Chapter sixteen.

Raen said with the cutest smile ever,"Hey beautiful, still angry on me? Okay, listen. I've realised my mistake. I know I'm selfish and always preoccupied with Pia's thoughts so never cared to ask about your problems. So tell me Mish, what difficulties are you going through?"
Misha jerked away his hands from hers and started moving towards the staircase. Raen held her wrist and pulled her in a sudden jolt. "Mish, please don't remain angry on me. Trust me I'm trying to change",he said making cute puppy eyes. "I don't want to talk to you",she said rather rudely. "Oh come on Mish!",he started but she stopped him. " Listen Raen. I think I've made myself very clear. Neither do I want to talk to you nor do I need your bloody friendship."
She left instantly while he was left bewildered. "There has to something serious which Mish is hiding from me. I need to find out." Saying this he climbed down the pipe holders and went off in his car while Misha watched him stealthily hiding behind curtains.

Pia was still sleeping while embracing Abhay. Her arms were around his waist while he sat lazily running his hands through her hair. He was extremely worried now. Maithli and Zaara have been searching Pia's house. They havd attacked her and left her for dead. But why would they search here? What were they searching for? Did Pia have something unique? Did Pia possess something powerful? They had to have a reason for their searching. He had to find out soon about their motive. He was feeling tired now. Yes, even though being a vampire he was tired of protecting himself and his loved ones. He lowered himself quietly and rested his head on the pillow lying beside Pia's head. Pia smiled unknowingly in her sleep and moved up her hands from his waist to his chest. He embraced her back and buried her face in his chest. Even in her slumber, she could feel his love.

In the morning, Pia woke up and found herself in what she could call an awkward position. She was all cuddled up with Abhay, her right cheek attached to his chest and his hands around her shoulder. She got up with a pink blushed face and slowly got closer to his face. He instantly tightened his grip around her and turned such that he was above her now. "What are you upto? Can't wait for another kiss or what?",he asked playfully in a seductive husky voice. "No...umm...ummm...I was just...I mean...My intention wasn't that you know...I mean I just...I was just having a good look at your lips. No no I mean I mean your face",she said avoiding his intense gaze. "Hmmm you can't even lie properly to me!",he replied. She felt like she couldn't breathe anymore. He brought his face closer while she gasped. Her chest was heaving now. He softly brushed his nose with hers. Then his lips stroked her soft pink cheeks. He slowly removed his face and buried it into her hair which smelt divine. He was about to kiss her neck when suddenly her cellphone rang hitting them back to reality.

hei shalini,
it was cute..really these mobile phones r to be banned where there is possibility of romance..kabab mein haldi..arghhh..but it was lovely..wish rean realises misha's problem soon..continue soon..
