He decided to keep this new bonding alive, he gave the clubs name that he always go and told them to say his name whenever they go and let him know as well so he can accompany them. Now how he could miss the opportunity to be with Geet can he? Na! He chuckled in his mind on his own joke. Finally the day came to a happy end they all said their good-byes, thanked again for the wonderful time spend and promised to keep in touch.

Chapter Seven.......

Maan watched Geet stroll away, thoroughly confused.

She glanced over her shoulder, her smile tremulous, and he experienced the same stab of something indefinable, something powerful, something altogether frightening, as he had when their skin had touched and she'd first glanced up at him.
He'd never been in love, never trusted the emotion, so what was this strange hollow-bellied, throat-clenching lack of control filling him with elation tinged with fear?
He waved, buoyed by hope when she waved back, a quick lift of her hand before she picked up the pace and scurried away.

She was scared of him.
Not scared exactly, wary. Reserved. Like she wasn't used to stranger lifting up in the air and carries her in between of the crowd in the party. Probably not a bad thing. Her reserve was part of her allure, tempting him to discover everything he could about her.

He said to himself, "Maan tu to gaya kaam se." He locked his fingers at the back of his neck and looked upwards with a bright smile. He let go off his hands and went to the gate to wait for his car. Once he got inside his car, he turned on the radio after searching something that could match to his mood he stopped at the end of the note by the Radio Jockey talking something about the Ehsaas the Emotions. Indeed he was one of among all today who knew what emotions are he got the new definition of the word Emotion. The music interrupted his thoughts. The beat picked up with drumming along with metallic, electronic instrumental tune. Wordings were familiar, as he recognized the song Kaisi Hai Yeh ruth ke jismai Phool Banke Dil Khile...He increased the volume, each line that continued the words were matching his feelings. The feelings that were new to him and he was putting it all together to explain it to him what are these emotions that are warming inside him. He roared his Aston and concentrated on the empty dark road whistling along with the song.

Someone on the other side of the city also listening to the same song and was lost in her own world...she could not until now able to put her fingers on what is this that she is feeling, what kind of Ehsaas is this? As the words forming the lyrics and matched the beats to turn into melodious song, it was unfolding each page of the book that she was willing to read. She closed her eyes resting her side of the head at the rim of the window of the car. Loving the way the fast breeze kissed her cheek as the car cut through the invisible wind. She visions of him from the first meet, the first touch the first word and thereafter and today. A smile lingered on her lips agreeing to what she figured out now. She has stepped into the territory of a world where two hearts meet, where two souls could become one and she did not knew that this exist before called Love.

Days were going by and so does their friendship. Maan took upon himself in getting touch with them on regular basis except Geet as he couldn't get his number and Geet didn't either. He knew Geet wouldn't as she has not been that open with him yet. He always gets the updates on her through Pinki or Adi. They begin to hang out at the club on the weekends it has become their ritual. As their acquaintance become frequent Geet has opened up with him now; they knew each other very well. Now their meetings were not limited to the club. They started to meet outside the club; one of the hang outs was the famous coffee shop in the middle of the town in the evenings. Geet and Pinki had finished their graduation and had not planned their future yet. Adi was already ahead of them he had graduated years back and had acquired a higher position in accounting firm. Adi's office was close by and that's the reason the girls would come and wait for Adi and spend few hours together. This is how Maan one evening bumped into them as he stopped by to get his regular coffee. Today he was earlier than usual, as he was crossing the parking he bumped into Adi. He was pleased to see him after greeting each other he found out the girls were inside waiting for Adi. Upon hearing this anticipation took over him to meet Geet.

Geet and Pinki were at their regular seating the table was moderately close from the entrance and her back was to it. She was engrossed in a magazine and out of blue she felt the pinch in her belly and she instantaneously turned back to the door and saw what her guts told her. Pinki noticed Geet's reaction followed her to where Geet turned, as she was talking to her and she never looked up once from her magazine and was amazed to see Maan at the door waiting Adi to pass and the moment Geet noticed him he had the same glance. Pinki smiled at this new fond attraction between her tow dear friends but with the strong bond. So now they could even sense their presence around them Pinki thought. Pinki has noticed unique communication between Geet and Maan as if reading each other's mind they would do things or say with minimal particulars or explanations. Not only that but, their one touch and they would know whose it was. It was amusing for Pinki.

Maan noticed again the same glimmers in Geet's hazels; it's almost looks like water glosses with the first rays of sun kisses the surface of the ocean. He has taken the inscriptions of her eyes on how it changes the colour and glows on certain emotions that Geet does not surface on her face nor give words to it. He was getting better and better in observing and learning the language of reading unsaid words of her gray rimmed eyes. He doubted that Geet knows that her eyes says it all that she wants to say but hides away easily if that's what she thinks. Maan smiled at the acknowledgment of how her eyes betray her every now and then.

Geet quickly turned and focus on the table. As the men approached first it was Adi who greeted both and put his office bag down and rolled his sleeves up and then untied his tie with loosening the top button and sat down. Maan was about to greet, he heard Pinki calling him, "Maan aap yahan? What a pleasant surprise." And she got up from her seat and gave him half hug, Maan did the same he placed his hand on her head and asked, "How are you kiddo? With a perky smile. "Main theek hoon Maan bha... I mean to say I'm fine Maan." After almost calling him Bhai she felt embarrassed and got hold of herself. It was not missed at all by any one. Adi's eyes stayed wide opened and Geet smiled knowingly as Pinki was the only child to her parents and she always craved for a brother. Geet was her childhood friend and was always around her therefore she never felt the emptiness for an elder sister. With Adi, she never noticed that kind of fondness, she paused in her thoughts infect she started to think of now that and she realized that Pinki acts differently around him and she turned to gaze next to her left and noticed the admiration her male friend who was looking at her female friend. Before she could make things out she caught Maan's voice, "Pinki how I wished that you call me Bhai. You know I always wanted a younger sister and ever since I met you, you sort of filled the spot." Geet found yet another side of his and was very much appreciated him. Pinki's happiness was obvious through her squeal. "Such mai? Kiya mai aapko Bhai bol sakti hoon?" Maan's gesture was no less to show his bonding to Pinki, all he did was brought his hand at the back of Pinki's head and kissed her forehead and that didn't stopped Pinki to hug her brother from his waist in full circle. Pinki quickly wiped her moist eyes and looked up and said "Thank you very much bhai." In reply came "Like wise and he winked at her mischievously. Everyone at the table laughed.

I wanted to give some bonding time to Pinki and Adi as well with Maan...I started with something and ended with completely different. Maaneet moments will always there. To me, all are very important characters that I portrait and would give full justice to their presence. Friends play a very important role in everyone's life and I have taken a full chance to present Friendship. Take a moment and think about a friend or friends who had made difference in your life. Great update. I truly loved the way Maaneet communicate, eyes really do have a language of their own and these two are fluent in it. I also enjoyed Pinki and Maan's bonding. Thanks for the pm & continue very soon...

I just started reading ur FF and am totally loving it. All the chapters have been wonderful to read. I like how the chemitry b/ maan/geet and the others are strong but the relation or to be relationships are not rushed.
