PART 34
Geet and Maan woke up in the morning and went to the hospital. They went to the reception table.
Maan- Ji, Geet Handa ka abortion ka appointment hain. 10:00 timing thi.
The receptionist has them sign a few papers.
Receptionist- Ms. Handa, aap nurse ke saath chaliye. Mr. Khurana, aap vahan waiting room mein betiye.
Geet- Nahi! Yeh mere saath jayenge.
The receptionist nods. Maan was shocked. Geet held Maan's hand.
Geet- We're in this together.
Maan smiles. Geet and Maan go inside the room where everything is set up for the abortion. Maan sits on the side in the room and Geet lays on the bed. Maan gets up and kisses Geet's forehead.
Maan- Sab kuch theek ho jayega.
Geet- Will our life be back to normal?
Maan- Han. It will. I promise.
Geet smiles and the doctor comes in.
Doctor- Oh, to aap inke husband ho?
Maan- Nahi, main Geet ka boyfriend hoon.
Doctor- Okay, to aap bahar betiye.
Geet- Nahi doctor, agar yeh is room mein mere saath nahi honge, to mere se yeh abortion nahi hoga. The doctor nods. Geet has her abortion and when the process is done, Geet felt sort of dizzy.
Doctor to Maan- Yeh thori der ke liye dizzy feel karegi but within an hour, she will be discharged. Aap inhe lekar ja sakte hain.
Maan- Okay doctor.
The doctor left the room and Maan sat on the bed next to Geet. Maan touched her face. Geet smiled.

Maan- Bahut jald humari jindagi normal ho jayege. Main tumhe udaas nahi rehne donga, tumhare aankhon se aansoon nahi aaone donga.

Geet smiled- Kash aisa ho sakta hain, lekin Maa aur Papa ko jab pata chalega to....to vo pata nahi mere bare mein kya sochenge.

Maan- Nahi Geet, agar vo gussa karenge, to main unhe yakeen dilaonga ke tum koi aisi-vaisi larki nahi ho.

Geet smiled with tears in her eyes.

Maan- Maine kya kaha tha, tumhare aankhon mein koi aansoon nahi hone chahiye.

Geet- Tears of Joy.

Maan smiled and held Geet's hand. Geet kissed Maan.

Geet- I love you.

Maan- I love you too.

The doctor came in.

Doctor- Mr.Khurana, ab aap Geet ko lekar jaa sakte hain.

Geet got up and they went to the reception table.

Geet- Ji, vo jo kuch papers the....

Receptionist- Ji, vo hum aapke ghar mein mail kardenge.

Geet- Ji.

Geet and Maan left. Maan called Dadimaa.

Maan- Dadimaa, abortion successful tha. Hum log Patiala ja rahe hain.

Dadimaa- Ok beta. Drive safe!

PART 35 Geet and Maan got ready to leave for Punjab. Geet- Main kitne der baad Punjab jaa rahi hoon. Maan- It's been a month. Geet- Mere liye ta ek month bahut jiaada der aa. Maan and Geet went in the car and drove to Punjab. In the car, Geet kept on putting the music on really LOUD and was also singing really loud. Geet- MUNDE RANJHE BANIYO NA!!! HEERA CHALIYA MAR UDARI!!! KOI UK TUR CHALI HAYYYYYYYEEEEEE KOI UK TUR CHALI KISE DI NEW ZEALAND TYAARI!!!! HOOOOOOO! MUNDIYO RANJHE BANIYO NAAAAAAA HEERA CHALIYAAN MAR UDARI!!!!! Maan was just staring at Geet.
Maan- Geet! Kya faltu songs lagaye hain!

Geet- Arey! Us Naam ka bhi ek gaana hain! One minute.

Geet looked at her ipod and attached the cable and put it on.

Geet- O'choti si tu jaan kahe rehe parishaan Chat duniya ko duniya to degi gyaan Marna hain tujhe wahaan to yeh Mantar padh le oh bhaiya Altu Jalal tu, aayi bala ko taal tu Tension vension chod do baccha Hoja fully faltu!!!!!

Maan- GEET!!! What nonsense songs! Chalo, I'll show you real music.

Maan put on some English songs. Geet just stared at Maan.

Geet- OH HELLO??? Yeh kya bak bak kar rahe hain?

Maan- Amazing music hain.

Geet- Na Na! Punjabi gaane, Hindi gaane sariaan to vadiaa hunde aa! Akhir eh hi ta sadi Maa Boli aa.

Maan- No Geet, kya Ranjhe, Heartbeat, Lak 28 Kuri Da, STUPID SONGS.

Geet- Nahi Maan! Main aapko ek aur gaana sunati hoon!

Maan noticed that Geet was back to her normal mood and continued to follow the pace. Geet put on a really good Punjabi song.

Geet- SUNO Es gaane nu!

Maan- Geet, yeh cheating hain!

Geet- Cheating? Ab main aapko jubaan ko thori na control kar sakti hoon, aapne khud kaha.

Maan smiled.

Geet- Oye Hoye, har manliya haina?

Maan- Han.

Geet- Yay!!

Geet and Maan continued their journey and they did time pass by arguing, talking, singing, nok jhok etc. Geet saw a dhaba on the way.

