Dhaba scene was very sweet 😛 .

Chapter Fifteen
(The Rest of My Evening With You)

Geet was so amazed! the carnival was truly the best! " Ash, Arjun, Maan!... let's all go on the ferriswheel!" said Geet as she was eating her kulfi. " Sure!" said Arjun and Ash together. " No" said Maan. " Oh ho Maan... you ruin the fun... chaliye naa" said Geet. " No Geet... I'll just watch" said Maan. " Oh ho Maan bhaiya... aap to bara na na kar rahe hain... bachpan mein he use to drag Veer and I to the ferriswheel!" said Ashlesha with a smirk.

" Haww! Maan... not fair.. lets go!" said Geet as she dragged Maan with her. Maan was protesting against it but he had no choice but to go with Geet. Geet lined up with Maan and the lady behind them said, " Sada suhagan raho beti". It was the same lady who was at the stall. Geet and Maan turned around and the lady was gone. Geet frowned, " She is the same one that I saw at the other mela... and now she's here..."

"Forget about her..." said Maan. Geet shrugged and she looked forward. It was Maan and Geet's turn. They stepped forward and Maan helped Geet into the shaky ride. She was so excited... " Maan! this is so exciting!" said Geet as she looked around. " It hasn't even started Geet... relax" said Maan as he sat comfortably. Geet was in front of him and it was quite windy outside.

Her hair was blowing in the wind and Maan was looking at her... she was smiling like never before. It made Maan smile a little... Geet noticed and smirked, " Smile no. 3?" Maan stopped for a second and looked away. After everyone was seated, the man started the ferris wheel ride. As he was starting it, it became a little rough and Geet slid against Maan, crashing into him a little. " Sorry!" said Geet. Maan sat up and he looked the other way, " Its okay".

The ride was so much fun... the man made the ride go faster because Geet was yelling, " OYEEEEEEEE... AUR TAIZZZ". Maan looked at her, " Geet! its not six flags." " Oh ho Maan.. pata hain.. apne Hoshiyarpur mein mela hota tha.. aur mein aur papajii jaate thay... he use to ride with me on it and-" said Geet as the smile on her face vanished. Maan looked at her and said, " Geet... its okay... don't remind yourself of that... its gone and done with". Geet looked at her feet and then Maan again and smiled, " You're right.."

Maan looked the other way again and then he felt Geet's hair on his face. Her soft light brown hair was blowing softly onto his face and Geet didn't realize because she was looking the other way and waving at Arjun and Ashlesha. Maan closed his eyes and felt as if her hair was like feathers softly stroking his skin. He looked at her and he softly moved it out of his face, tucking it behind her shoulder. She looked at him with her large hazel eyes questioningly and he looked down and to the other way again.

Geet blushed and then the ride was suddenly over. The man operating the ferris wheel slowly brought each couple down. As Maan and Geet approached the platform, she said, " Thanks Maan!". He only nodded and then he stood up to help her out. The man stopped their little compartment to the platform and Maan stepped out helping Geet out. " Sada suhagan raho" said the old man smiling. Geet frowned, " Kya?"

Maan looked at him with a glare, " Aap kya-". "Choriye naa Maan...I've been hearing it all day" said Geet as she pulled him away before Maan got even more angry, therefore creating a scene. Ashlesha and Arjun both joined Geet and Maan... " To?! how was it?" said Ashlesha as she winked at Geet. " It was so much fun!..." said Geet. " Acha chalein? the rest of the camp must be waiting" said Maan. " Fine jii.. chalein" said Geet rolling her eyes.

The four went walked to the jeep and Maan jumped in first and started the ignition as Ash and Arjun climbed in at the back. Geet turned on the radio and it was her favorite station again, and the VJ on the radio said, " To all those lovers of our sweet retro eras, here is Aao naa, gale lag jao naa... enjoy!". " I LOOOVE this song" said Geet. " Geet.. you love every song... seriously" said Maan. " Oh ho! its a lovely song" said Geet. " I lovee itt!" said Ashlesha.

" EHH Aaaaooo naa galee lagaoo naaa" sang Arjun dramatically. Geet laughed, " ITNI SHARMILI HO JAANIIII..." sang Geet loudly near Maan's ear . Maan glared at her, " Geet!". Geet ignored him and she sang on, Aaja aaja na lehrake he.....Duniya se darte ho to mein ........... Saare deepak aayi hoon bujhake". Ash and Arjun were laughing and singing along. Maan was starting to get a headache and he turned the radio off. " Maan!" said Geet with a frown. " Sar mein dard ho raha hai..." said Maan. " Kya hai Maan! saara mazaa karab kar dete ho" said Ashlesha.

