*Fan Fiction Banner Contest*

Welcome friends! I apologize for the delay...last week was like a whirlwind. Anyway, it's finally time to get this contest started again.

Based on the votes I received in the "Banner Contest Solution" thread, we will now conduct this contest in the manner which was described in Option A. Here is the plan:

The contest will be completely restarted, and this time members will only be allowed to submit banners that have NO jodi pictures. The vote counting team will consist of me and three or four volunteers who are not participating in the contest. Vote counting will not begin until the voting thread is closed until which time members will be free to change their votes. We will only announce the results once we all agree on them. Members who submitted banners in the previous contest will each receive a siggy of appreciation from me and all of those banners will be showcased in a sticky thread for a couple weeks. Unfortunately those banners will not be included in this new contest because they have jodi pictures in them (perhaps with the exception of one). This solution will prevent any arguments between different fan groups, and we can avoid having to conduct a new banner contest every time a new television couple gains popularity.

Ready to get your creative hats on? Just read the rules below and you'll be ready to go!

Rules

1. The size of all banners submitted should be exactly 728x90 pixels.

2. Each member may submit up to 5 banners.

3. Banners may NOT be animated.

4. Banners may have images on them, but there should be NO pictures of any television actors.

5. Creators may NOT post their name or logo on any of the banners.

6. Banners should NOT contain any inappropriate graphics or writing.

7. All banners must say "Fan Fiction Section" or simply "Fan Fictions" on them.

Please upload your banner to PhotoBucket or some other suitable website. TinyPic is not working on India-Forums at the moment. Banners should be submitted by PM to SuhanaSafar. The deadline to submit is Friday April 8, 2011.

hey thanku...but i have a doubt, can we use some other writing apart from fanfic section, like how in the present banner, home of the creative is written??

Surya, you can write other things on it as well as long as they are appropriate and not related to any specific tv serial/jodi/actor/etc. Anything relevant is welcome.

I just want to clarify that actor/actress pictures are NOT allowed at all. Even if the pictures are not of a jodi or not from the shows. There was a reason that people voted for Option A. It was supposed to completely eliminate the fan rivalries. If I allow actor/actress pics to be used in the banner, this will defeat the purpose. Instead of fighting about which jodi was included and which wasn't, members will start arguing about why their favorite actor wasn't included. So please do not include any TV personality in your banners.
