Jaya - this is precisely what I was trying to say, but, as usual, I used way too many letters. Thanks for summing it up so nicely.😳 😆

If you apply the reasoning that you gave, Jaya, for why anyone would be bitter - as in "Bitterness generally stems from unmet desires" - I think it applies fairly well to Vidya, under the circumstances.
She is not ignoring the facts; she was not ignoring it before either; there was just a possibility that the matter was of the past, that is all. Now she knows that the matter is of the present as well. So, whereas she had distanced herself from any emotion about it before - be it sadness or disappointment - they are now back with vengeance, except as something much stronger. It's either going to consume her like a mammoth of a tiger would, or she is going to have to escape it by jumping off a cliff...
Just as her calm response to finding out about the other woman did not make sense before, this reaction is also another extreme...

I'm not sure she (or I) make any sense in this regard ;)

Me again...

I just reread the chapter. Another thing I find interesting is the signature of Trojan. (Jaya, pay attention here so you can recap what I'm saying using less letters...😆 )

This Trojan, who is probably Guarav, could also represent Vidya herself.

1. Trojan horse - Isn't she like the trojan horse? More than what she appears... and ready to battle for Guarav's heart.
2. Trojan malware - I think she's going to mess with Guarav's brain like the malware does a computer...
3. Trojan contraceptive - do I really need to spell this one out? 😳

I'm waaayyy over-thinking this, aren't I? Just useless mind-wandering thoughts... (Okay. Fine. I'll go back to my corner.)

hi Devi,

am commenting after a long time...apologies for that...

you have woven a wonderful story...i had started off with watching the show but now i dont, yet i see the story unfolding infront of my eyes as i read it..

your maturity in storytelling is something i admire to the fullest ...and i will repeat here that i became a member of IF only because your "love and despair" and muskaan's "deewangi" forced me to terminate my silence and praise your work..

this story has a lot of complicated characters and emotions...i am still not able to understand exactly what the the duo are feeling after the truth is out - Gaurav seems to have lost his only friend - and is missing her presence and their times together. but Vidya, she is bitter - why, after all she knew all months back...so why the suden change ...
i am sorry but I couldnt quite understand the relevance of "where the wild things are"...

looking forward to more gripping updates from your side :) love you
