He and She, both were now in the city of dreams, Mumbai. The city in which they came running away from their dreams. He landed in a hotel, so did she.
He was in his room, lying on his bed thinking about everything which happened a day before. Then those thoughts flipped to his new friend, Nupur's thoughts.
Mayank:Oh my God! How did I forget to call Nupur?! I must call her now, pata nahi wo kaisi hogi.. Pata nahi wo kahan hogi, wo theek to hogi na!
Mayank picked his phone, and started dialing the number.
Mayank:Hello.
Nupur:Hello, hi Mayank, how are you? Kahan ho?
Mayank:Main theek hoon, hotel mein hoon. Tum kahan ho? Tum theek ho na? Do you need any help?
Nupur:No Mayank, I am ok, I am also in a hotel. I am perfectly fine here. Thank God koi rehne ki jagah mil gayi.
Mayank:Oh, Thank God you are fine. Strange thoughts had almost killed me.
Nupur:Strange thoughts? Kya hua?
Mayank:Nothing, chodo.. Tum batao tum theek se pohonch gayi thi na? Koi dikat toh nahi hui na.
Nupur:Nahi, I am fine. By the way dont you think ab exam poora ho gaya! No more questions please!
Mayank giggled and then answered.
Mayank:I am just worried about you Pagal.
Nupur: Ohk, so kya kar rahe the.
Mayank: Main bas yeh soch raha tha ke main kal ghar se bhaga, isnt that really filmy? Oh my God, I mean films mein aisa hi hota hai na, pehle koi ghar se bhagta hai aur phir bus mein usse koi mil jata hai, jo uska dost banta hai, phir acha dost aur phir..
Nupur:Aur phir?
She was confused but was expecting an answer, "Love"
Mayank:Pyar..
Nupur blushed, but then she controlling her feelings said,
Nupur:Ae.. Mayank, pagal ho gaye ho kya? Me and You? Love!!
Mayank:Love is everywhere!
Nupur:Bas Mayank.
Mayank:Mazak kar raha tha yaar.. Waise tum konse hotel mein ho?
Nupur told him where she was staying.
Mayank:Oh my God!! Tum bhi..
Nupur:Mayank, aik baat poochoon?
Mayank:Yes.. Poocho..
Nupur:Tum aage kya karo ge? Ghar wapis jao ge?
Mayank:Nahi, abhi nahi.. Abhi dad wont be in a good mood..
Nupur:Ok so.. Yahan kya karo ge?
Mayank:Pata nahi, I have no certificates to prove my education here.
Nupur:Same here yaar, I cant get a job here even.
Mayank:Ok lets leave this thing to God!
Nupur:God help those who help themselves Mayank.
Mayank:Chodo na yaar, we'll discuss this tomorrow.
Nupur:Aik baat kahoon Mayank?
Mayank:Han kaho..
Nupur:Mujhe neend aa rahi hai..
Mayank:Aise bol rahi ho jaise mujhe nahi aati..
Nupur:Mayank.. Mujhe sona hai..
Mayank:Toh maine kya tumhari ankhon keh ander toothpick phansaye hue hain? So jao!
Nupur:I love your sense of humor Mayank, ok I am going to sleep, bye.
Mayank:Bye, good night. Sweet dreams.
The phone disconnected and Mayank and Nupur went to sleep soon.
The next day arrived, the sun again shinned bright. The sun brought many new hopes of a new life with it. Nupur woke up early in the morning whereas Mayank was late as usual, Nupur kept on dialing his Number, Mayank even didnt tell her in which room he was staying. Nupur was concerned about Mayank.
Nupur:Mayank kahan hoga? Kahin usse kuch.. Uski tabyet to theek hogi na.. Pata nahi kaisa hoga.. Apna phone bhi nahi utha raha...
Nupur was worried for the next two hours, she kept on walking from here to there, checking her phone again and again.. But Mayank didn't phone her.
After 3 hours, Nupur's mobile finally ringed, and the number was Mayanks'.. Nupur immediately picked the phone up.
Nupur:Hello Mayank, kahan ho tum? Theek ho na? Where were you? I was so worried.
Mayank was yet sleepy..
Mayank:Umm.. Nupur.. Yaar, abhi sirf 11 baje hain and you were worried.. My family used to worry about me when I used to get up early in the morning.
Nupur:Tum bhi na Mayank pagal ho. Well, meet you outside the hotel, 10 minutes mein.
Mayank:Umm.. I wanna sleep more, 11 hi toh baje hain!
Nupur:No you wont! Thats not good for your health. Bahar ao, 10 minutes, otherwise I wont talk to you.. Ever!
Mayank:Dhamki de rahi ho?
Nupur:Wahi samajh lo.
Nupur disconnected the phone.
Mayank:Hello.. Hello! Kat gaya lagta hai.. Ah!! Lagta hai ab uthna hi pade ga!
Mayank got freshened up and went out of the hotel. There Nupur was standing, she looked totally amazing. Mayank was mesmerized seeing such a beauty. She waved at Mayank seeing him coming. Mayank didn't wave her back but kept on looking her. Nupur came to him.
Nupur:Mayank!! Kahan ho?! Are you ok? What happened?
Mayank:Ab.. Ab han Nupur.. Kya hua?
Nupur:Tumhe kya hua? Pagal ho gaye ho! Aise kya dekh rahe the?!
Mayank:Tumhe!
Nupur:Pagal ho..
Mayank:Aj tum bohot achi lag rahi ho Nupur.
Nupur:Dont flirt Mayank!
Mayank:Arre wah.. Ab kisi ki tareef karna bhi jurm ho gaya!
Nupur:Acha wo sab chodo, I am here to discuss a serious matter.
Mayank:Han bolo..
Nupur:Dekho Mayank, we have no proofs of our education so we cant get any job right?
Mayank:Right..
Nupur:Toh ham kya karen ge?
Mayank:Sirf aik idea hai!
Nupur:Kya?
Mayank:Apne ghar se certificates le aate hain!
Nupur:Wah wah wah! Kya baat hai tumhari Mayank. Waise Idea boora nahi hai, aisa hoga na, keh jab ham ghar jayen ge, hamara parents aarti karein ge hamari aur greh pravesh bhi karwayen ge! Yah right!
Mayank:Arre, tum har cheez ko sirf aik hi nazariye se kyun dekhti ho..
Nupur:Matlab?
Mayank:Matlab jab ghee seedhi ungli se na nikle toh ungli tehri karni padhti hai.
Nupur:Kuch samajh nahi aya.
Mayank:Ham dono chup kar apne ghar mein jayen ge, aur choron ki tarah certificates nikal keh wapis Mumbai!
Nupur:Chori? Oh my God! Ab tumhare saath reh kar mujhe yeh bhi karna hoga?
Mayank:Arre, apni cheez lene mein kaisi chori!
Nupur:Yeh bhi hai yaar..
Mayank:Toh aj sham ki bus se, Simla! Aur phir certificates le kar wapis Mumbai.!
Nupur:Waise, maine life mein kabhi pehle aisa koi kaam nahi kiya!
Mayank:Ghar se kya roz bhagti thi?
Nupur:Nahi!
Mayank:Jaise wo pehli baar kiya tha.. Yeh bhi pehli baar karo! Maza aayega! My life is getting interesting day by day!