Geet- Arey Maan! Dhaba! Mujhe yahan khana hain!

Maan- Nahi Geet, aage Subway hain, hum vahan sandwiches khayenge.

Geet- What about McDonalds?

Maan- No.

Geet- Maan! You're so boring! Chalo dhaba chalte hain!
Maan- No Geet.

Geet- You're afraid! Aap darte ho!

Maan looked at Geet.

Maan- Maan Singh Khurana kabhi nahi darta.

Geet- To dhaba chale?

Maan turned the car around and went to the dhaba with Geet. Maan noticed that instead of seats, there were Manjas. Maan found it difficult to sit on them. There was a huge table in front of them with tap water and mirchis and aachar. A dirty looking waiter came to them.

Waiter- Kya loge?

Maan- Uhmm, Menu to humein mila nahi.

Waiter- Yahan menus nahi hain.

Maan stared at the waiter.

Maan- Uhhh.....

Geet noticed that Maan was sort of lost.

Geet- Maan? Main batati hoon.

Maan nodded.

Geet- Ok, aap aisa kijeye, aap ek dal makhani, ek kadahi paneer, ek chicken tikka masala, 4 butter naan aur 2 aloo ke paranthe aur mix Raita laye. Aur haan, 3 lassi aur saath mein salad.

Maan stared at Geet.

Maan- Geet! Itna saara khana?

Geet- Han, mujhe bhi thora lag raha hain par hum baad mein hor lelenge, khana waste karna accha nahi hota.

Maan was amazed.

After a few minutes, the dirty waiter came with two thaalis FILLED with food.

Maan- Geet, yeh tumne 3 lassi kyun magaya?

Geet- Mujhe two glasses peena accha lagte hain.

Maan- Par yeh cup kitna bara hain.

Geet- Ailo, eh ta bahut chote hain!

Maan- Aur 4 naan and 2 paranthe, yeh hum kaise khayenge?

Geet- With our mouths! Aur kaise? 2 naan main khaongi aur 2 aap, ek parantha main khaongi aur ek parantha aap!

Maan- Hmm.

Maan couldn't eat all the food.

Geet- Maan! Khao na! Khana waste karna accha nahi hota!

Maan stuffed the food down and Geet ate it all one like 5 minutes as if it was nothing.

Geet- Arey chotu! 2 kheer lekar aana!

Maan- Geet! Nahi tum khao lekin main nahi!

Geet- Chalo, fir ek hi le lete hain, hum share karlenge.

Maan- Hmm.

When the kheer came, Geet took the first bite.

Geet- Mmmmm!! Bariya!

Geet went and sat next to Maan and fed him the kheer.

Geet- Accha haina?

Maan- Hmm.

Geet fed Maan the kheer and ate some also and then they left. Maan was stuffed. Maan couldn't even sit in the car properly.

Maan- Hey bhagwan.

Geet- Maan, chalo na, hum late ho jayenge. Abhi to 3 ghante pare hain Patiala puhnchne ke liye!
Geet slept the whole way to Patiala. Maan just stared at her.
Maan whispered- Jab soti hain, yeh larki kitni innocent lagti hain, angel ki tarah. Lekin khaati ek truck driver ki tarah aur bolti ek Bak Bak Machine ki tarah.

Geet and Maan arrived in Punjab.

Maan- Geet, welcome to Punjab. We're almost in Patiala.

Geet- Maan, jab hum Patiala puhunchenge, to sabse pehle hum Gurduwara jayenge.

Maan- Gurduwara?

Geet- Han, I want everything to be perfect.

Maan- Ok.

Geet and Maan went to the gurudwara.

Geet prayed- Babaji, janti hoon maine aur Maan ne galti ki, es liye apni galti hum Maa aur papa ko batane aaye hain. Babaji, mere Mama aur papa nu jiaada naaraz na karvao, mere to bardaasht nahi hoga.

Maan prayed- Hum dono ne galti ki aur humne apni galti ka ehsaas bhi hain. Hum dono ko bachalena aur humare rishte ko mazboot rakhna.

Geet and Maan then went to Geet's house. It was really a surprise.

Geet knocked on the door and Rano came.

Rano- GEET!!

Rano came outside and hugged Geet.

Geet- Hi Maa.

Rano looked at Maan.

Rano- Ji, aap kaun?

Geet- Maa, yeh mere boss hain aur.....mere boyfriend bhi hain.

Rano was shocked.

Maan took blessings from Rano.

Maan- Sat Sri Akal.....Maa.

Rano smiled.

Maan- Kya main aapko Maa bula sakta hoon?

Rano smiled.

Rano- Han. Khush raho bete.

Rano looked at Geet and Geet blushed.

Rano whispered- Accha munda aa.

Geet whispered- Main ta vadiaa ki chundi aa.

Geet and Maan were about to step inside.

Rano- Ruko! Haje nahi!

Rano went inside and got some oil and poured some at the door-step and then got the aarti thaali. Rano did Aarti and then put a tikka on Geet and Maan.

Rano- Yeh jodi hamesha khush rahe.

Precap- Geet isn't ready to tell her parents, so she decides to wait.
