Riddhima is walking out of her class, and all day she has been disturbed by Armaan's return to the city. All she wanted to do was forget the fact that she had met him, and she was half way successful in doing so in the last 6 years he was gone. But, now that he was back, all she could do was feel the same way she felt when he told her that she was not needed in his life.

I shouldn't be bothered by him. He means nothing to me now, why am I thinking about the same thing again? Hadn't I decided that even if I ever see him then I will not care, why I am thinking about him? as she thinks about all this she doesn't notice that someone is running behind her, trying to stop her. Finally she catches up with Riddhima and knocks Riddhima out of her senses.

Ridz yaar main kabse bula rahin hoon, main bhaag bhaag ke thak gayi. She holds on to Riddhima as she tries to catch her breathe. You made me run from my class till the cafeteria; couldn't you hear me screaming your name? So many people looked at me, like I was some jungli. That reminds me where is that kaan khajura? Chodo who cares. Acha bata, kya banaya hai aaj Padma aunty ne? I hope it's her aalu ka paratha, she is excellent at making that. Muskaan keeps talking and doesn't realize that Riddhima is lost in her own thoughts. Finally when Muskaan finishes talking, she shakes Riddhima and brings her back to reality. Oye tujhe kya hua hai? Main yahan kabse bakein jaa rahin hoon aur tu hain ke mujhe koi jawab nahin deh rahi.

Muskaan Chaddha - Riddhima's best friend. She has grown up with Riddhima, and shared everything with her. Their day start together, and nights end together. If anybody can beat Riddhima in talking, that was Muskaan. With her, Ridz was herself, and because both love the same things, there is only one thing that can happen when they are together, 'non-stop fun'.

Muski main...wohh, nothing. Ridz tried to hide it but she knows trying to hide anything from Muski was impossible. That girl would take a while to understand something but she wasn't going to take her even one second to understand that something was wrong with Ridz.

Tunein ussein dekha na? shit shit...I thought you wouldn't have since you walk so aimlessly. Dekh, tu tension mat le, just ignore him and just think he's not there. Pata hain woh saala kameena mere saarein classes hain. We've had what? 4 classes till now? And he's in all of them, except one! I was cursing since morning, saalein ne subha se mood kharab kar diya. Thank god that Atul was in the next one with me, he calmed me down.

Atul knows everything about the past. But, since Armaan is his bhai, he couldn't be angry at him for too long. He has done so much for him, he had promised himself that come what may, he will never leave his bhai's side.

Muski relax, I..I...I don't care if he's here...I d...I don't want to know anything regarding why he's here. I was just shocked to see him here, I had questions in my mind, but I think I am fine. I can handle this, I won't let him ruin my mood. Chal, tujhe main parathein khilati hoon, mamma ne especially tere liye diya hai. She almost forgot to give me any food, because of you. I think I should go to your house and live, at least your parents care about me more than her.

Good offer. Alright tonight only we'll switch places. Since last night, mom has been talking about you and your love for first day of school. She didn't even ask what classes I've taken, she asked everything about you. Mujhse toh sirf Padma aunty pyaar karti hai. Aur tu, tere paas toh main hoon, mere parents hai, Nikki hai, Abhi hai. I am so lonely. Muski said this is so dramatically that both couldn't help but laugh.

Hmm so finally Ridz has a smile on her face. Array yaar tujhe toh mujhe dekh kar hi smile karna chahiye. I am your best friend, your better half, you should be welcoming me with your beautiful smile and well rose petals are also fine but yahan school main? Ridz began giggling at that and both of them continued their chit chat till it was time for class.

The whole day passed and Armaan Riddhima didn't meet each other. All Riddhima could do was thank her stars for this. Her mood had gotten so much better after she talked to Muski she didn't want to ruin it again.

It was 4PM. Armaan and Rahul went over to Atul's house respectively. Armaan was surprisingly happy to be back. He was so happy to meet his old friends, and be back to seeing some more known faces.

*Atul's house*

Champ your room is the same, nothing has changed. Should have updated it, this is so boring. All you have is an empty wall with a basketball loop.

