Some time later my grandpa's friend who lived in Canada told him that my ex-nanny Pammi lived with my father and had a son named Dev. My grand parents were least concerned.

Pammi was given the apartment and her allowance was to continue as always.

All the assets were transferred in my name. Vicky never had any problem he already inherits too much from his father's side and there too he shares many things me as my mother was his father's sister.

Dev had always been a jerk. The amount Pammi received was huge as compared to her humble ways, this spoiled Dev he soon got addicted to gambling, neither Grandpa realized it nor did ever DM thought about it,

She eloped with Dev and appeared one fine day with Dev and made an entry as the Khurana Bahu,

I don't know how but Vicky was very sympathetic towards Dev, he supported him blindly may be he was not aware of all the facts.

I too was packing my bags to leave when Nakul our house help came running informing me that DM has had a heart attack.

So I had to postpone my departure, and 15 days back DM called me and instructed me to find where Vicky has gone, and also told me that Dev was in Canada, with Pammi, Kamya and NT.

He stopped the Jeep and took the water bottle and drank his fill, and stood resting his back on the bonnet, she came out took the bottle from his hand and emptied its contents relishing the last drops. Then she looked at him expecting him to continue. He looked at her and said "I am sorry Geet"

G (surprised): for what?

M: only if I would have given him the money he would have never come in your life hunting for it.

She placed the bottle in the jeep and came near him, placing her palms on his fisted hand, he looked at her

G: its not your fault Maan, the only mistake is that I am a female, if it was not for me it would have been some other girl, and if it would not have been Dev it would have been some random guy, the way my family was adamant to marry me it would have happened anyways.

M: but Geet

G: no, Maan today also the people who are really responsible for my fate are fine with it, and you who have appeared as a savior is feeling guilty out of not mistake of yours.

He jerked his hand and angrily sat on the driver's seat she followed and took her seat.
