i mean....maan is not insecure that geet will go to dev for any reason,even for the baby.....he is insecure that dev is the biological fatehr of the baby and he has more right on it,though if he claims that maan will surely kill him....

oh don't worry honey even i don't like it...i don't believe in the crap of biological parent having the most rights on a child even if that parent never ever cared for it or he/she is a jerk....for me only that person has all the rights on a child who cares for it,who nurtures it with love,who gives it all the attention needed,who is there for it at any point of life.....who loves it regardless of not being its biological parent....be the person a man or a woman.....being biologically related is not enough to claim a child as one's own....u have to be emotionally related to it too...only then u can become a true parent....and in the show,only Maan n Geet are the parents of the child geet is carrying....none has the right to take this right away from Maan ,not even Geet....because he has done much more to the child than what even Geet did for it,be it saving time-to-time,or providing medical care for both mom n baby for the first time,or taking care of the baby by keeping away from his own wife for their good health....MAAN is the true father of the baby...

rightly put... i have always felt Maan would prove out to be a better parent... he may even out do Geet for he surely thinks more for both of them! just like the way he went to ask Dadi... arranging for her check-ups... her eating habits... her tantrums and mood-swings and tht yoga class today... half of which Geet herself had never thought about... but he did! even yest when Geet explained to him wat dev was doing in the kitchen his first instinct was whether she had climbed the stool😳
