Udhay: (yelled) "naheeeeee!"
He turned his back towards Nupur with his hand covering his ears.
Nupur: "hannnnnnn!" she moved in front of him and removed his hands from his ears.
Udhay: "nooo wayyy!!"
Sam: " but you see that is exactly THE way!"
Udhay helplessly looked at Gunjan, "nahheee ,naheee, naheee! Gunjan keh do ye jhoot hai!"
Gunjan: "han han han! Udhay bhaiya ye bilkul sach hai!"
Mayank stood aside , rolling his eyes and getting irritated by Udhay's constant groaning.
Since morning Gunjan, Nupur and Sam were trying to persuade Udhay that he couldn't meet C.J. on valentine day because according to the traditions "dulha" cant meet "dulhan" once the ceremonies have started.
Nupur was trying to console him, : " Udhay bhaiya aap dulhe hain na! You have to follow the rules."
Everytime they called Udhay "dulha" Mayank couldn't help but snort which earned him a glare from both his wife and sister in law.
Udhay: " Mayank jiju aap kaho na inhen! Akhir mujhe kis baat ke saza mil rahe hai?"
Udhay had his hand on his forehead in a complete *majnoo * style.
Mayank: " how about you just cut the crap Udhay!"
Udhay made a sad face and looked at Nupur .
Nupur: " Udhay bhaiya app bhe kis se baat kr rahe hain! You see to understand the importance of Valentine day one need to be ROMANTIC like you."
Mayank raised a questioning brow at Nupur, "Excuse me?"
Nupur: " Udhay Bhiya aap choren na! You go call C.J. while…"
Mayank: (cutting in) "while we can continue where we left of this morning. What say Mrs. Nupur Sharma?"
The knowing smiles of Gunjan, Sam grin and the memories of the morning kiss made Nupur blush.
Udhay: " han okay! You and jiju continue!"
Nupur looked at Udhay with a complete look of disbelief on her face.
Mayank: " see Nupur ab to Udhay ne bhe keh dia! Besides I guess I just got prove that my wife is not satisfied! I will have to work harder to prove how romantic I can be!"
Nupur was going all red .
Sam: " yeah you both carry on while I will go find my valentine!"
Gunjan: " oh I can tell you where Ria is Sam!"
Sam groaned and Mayank, Nupur and Gunjan laughed. The spell was broken but Nupur could still feel Mayank's eyes on her and she felt her heart beat quicken.

Nupur was caught up the whole day by the arrival of Mr. And Mrs. Bushan. As she was the eldest to naturally her parents gave her all the responsibility and she only went upstairs to change in the evening for the dance party organized in the hotel for the special day.
She had missed Mayank but had not even got time to talk to him. She went upstairs to find he was getting ready for the evening. She was wondering what to wear when her eyes caught a package lying in her cupboard. She picked it up and opened it to find a red saree along with a card.
The card read:
Time stands still when our arms entwine ….and your
heart beats with mine..
And when you smile,
The whole world stops and stares for awhile…..
Cause you are amazing just the way you are….
Happy valentines day….
She picked up the saree and she found a note with it.
I want you to to wear this saree fro me tonight ….
p.s. Before you call me unromantic again… WILL YOU BE MY VALENTINE?

Nupur hugged the saree and she realized her eyes were shining with unshed tears. She loved her husband and she wanted to tell him but she wanted it to be a special day. Time when she could be alone with him…. She heard the washroom door open and quickly hiding the saree , smiled at Mayank and went to freshen up.

Mayank was changing into his shirt when he realized its button had come off. He found the needle but was unable to remember when was the last time he ever mended anything. He was struggling with it and this is how Nupur find him. His face portrayed irritation. She smiled.

Mayank turned to see Nupur with her hand out stretched. As he was already wearing the shirt so she moved closer to him. Her closeness was like a drug.. effecting his nerves…he wanted to pull her closer and enclose her in his arms… he wanted to shut the world out… to forget about everyone else except his wife…he wanted to confess his love…..but… (Nupur was already done with her work..) but..this was not the right time…..
Nupur looked up and smiled at him…their eyes were filled with love for each other…

Gunjan was glancing at Sam flirting with girls. She felt a pang of unhappiness engulf her….she felt jealously flow through her body whenever Sam touched any of them….she had alredy realized her love for him..but he was different…he was an outgoing, flirt while she was an innocent girl completely unaware of anything except the fact that she loved him… from the core of her heart she loved him…..

Sam saw Gunjan looking at him….everyone was wearing red He was doing it all for her benefit…he loved her and now he wanted to know her feelings…. Being a man of much experience may not have prepared him for innocence of Gunjan but his experience had taught him one thing… if a girl is jealous she surely loves you….

she looked up at Sam's smiling face and outstretched hand.
Her face lit up and she placed her hand in his….

Mayank was standing beside Mr. Bushan listening to him when he saw Nupur descending the stairs like a princess all attired in the red saree he had gifted her…. He excused himself and moved towards her to receive her. her hair were falling down on her shoulders just the way Mayank liked and she was wearing the locket he had gifted her .
He moved her towards the dance floor and as if in a trance …..
He enclosed her in his arms and danced with her …
Nupur felt as if his arms was the only place she belonged to… the only place she felt safe…
She placed her head on his chest and danced along….

Not only Mayank, I too was surprised by Nupur's display of affection…It was nice to see though!! I'm glad that Mayank's heart won over his mind in this issue…thinking too much is not good in matters of love…
" my wife seems to be never satisfied nowadays." – Mayu is becoming very naughty these days!! Poor Nupur….
