Hearing her alarm ring, Muskaan lazily pushed the comforter off of her and got out of bed.
After taking a shower, as she was picking out an outfit from her closet Rahul's piercing word came back to her ears.
"I can't believe that he would turn out to be like that.." she says remembering New Year's night.
"Anyways.. since he just wants a teacher.. that's what he is going to get" she says determinedly as she ties her hair back into a high ponytail.
"Rahul.. you will have to pick up Sara again and take her to work.." Shilpa says rushing around the house and gathering all the things she needed.
"Yeah.. alright" he responds unenthusiastically.
"And don't be late!" Shilpa says pointing her index finger at him.
"Shilpsss.. can we just forget that.." Rahul says slightly frustated.
"Maasi.. when will I meet Armaan??" Sara asks running into the kitchen.
"Ohh.. you can tell maamu to get you over after your rehearsals.. but you have to meet him quickly and leave okay" she says.
"Alright maasi!!" Sara says walking towards the door.
"What happened between you and Armaan?" Rahul asks judging her expressions.
"Huh? N..Nothing" Shilpa responds looking away "I'll see you later!" she waves heading out the door behind Sara.
"Hey Muskaan...sorry about yesterday haan" Shilpa says after giving Sara a quick hug before she ran away with her new friends.
"Why are you sorry? It wasn't your fault" Muskaan smiles.
"Woh Rahul hai hi aisa...and I'll make sure he comes on time today" Shilpa says.
"You can't come?" Muskaan asks...as she didn't want to see his face again.
"No I have rehearsal today.." Shilpa sighs.
"Oh alright...see you later then" Muskaan gives her a hug before she leaves.
"Armaan and Shilpa...you guys are up" The director says loudly.
Waiting for a while he sees none of them getting up from their seats he once again tells them to get on the stage. Not having any choice both of them quietly walks on the stage.
"Ok Start" the director says.
"Don't do this to me Baby...I need you" Armaan holds her hand.
"You had left me when I needed you the most" Shilpa replies pulling her hand back.
"I had to...I thought you would understand me" he says looking down.
"Feel it guys...it looks like you both are just saying the dialogues and not acting" the director says walking up to them. "Try it once again..." he says patting their backs.
They tried once again forgetting their personal problems and concentrating on the work.
The scene came out perfectly and all the people their praised their acting.
Rahul was in a meeting...but his mind was elsewhere. He kept on checking the time to make sure he picks up Sara on time today and show Muskaan that he is not irresponsible.
"Mr. Grewal...may I see your project file?" His business partner asked.
"Huh?" he asks. "The project" "Oh yes...sorry" he smiles handing him the file.
"Are you getting late to go somewhere?" he asks.
"No..I was just...uh...check the project and see if its fine" Rahul says changing the topic. After the meeting he rushes out and calls Muskaan.
"1...2...3...4" Muskaan teaches the kids some new dance steps as were already pro at the dance steps she had taught them yesterday.
"Continue guys..." She says and answers her phone which rang for the fifth time.
"Yes Rahul?" She asks directly.
"I just called to ask at what time I should come to pick up Sara?" he asks rudely.
"At 2" She yells and switches off her phone in anger. "Ughh why does he have to be so freaking rude" she rolls her eyes and continues teaching them the new steps.
As Armaan reads over the next part of the script he notices that they will have to have a quick kiss.
"Uhh.. sir is this kiss really needed?" Armaan asks the director.
"Oh yes yes it's very much needed, don't worry it is a quick one" the director says patting his back.
"Quick but torturous" Armaan says rolling his eyes.
"Oh yeah must have been torture on New Year's night too! That's why you yourself initiated it" Shilpa sneers as she hears his last comment.
As she leaves, Armaan watches her and whispers "That night was different.."
Reaching the dance hall by 1:45pm Rahul walks into the room quietly.
"Ab dekhta hoon what she says! Rahul Grewal can be responsible" he says smugly.
But the instant he sees the scene in front of him, the smug look is replaced by a genuine smile.
Carrying Sara in her arms Muskaan twirls around as Sara giggles happily.
Feeling a piercing gaze on herself Muskaan looks up to find Rahul. She feels a chill run down her spine, but dismisses it immediately.
"Alright that's all the time we have today" Muskaan says making a sad face "But see you all tomorrow!" she smiles.
Grabbing her bag, Sara runs to Muskaan and tugs on her hand. As Muskaan bends, Sara places a kiss on her cheek and runs off to her maamu.
Watching Sara kiss Muskaan, Rahul feels warmth in his heart, but it leaves instantly as he sees Muskaan walking toward him.
Seeing her wearing a tank top that enhances her perfect curves, and a long black pant, Rahul can't help but stare.
"Ready for the scene?" the director asks.
"Yes sir" both nod, but are sulking inwardly.
"Action!"
"I.. I love you!!" Shilpa says rushing into Armaan's arms.
"I knew our love was true sweetheart" Armaan says pulling her closer.
"I can't live without you" Shilpa continues.
Pulling her head back, Armaan moves his lips closer to hers wanting to complete it quickly, but as soon as both their lips collide, they can't stop themselves from deepening it.
"Cut!" the directions shouts "And you two were acting like you were worried about the kiss.. but that looked to natural! Bravo" he says very happy with the shot.
"On time today huh?" Muskaan asks.
"Yeah.. but don't even think it's due to you" Rahul replies.
"Maamu let's go meet Almaan!!" Sara says tugging on his pant.
"Alright" Rahul says taking her hand in his.
"Aap bhi chaliye" Sara says taking Muskaan's hand in her other hand.
"Uhh.. nahi.."
"You said you had to go there na.. so you can come with us" Sara says.
"Okay" Muskaan says looking downward as Rahul begins walking.
Shilpa takes her water bottles and gulps down the water quickly as she felt breathless after that kiss.
"What was I doing" Armaan chides himself as he walks to his locker room.
Moving both her hands close to each other, Sara unknowingly causes Rahul and Muskaan's hands to rub against each other. As Muskaan tries to pull away her hand, Sara only holds it tighter.
