The doorbell rang and with it my heart pounded faster. The bell that made my heart chime was here.The person for whom I lived was here.Maan was here.My feet started moving of their own accord leading me to him.Gravity was pulling me towards him.I turned the corner and broke into a run.I couldn't wait any longer.I had to erase the distances between us.They would kill me and I was sure he felt the same way.Finally,I reached the door and pulled it open and there he was.My personal angel from the heaven.Maan.As soon as I saw him,I was relieved.it felt as if the worst pain ever had gone, not that I was in any pain before.He smirked as if he could read my thoughts.His one smile sent tingles through out my body,in atleast 10 different places but the most prominent place was my heart.I leapt forward and wrapped my arms around him,smelling his scent,feeling his arms around me.I could stay there all day just hugging him.This was my heaven.

MAAN MOVES HIS MOUTH TOWARDS HER EAR AND WHISPERS:

You missed me so much?

HE TRIES TO PULL AWAY FROM HER TO LOOK AT HER FACE BUT SHE PULLS HIM BACK.

Geet:Where are you going so quick?Stay here.You don't know how nice this feels.

Maan:I think I do.But you didn't answer my question?

Geet:Yes,I missed you that much.You have no idea.I was dying every minute.

MAAN INTERLOCKS HIS FINGERS WITH HERS AND PULLS BACK AND LOOKS AT HER.

Maan:So was i.Dont worry,I promise I'll never leave you again.

Geet:Good.I wont be so forgiving next time.

Maan:You know I had to go,there wasn't an option,my cousin had a baby.

Geet:I know.Now come sit down.Describe the baby to me.

I want to know everything about this baby.Everything.I feel so bad.I don't know anything about his family,I haven't even met them but im getting married to him in 3 days.Am I doing wrong? Should I wait?

Maan:Well,heres a picture of her.Shes called Imaan and is so cute.When she smiles,it feels as if the world lights up.Her rosy cheeks and her pale white skin would make anyone fall at her feet.

Geet:You really love her,Don't you?

Maan:Yes.But when you see her,you'll instantly fall in love with her.

Geet:I cant wait.

Maan:Well,its only 3 days.Not that long.

Not long for him!! But for me,it would last a lot more than 3 days,more like 10 days.Even getting through an hour felt like a lifetime.How would I get through these 3 days? I had to think of something to occupy myself.But what?

Maan:Geet,Whats wrong?

Before I could even open my mouth and tell him everything,all the reasons for my troubles,My worries,Auntie,Uncle and Meera came.Talk about Bad timing.Would it have killed them to come 5 minutes later?

Uncle:So youre both here? And we were looking everywhere for you?

Auntie:I told you shed be here.But no,You didn't agree.I mean,these are joined at the hip.Its like they've been superglued together.

Meera:Good one Mum.

Geet:Shut up,Meera.And were not joined at the hip,we haven't even spoken these past few days.

Meera:Yes and I know how hard its been for you.You'd forgotten to smile.You were always sad.

I swear as soon as we were alone,I was going to kill her.Why was she doing this?Couldnt she just shut up!! I don't blurt her secrets out do i? I keep quiet so she should aswell.But its not as if it was a lie either.i had forgotten to smile and was always sad.It felt as if my reason to live had gone.And now he's back,I was much happier.Oh god,Why doesn't anyone warn you about the side-effects of love BEFORE you fall in love?