" Di! its not good for you either so don't act all innocent" said Maan. Ashlesha went quiet and looked at Arjun who frowned, " Maan... she's-". " Why can't Ashlesha listen to it loud?" asked Geet. " Because she's pregnant Geet" said Maan. Geet's eyes went wide and Ashlesha was blushing, " ASHH! CONGRATS!". " Thanks!!" said Ash. " There is nothing in the medical dictionary that says Ash can't listen to loud music" said Arjun protesting a little.

" Arjun..." said Maan. " Maan.. he's right" said Geet. " Geeet!" said Maan even further. " Kya karlenge haan? Im a female.. I would know! and BTW... im a doctor myself.. I WOULD KNOW!" said Geet. Maan was stumped... he didn't reply to her. " No.. sorry..." said Geet as she turned on the radio. Another song came on and Geet sat there with her arms crossed.

They approached the camp and Maan parked the jeep beside his. Arjun helped Ashlesha out and Maan was about to help Geet out until she totally shook off his hand and Maan stepped back. As she was about to jump out, her foot got stuck in between the seatbelt that was and she almost fell until Maan stepped up and caught her in his arms. Her heels came off and she fell down on top of Maan. Her hair was on his face and she looked at him embarassed. He looked at her through her hair again. She moved it off her face.

Ash and Arjun were standing there smirking. Geet and Maan were lost in eachother's eyes and Maan could hear her breathing hard and heartbeat increasing. Geet snapped out of it and she said, " Sorry Maan". She picked her self up from on top of him and her ankle felt sore.. she limped around with pain visible in her eyes and he said, " Its fine". He got up and brushed his clothes off and realized Geet was limping around. She leaned against the jeep and Ash and Arjun came u pto her and said, " Are you okay Geet!?!? is your ankle fine?!!". " yeah i think its just sore.. its finee" said Geet. Maan realized and he looked a little worried and he said, " Here... I'll help you".

Maan picked her off the ground and into his arms. Geet looked at Maan with questioning eyes again and he looked straight ahead. She felt so light... so weightless. Ash and Arjun just laughed to themselves. Maan carried Geet into the camp and everyone was staring and laughing a little. Maan didn't care but Geet was embarassed but she fought hard not to smile. Maan carried her towards the girls cottage and he opened the door. Ashlesha followed but Arjun stopped her and she understood. They smirked and left the other way.

Maan carried Geet inside and put her on the loveseat beside the fireplace. He looked around for the first aid box in case she cut herself. He stood up and looked around. He came back with a box and knelt down in front of Geet. He took her foot and massaged it for a bit to check if everything was okay. She was blushing like mad! Maan put an ointment on her ankle softly massaging her foot. Maan looked her with his chocolate brown eyes and he remembered what was in his pocket for a few hours.

He took the chance and he took one out and put it on her foot. She looked at him with a million questions in her eyes and pure disbelief. He kissed her ankle and put the other payal on the other foot. He did the same and she rested her feet down softly. He was about to leave until Geet stopped him by the arm. " Don't go" she blurted out. He turned around and looked at her. She saw a sincerity in his eyes. Something different.

He felt a little awkward.. " What the hell did you just do Maan" thought Maan. Maan sat beside her and he turned around to face her, " Uh Geet... woh um.. I'mm..-" " Kuch bolnay ki zaroorat nahi hai Maan... Thankyou" said Geet. Maan smiled a little and said, " I thought you like them". " I do Maan... thankyou" said Geet as she smiled warmly. Maan nodded, " You rest... I'll handle the rest of the day". Geet nodded and Maan was about to leave when Ashlesha came in to check on Geet. " Oh ho... Maan bhaiya... aap yahaan.. itni der?"

" Di... I'll go" said Maan as he walked past Ashlesha and went out the door. Ashlesha walked towards Geet who was blushing like mad. She sat down on the loveseat beside her and said, " Geet..." She looked down at her feet and saw two payals on her feet. " Geet.. yeh kaisay?" said Ashlesha.

" Woh Ash.. nahi.. " said Geet trying to look away and she bit her lip. Ashlesha realized and she smirked, " Geet... Maan ne tumne diya na?" Ash put her arm around her shoulder and Geet faced her. " They look so pretty on your feet Geet... and can I ask you something?" said Ash. Geet nodded and Ash continued, " Tum Maan ko chahne lagi ho kya?" Geet looked at her and then blushed. " Tumhari aakhen bata rahin hai kay tum usse pyar karne lagi ho" said Ashlesha. " No Ash.. aisa kuch nahin hai" said Geet as she tried to stand up up and her payals gave it away and she sat back down hard onto the couch. Ashlesha laughed, " Geet...I know you do..."

Geet smiled to herself and she blushed, " Maybe I-" began Geet. Geet suddenly remembered something. Her smile vanished and she completely froze. Ashlesha frowned and looked at her, " Geet... kya hua?" Geet had a tear rolling down her eye and Ashlesha saw her crying. She said, " Geet... why are you crying!.. kya hua!".
