First of all I am really really really sorry*holding my ears* for not updating earlier as promised!..From now on I will try my level best to atleast update twice a week!..no fixed days but two updates in a week for sure!
THANKS A TON to all those who appreciated my FF and waited for the update!..special thanks to those who requested to update soon as it made me feel good that someone was actually waiting for me to update it😆..this is my first time on writing so such replies really make me feel extremely good!😃thanks once again!

Chapter 7

It has been 4 months since Maan and Geet started sitting together! Nothing really changed-their fights and Maan's teasing didn't stop.But there was some progress-they teased others too😛 especially Gaurav and when they teased others by becoming a team-GOD they were fun😉! They enjoyed each-other's company a lot. But there were no feelings apart from friendship😃! Geet's friends did tease her now and then but then they knew what kind of girl Geet was !

However some changes in Geet and Maan were clearly visible😛Geet's behaviour in the class was not the same,..she was no more invisible😆..she was confident and more open! she used to play pranks along with Maan(something which Prachi never imagined😲😆)Prachi very well knew that it was all somehow related to her friendship with Maan.

Than Maan's friends also noticed how Maan spent a good amount of his time in class now,bunked less classes and came school more often(actually he hardly missed school!)..they were kind-of-surprised with this but didn't link her with Geet as they knew that Geet was truly not his types! And moreover Maan had a girlfriend!

One fine day at school.

Geet came to her class and was kind of surprised by seeing her seat crowded with students. She rushed to see what was it all about and was shocked to see Maan having a sling on his right arm!

She was shocked and just than the bell rang and everyone dispersed back to their seats.

Geet*concerned*-how did this happen Maan?..are you idiot or what..preboards are just round the corner and you injured yourself and that too on your right hand and how are you now supposed to write notes or do your work..you are such a jerk..(she spoke all this without stopping)

Maan interrupted her-Geet,..Geet..relax and take a deep breath..Oh my god..I never understand how you manage to speak so much without even pausing to take a breath!*laughs*

Geet*highly irritated*-is that supposed to be funny?..

Geet was not pleased. She was already upset on him and here he was acting as nothing happened. As always Maan read her feelings from her face.

Maan-ok sweetheart,I am sorry*makes an innocent face and flashes his killer smile*

Geet-how many times I have asked you to NOT call me that and not to smile at me like that!!

Maan *grins and speaks lovingly*-but what do I do if you are such a sweetheart*pinches her cheeks*

Geet-I am warning you-if you call me sweetheart one more time or pinch my cheeks,I am not going to talk to you!

Maan*dramatically*-Oh God..I am here injured,my arm is paining and this girl is keeping conditions in front of me!

Geet feels bad for him and doesn't see the naughty smirk that he was hiding.😛

Geet-oh..does it really hurt bad?..how did this happen to you?

Maan-well..I was playing water polo with my friends the other day and while going to the changing rooms after finishing our game,I slipped on the floor and hurt my arm.

Geet feels bad.😔

Geet*concerned*-oh..did you see a doctor?..what did the doctor said?..how much time will you have to wear this sling?..is it a fracture?.. is it still hurting?..why did you come to school?.. *irritatedly*why don't you say anything.?..

Maan was surprised seeing Geet so concerned but at the same time he was enjoying it!😉

Maan-Geet..Geet..relax!!!how will I say anything if you don't give me a chance to speak?

Geet-oh..sorry..ya so tell me now!

Maan-Well, it is a mini-fracture and the doctor said that it will take minimum of one month to recover and if I don't take proper care,it might even take longer!

Geet-but we have preboards after 1 month and you haven't even started studying!

Maan-I know,but I would be fine!

Geet is really upset and worried for him.

Geet-why do you take everything so lightly Maan..seriously..I am never going to understand you!..

Maan sees that she has become a little sad and tries to cheer her up!

Maan-cmon Geetanjali..I have hundreds of girls who would be dying to help me ..I just have to say and they would come running to me pleading*dramatically imitating girl's voice* "Maan..Maan!..plz let me help you..let me take care of you..let me hold your hand..let me.."

Geet bursted out in laughter😆 She couldn't help but laugh at Maan's antics.Maan relaxed seeing her laugh(😉).

Geet-haha..ya..Maan..I am sure EXACTLY this will happen!..but can we now come out of your dreams and get a little realistic here😛..hahahaha!

Maan-*irritatingly*very funny Geeta * than smiles*and for your information I have one very sweet friend who is going to help me during this problem of mine*showing his broken arm*

Geet*curious*-really?..which thou lady possess such a great thou LUCK to help thou Maan Singh Khurana?*laughs*

Maan*smirks*-why don't you guess my dearie!

Geet-don't tell me your girlfriend is coming and sitting in our class to help her" sweet cute little boyfriend"😛*smirks*

Maan*annoyed*-first of all,I am not a small little kid..and she is just 2 years older to me 😡..BUT why are we discussing that..leave it..since you have guessed wrongly,I will give you a hint-she is in our class and you know her very well!

Geet*confused*-really?..ah..I am unable to think of names here..why don't you tell yourself..

Maan-ok..one more hint-I ADORE her*smirks*

Geet-Maan..puhleez..you adore every other girl in our class..can you stop playing your stupid games now and tell clearly who is going to help you!

Maan-cmon Geet,..I agree that I say to every other girl that I adore her but I don't mean it for every other girl..However she is my real special friend whom I truly adore!*killer smile*

Geet didn't know why but she felt bad thinking that Maan was talking like that about some girl in their own class..huh!..she ignored it but couldn't ignore the irritation it was causing her!

Geet-whatever..I am not guessing..but I am hoping you have asked your "true special friend" whether she will help you or not because Mrs Sharma is on her way and the first thing she is going to do after she sees you like this is ask you about how you are going to cope-up with the studies and who is going to be taking your notes and etc etc!

Maan-don't worry about it sweetie..she can never deny helping me!

Geet was pissed!

Geet*irritated*-don't call me dearie,sweetie and all that..save it for your girlfriend and your"true special friend"

Mrs Sharma enters the class and as expected the first thing she does is ask Maan what Geet has already predicted!

Mrs Sharma- I am sorry to hear that Maan..with pre-boards so near,I just hope you are able to deal with it all!..do you need me to pick someone from the class to help you or you have some friend who is going to help you!

Geet is faking to look intently in her book but the truth is that all her attention is into knowing who this so called"special friend" of Maan is(😉)!

Maan-thanks Mam,but I should be fine😊..and don't worry my friend would be helping me to cope-up with everything and my studies!

Mrs. Sharma-May I know who is this friend of yours is as I will assign him seat next to you so it is easy for you both!

Geet face fell as she heard Mrs Sharma talking about changing Maan's seat partners. She once so badly wanted to change her seat but now why did it sound so sad and bad to her😔!..she didn't anticipate this and after Maan's talks about his special friend ,this just added to her misery😔.

Maan-no need for that Mam as I am already sitting with her- GEET would be helping me!

Geet gets a shock of her life 😲and looks up at Maan who is smirking and enjoying the shocked look on her face!

Maan sits down and whispers in Geet's ears-how does my thou lucky special friend feels?*smirks seeing Geet's still shocked face*
