Still did not have sympathy for anwesha though i wish her happiness with Yash

Glad you wish her happiness even though you dont like her.

I am truly happy for Geet and Maan and Maan and geet really deserve all the happiness that comes to them.

And I am happy that their children are somehow instrumental in giving them the happiness that they deserve.

Children should be a proof of your love and not be the reason for you to be together. It never works because then the process of bringing them up is also full of hurdles and when they are grown up, they have also witnessed your dissatisfied journey which leaves an everlasting psychological effect on them which nobody can erase and the parents are again back to square one.

Beautifully said. Children should not be considered a burden but a blessing and a couple should keep in mind the effect their relationship with each other has on their children. Children are more secure when they know their parents love each other as much as they love them.

When i read through your update, my mind and heart kept feeling that it was geet actually who had more reasons for taking revenge on Arjun because he did things to her without her in any way asking for it and she became a pawn in his ambition and for that he kept harming her and Maan.

But Anwesha went into it with her eyes open. she did know from the beginning what kind of person Arjun was and still for a mistake that she committed equally, she wanted to have her cake and eat it too. It was a question of not wanting to take equal reaponsibility for her actions. I think I am being hard hearted, na but I am not able to be sympathetic to anwesha, other than bringing maan and geet together by her own actions.

You are perfectly right when you said that Geet was more wronged than Anwesha and had greater justification for taking out her anger on him. but then we have to keep in mind her character. She was always portrayed as the more adjustable, forgiving and patient one.


The only time she behaved out of character was when she confronted Dev but then one has to give allowance for the fact that she was pregnant at the time and one's emotions are generally heightened during this time. Also she had not grieved for her father properly as she had withdrawn into a shell right after his death. So a lot of innate grief and disappointment was there and she held Dev responsible for it. When someone you trust a lot lets you down, the hurt and anger is more. Geet never trusted her bro, knowing his character. So she did not feel as agrieved.


Moreover, if you recall, Geet agreed to marry Maan despite knowing she will have a hard life in the chawl only because she wanted Anwesha's happiness. So all along Anwesha's happiness meant a lot to her as she was quite close to the girl even before she became her sister in law. After she became her sister-in-law, Anwesha's happiness became even more paramount because she knew how much Maan himself loved his sister. She should have stopped Annie-Yash's plan or at least informed Maan about it but then she thought Anwesha had a right to seek her own brand of justice for what she has gone through.

Why did she herself not seek revenge against her bro? Because come to think of it, her bro actually did her good even though he did not set out to do so. How else would she have found a gem of a man like Maan? So though Arjun's intent was bad, the end result was good so she was willing to look beyond it all and accept the turns in her life as destiny, a destiny which worked in her favour.


Coming to Anwesha, she has been the spoilt,immature sister of Maan who had the misfortune of falling in love with the wrong man and not trusting her own brother to confide in him before taking that relationship to the next level. She made a horrible mistake and ended up making her brother and sister-in-law pay the price for it. If it had not been for her, Maan would have married Sameera. But would they have have all been happy? That is a big question mark. She was a catalyst in shaping the lives of four individuals - Maan, Geet, Dev and Sam - although she never intended to do this. Having made the mistake of sleeping with a guy before formal marriage she ended up getting pregnant. For fear of public humiliation she wanted to marry the guy in the hope that he will mend his ways once he realises the responsibilities of impending fatherhood. Alas, Arjun never changed. Anwesha paid a huge price for her error of judgment and her folly by losing her baby which itself is a severe blow to her. She was also weighed down by the guilt of what her acts had done to her father. Has she not suffered enough for it? All said and done she did not commit a crime, only made a serious mistake which boomeranged on her and her family.


Unlike Geet who is more forgiving, Anwesha wanted revenge to appease her own grief and disappointment. Moreover, Geet had found her happiness so did not think of revenge. Anwesha was still searching for happiness and in the absence of it revenge took over her. Yash offered to help her and she grabbed at it. I'm not justifying her actions but people are built differently and react to the same situation differently. That does not mean they are bad or vicious.

All is well that ends well. Loved all the characters, maan, geet, rano, sameera, dev, adi, pinky, venkat, manju, everybody and sad to let them go.

Looking for ward to the next journey.
