhara bada bahi hai...izzat se baat karo
Trans: How many times do I have to tell you. he is your older brother..learn to respect him
Dev: Bhai?...aapko maloom hai ki agar mere saare friends ko pata chala ki Maan mera bahi hai toh mere baare main kaya kehegaye?
Trans: Brother?...You know if my friends find out that Maan is my brother what will they say about me?
Ronit: Kuch nahi kahegaye...aab chup chap se kahana kaho...
Trans: They will say nothing...now shut up and eat...
Dadima: Ek yeh hai jo izzat toh kya baat nahi sunta aur ek woh hai jo izzat karta hai magar bramachari ka bhoot sawar chara hua hai...kaha se galti hogayi humse...
Trans: We have him who doesn't respect or listen to anyone and we have another one who knows how to respect but is adament of being a bramachari...where did we go wrong?
Ronit: Sab aapki galti hai maa...aap toh jaante hai ki bachpan se Maan kaise kisiko vishwaas karta hai...what was the need to send Maan to Pandayji donation ke liye?
Trans: This is all your fautlt...you know that since childhood Maan believes anyone very easily...and you sent Maan to Pandayji for donation....
Dadima: Mujhe kya maloom tha ki woh jayega insaan bankar aur wapas aayega bramachari bankar...
Trans: How would I supppose to know that he would go as a man and come back as a bramachari....
Madhuri: Maa sahi kehe rahi hai...isme inki kya galti hai..galti toh humari hai joh humne intna bhola ladka mila...aab kaya karna hai? Kya yeh hamesha ki tarah bramachari rahe ga kya?
Trans: Maa is right...how is she at fault....if there is anyone's fault than it is ours that we got such a innocent child....now what do we do? Will he be a bramachari for all his life?
Dadima: Mere paas ek idea hai....main tum sab ko batana bhool gayi...(all listen to Dadima..Dev roles his eyes and excuses himself) Kal aap dono ko toh maloom hai ki meri sahali ki party thi...(Both nod) waha maine ek ladki dekhi jo Maan ke liye bahut aachi rahegi... (Madhuri and Ronit look at each other and ignored what Dadima said) Kya hua?
Trans: I have an idea....I forgot to tell all of you..you knew that yesturday I went to my friends party...over there i saw a girl that will be perfect for Maan....What happend?
Ronit: aapko maloom hai Maa woh nahi manega....bahut hi jada ziddi hai....
Trans: You know Maa that he will not agree...he is very stubborn
Maduri: Haan yeh sahi kehe rahe hai...jinti der tak yeh bramachari rahe ga tab tak hum yeh bhool sakate hai iski shaddi ke baare mein..
Trans: Yeah he is right...as long as he is a bramachari till then we can forget about his marriage
Dadima: Woh sab muj par chod do...woh mera department hai...magar kya tum dono tayar ho?
Trans: Leave eveything to me...that is my department...but what do you guys say?
Maduri: haan main tayar hoon...bas agar mera beta wapas aajaye
Trans: yeah I am ready....if my son will be back...
Ronit: Agar aap dono ne decide karliya hai toh main kaise na kar sakata hoon
Trans: If you two have already decided than who am I to say no
Dadima: Ok ok..Maan aah raha hai
Trans: Ok ok..Maan is coming
Maan comes and touches his fathers feet in his usual attire...he goes and sits on his chair...he says a quick prayer before starting the food...he looks up and sees everyone staring at him....
Maan: Kya hua? Aap mere ko aise kyun dekh rahe ho?
Trans: What happend? Why are you looking at me like this?
Ronit: Kuch nahi bete...office jaane ke liye tayar ho?
Trans: Nothing son..are you ready for the office?
Maan: Papa aapko pata hai ki main office nahi ja sakta....waha ladikiya hai
Trans: Papa you know I can't go to the office...there are girls there
Madhuri: Aapki Dadima aur main toh bhi ladikiya hai....humse koyi problem nahi hai
Trans: Your Dadima and I also girls....you have no problem with us
Maan: Aap dono ki baat koyi aur hai....main dosri ladkiyon ki baat kar raha hoon...Pandayji kehte hai ki ladikiya sari musibaat ki jadh (root) hai...narkh se bhi buri hoti hai yeh ladkiya...mujhe marne ka shok nahi hai....(Dadima hits her head) na baba na
Trans: You two are different....I was talking about other girls...Pandayji says that girls are the main root for problems....they are worse than hell and I am not in a hurry to die....no way
Dadima: Yeh sab sach nahi hai..sab jooth hai...ladikiya toh ghar ki laxmi hoti hai...woh ghar ko abahag karti hai barbaat nahi...apni mumma ko lelo...
Trans: All this is not the truth..its all a lie...girls are considered Laxmi...and they prosper the house not ruin it...take your mom for example
Maan: Aapko maloom hai apne padosi ki jo biwi hai..woh kaise apni saas sassur ko control karti hai...apne pati ko bhi nahi chodda usne...maine us bachare se baat ki hai..aur maine use Pandayji ko refer kiya hai...aab Pandayji uski madad karege
Trans: did you know that our neibhors wife..how she controls her mother and father in law...she didn't even spare her husband....I talked to the poor guy and I reffered Pandayji to him...now Pandayji will help him
All three: What!
Ronit: tum aise kaise kar sakte ho? (he looks at him confused)
Trans: How can you do that?
Maan: Dekha shadi se behetar hai ki woh humara club join kare....aur aap sab meri shadi karvana chahte hai (shakes his head...and finishes eating...)
Trans: See it is better to join our club than getting married...and you guys wanted me to get married...
Ronit (rubs his forehead): mera sar dard ho raha hai iski baate sunke....main kaam par jaa raha hoon....chal Maan
Trans: My head is hurting listening to his talks...I am going to work...let's go Maan
Maan: magar pappa
Trans: But Dad
Ronit: Main kuch sunna nahi chahata
Trans: I don't want to listen to anything...
Maan gets up and goes with his dad to work..Dadima and Maduri looks at each other shaking their head... both sit in the car..."magar mujhe jaldi jaana padega kam se...Pandayji ko milna hai"
Trans: But I have to leave early from work to meet Pandayji
Ronit: Pandayji ko milna zaroori hai?
Trans: Is it important to meet Pandayji?
Maan: Haan...aaj ek meeting hai
Trans: Yes there is a meeting today
Ronit shakes his head..he thinks "As long as there is this Pandayji in Maan's life..Maan will not change...I need to take Pandayji out...he ruined his own life and now he wants to ruin Maan's and other kids life as well....mere bete ko aur bewakoof banaya...(he looks at his outfit while Maan is busy praying that no girl touches him..he shakes his head) ugh kaise kapre pehene hai...hopefully Dadima is right about the girl and changes Maan...(he looks at Maan again...) ASAP! Ronit stops the car in front of the office....
Maan gets out of the office and starts saying Hanuman Chalisa fast....Ronit just walks ahead of him...
Precap: Dhoor...dhoor raho mujhse...kitni baar kaha hai mere samane maat aaya karo..
Trans: Stay away from me...how many times I have told you not to come in front of me....
Note: Ok so I am very bad at Hindi-English so if you can't understand my hindi than let me know so I will start writing my future updates in English only!