As soon as Armaan says that, he bites his lower lip and sits on the bed. So anyway, where is Rahul? Doesn't he always reach on time? aaj woh late kaise ho gaya?

Armaan, like always, he is on time. He's just gone in the kitchen to get us something to eat. If we are going to sit and talk, we are probably going to need some snacks to give us company. There is so much to ask and say.

So, you still miss playing? Atul asked Armaan, thinking if it was alright to ask or not, but then decided it was now or never.

...yeah. I mean I played in LA. I never told dad, I paid the fees and everything out of my allowance and used to keep my bag in the locker room itself. I know he hates it, and doesn't want me to play, but basketball is my life. You might be wondering why I said I miss playing it. I played it there, but it was different. The feeling of playing without dad watching me play, without all of you cheering for me, it wasn't the same. So I played only for one season... Anyway, forget this; I don't want to talk about it more.

Waah tu toh bada aage nikala. You played also without letting Billy know. It's alright, you are back here and now you can join once again. We'll be cheering for you once again.

No yaar champ, I don't want to join, it's still not going to be the same. She won't be there to cheer me.

Just then Rahul walks in and hears him say that. Armaan, she won't be there, but we'll be there. Join and play this year at least. See if you like it again or not, maybe it will help you in feeling more at home here. Just don't do the same things you did then again. Play for the love of that game and for your friends. Keep all of us in mind and play. After begging so much, I hope tu mera sunega aur uss par sochega. Chal ab khaana khatein hai, mujhe bauhot bhook lagi hai.

As they ended that conversation, all 3 of them caught up with everything. Rahul and Atul told Armaan every incident that happened after he left. Armaan was feeling terrible that because of him, 'she' was no longer herself. How could he get so engrossed in himself that he hurt her, the one person who understood him more than he could, she who just by seeing his eyes could tell what he was feeling.

Armaan left Atul's house as he didn't want to stay around anybody right now. He walked to his favorite place, the basketball court. He thought over what Rahul said, what Atul said about Riddhima.

Should I talk to her? But what would I say? I want to say sorry, but she won't want to see my face. So much happened to her after I left, and I wasn't even there for her. Her dad, he was everything how did this all happen. What should I do? God, give me a signal or something, I am confused. I only wish she forgets everything that happened. I don't want her to suffer like this. I know she won't tell anybody that she is suffering, after what Atul said that she doesn't socialize. But, Rahul said she's doing better, but why is my heart not believing that she's doing better? I want to see her! I NEED to see her!!! Did she see me today? I don't think she did, I didn't see her. Would she know by now that I am here? That I have returned? I am sure she knows, thanks to Muskaan. I should have told her not to tell her, but what right do I have to tell Muskaan anything. I don't have a right to tell anybody anything. I think I should at least check from far away how she is. Ok I will do that, and hopefully she doesn't see me.

Riddhima is in her room, watching Band Baaja Baarat with Muskaan. Muski had heard so much about this movie from her other friends, she decided that since Riddhima was down in the morning, they should watch a movie which will help distract her. She had tried her best to distract her during lunch, but she was sure Ridz must have thought about him a little.

Armaan reaches her house and goes to the back, from where he can see Riddhima's room. He hides behind a tree and tries to get a small glimpse of her. He knew every corner of this place. He had been here so many times, he knew where to hide, so he can see her. Sadly, Riddhima had changed the look of her room a few years ago. This made it impossible for Armaan to see her. He hid in different places but was unsuccessful. He gave up.

I guess it's a sign that I shouldn't be seeing her. If I have made her suffer so much because of me, I don't think it will be right for me to give her more pain. I will stay away from her and let her have her space.

Armaan leaves and goes back to his house. Muski and Riddhima continue watching the movie. Muski was happy her plan worked, Riddhima was enjoying herself.

sorry for keeping you all waiting, I was busy with finals, and after that I was so sleep deprived, I had no motivation to write. But, today I have finally written it.

Criticisms welcome. And about the chat the 3 of them had, ah well you will only know later 😉 so keep guessing what happened to AR.

@Yuni - sorry for not being at ur 'party' 😆 and never being able to edit my post on that thread so I have brought Muski already for you 😳
