Kirty almost dropped her phone in shock at the voice and the angry burst that came through her phone. Her heart skipped a beat as her mind registered just who had called her.

"You knew! Didn't you?" He asked again, his eyes stared at the newspaper, the picture of Maan Singh Khurana and his wife Geet Handa now, Geet Maan Singh Khurana. He mildly surprised when he read the news of Maan Singh Khurana's marriage but nothing in his life ever shocked him so much as the name of Maan's bride! Nothing could compare to the shock and betrayal he felt when he read the bride's name.

"I thought you were still in abroad. You know I would have called you first thing if I knew how to get in touch with you" Kirty lied smoothly.....

OUT OF DARKNESS

There is a hard feeling deep down in my heart
It stifles my soul and tears me apart
It covers my senses and makes me feel cold.
The dark that surrounds me has taken its hold.

The tears keep on flowing they roll down my cheek.
To live is too painful it's making me weak.
Each night there's a nightmare instead of a dream
but my voice is so worthless I can't even scream

There's no point to night time not even to day
Sometimes I just wish I could take it away
But outside the darkness a light I can see
Someone is out there and waiting for me

into the shadows a hand takes me hold.
It pulls me from darkness and takes me from cold
Two arms wrap around me and silence my woes
A friend sent from somewhere in a world full of foes

Someone who's been there and won their own fight.
He's come through the darkness and shown me the light.
And although I've not met you and may never do
My life is much brighter, its all cos of you.

I'd like to say thankyou to you and your band
Music that found and took hold of my hand
You gave me the strength to get through the cold
Gerard, you've saved me and showed me my soul.

If ever you feel that you cannot go on
remember your light was one that was shone
Out of the darkness you took me to see
That if I have nothing I still have me

Okay, so I was planning on being nice and wanted to post a preview of one sweet maaneet scene but after reading all the comments from you all which mostly consisted with one question "Who is HE"..... well this little preview might somewhat satisfy all the curious readers - maybe not 😕

Anyways the Poem was posted by Shruti who had read it somewhere so I am posted it here with the preview so you all could read because it fits perfectly with Geet's characterization..... Thanks once again Shruti for posting this lovely poetry....

Alright, now comes the most important part.... I need every ones help; every reader who reads novels! I want you all to suggest few novels that Geet should read..... novels through which Geet can learn about life, love and family..... basically Geet should grow with each novel, even if she is learnning simple things like friendship or more serious learning of ethics, morality lessons, sharing, and just anything that will make her want to go out there in the real world.... experience everything that she was denied...... So please, it would be a real big help to me if every reader suggested at least one book and summarize about what Geet could learn by reading that book..... Will be looking forward to reading every ones suggestions, if you feel more comfortable with sending me a pm with your suggestions then please do.... the credit will still be given to the one who gave the suggestion......
