Part 6
Mayank and Nupur had heard the most bizaare plans from their respective parents a day before and both having decided against it and had started their new week as usual, just like any other week without thinking much about it now. Mayank had left for Pune for a Site inspection for a factory and so didn't get much time to talk about it and eventually forgot about making it clear to his Mom about his decision. Nupur was back to her office work too and she had already decided that she'll break this news to Bauji on the 7th and last day itself and was way too much busy because apart from work, life excited her all the more always for its small moments and new exciting stuff that it presented everyday in small packets whether it be a new movie or a new collection of dress range or even something related to her work since she was an interior designer so she had the habit of Shop lifting more than just Shopping.
After 3 days Nupur came home late since after the office she had gone with some of her collegues to buy some exclusive art pieces that would help her later in her work and had brought some exclusive pieces for her own home too and was gladly showing it to Gunjan and Bauji saying, "Kaisa hai Bauji, achcha hai naa?" proudly smiling at her choice
Bauji replied, "bahut achcha hai Beta" giving her a pat and asking, "par tum isse kahaan rakhogi?" Bauji knew even if he didn't ask she will surely elaborate things she must have already imagined in detail but he knew that Nupur would love it being asked so he always joined in with Nupur and Gunjan in their excitement as much as he could
Nupur replied smiling, "Hmm...Maine socha hai ki main isse apne kamre mein rakhungi woh side table hai naa window ke paas wahaan,Pink colour ke curtains ke background pe ye Superbly suit karega"
Bauji more of trying to ask her opinion about her decision regarding marriage than about the art piece asked, "waise tum yeh kuch dino baad Sharma House mein le ja sakti ho apne saath agar yeh tumhe itna hi pasand hai toh, hai naa.... wahaan par isse kahaan rakhogi yeh bhi soch lena"
Nupur replied without much attention, "Sharma House, kyun Bauji wahaan kyun le jaao apne saath, Shilpa Aunty ko aisa kuch chahiye tha kya ya Sharma Uncle ko?"
Bauji trying to make her realize now said,"arrey nahi, jab tumhari aur Mayank ki shaadi hogi toh..."
Nupur and Gunjan's gave shocked reactions to each other and then to Bauji making his words to trail and he looked at them both with surprise when Nupur replied in a hurry, "Bauji aapne 7 dino ka waqt diya hai naa toh bata hi dungi main tab naa, abhi mujhe bahut neend aa rahi hai aur main bahut thak gayi hoon chal Gunjan isse mere room mein rakhne mein help kar naa......Good night Bauji"
Nupur and Gunjan left for Nupur's room keeping Bauji guessing over her reply

Shilpa Sharma had called up Mayank to ask about his health and the work and had ended up giving the full update of herself and his Dad since Mayank had to be relieved at knowing about his parents first. Mayank Sharma missed his mother's sweet conversation and relaxing words and his father's silent way of handling things even more calmly than what he had learned till now. After having talked with Mayank, Mr. and Mrs. Sharma had had conversation about Mayank-Nupur where both got convinced more about their ideas and Shilpa Sharma had already started with her arrangements and preparations that she thought were necessary.

Nupur and Gunjan were back to Nupur's room in a hurry and Nupur knew that Gunjan wanted to ask her a lot of questions to her and so she did by asking, "Di, aapne Bauji ko kyun nahi bataya?"
Nupur started explaining, "Kyunki agar maine abhi kuch kaha toh Bauji maan toh jaayenge lekin phir mujhe convince karne ki koshish karenge, aakhir Mayank unka favourite jo hai.....waise bhi Bauji ne waqt diya haina 7 din ka, toh katne de 7 din"
Gunjan understanding what Nupur said was actually true, because Bauji never saw anything wrong in Mayank ever and it was very difficult to point out mistakes in him, the only strong reason Nupur had was his rudeness towards her and the fact that she simply didn't wanna accept such a relationship where they wouldn't stand each other and and how was she supposed to spend her life like this.....this reason she was completely sure of....she explained it to Gunjan who agreed to her valid point and wanted to support her completely but she could sense it already that it will go ahead irrespective of what Nupur had thought and was somewhat willing for it too in a tiny corner of her heart but never expressed it. She wanted to be rational too, for her sister's choices mattered the most to her, so she suggested, "Di, achcha hoga naa agar tum already kisiko dhoond lo in 4 dino mein taaki yeh sab solve ho jaaye and tumhari wish bhi puri ho jaaye tumhare Prince Charming ki?"
Nupur exclaimed, "ByGod Gunjan, mujhe Prince Charming jaroor dhoondna hai par blind date par nahi jaana hai ki in 4 dino mein koi yuhi mil jaayega" making Gunjan surprised by her answer and continued, "Main koi Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke ki Juhi Chaawla toh nahi hoon naa, ki directly Aamir Khan ke ghar par pahoonch jaaongi? " showing a dramatic helpless face to her
Gunjan replied, "Di, tum bhi kuch bhi bol deti ho" laughing
Nupur said, "Wahi toh soch rahi hoon kya karoon, ab toh Bauji maan bhi jaayein par kuch mahino mein kisi aur ke liye bhi yahi kahengi ki yeh achcha hai, aur agar phir shayad woh phir Mayank Sarma hi ko....." keeping her hands on her mouth thinking of possibilities
Gunjan replied, "Toh kahaan dhoondogi apne Prince Charming ko?"
Nupur replied, "Dhoondna toh usse mujhe chahiye par tu chinta mat kar, meri 6th sense kehti hai ki woh mujhe mil hi jaayega aur tu toh jaanti hai meri 6th sense kabhi galat nahi hoti" smiling big, gladly
Gunjan said, "All the best Di" with a half confused half worried look still smiling to Nupur

Mayank returned home after 5 days in the afternoon and had a good sleep only to get up at dinner time having food and talking about all work related things to his Dad, Mayank said smiling, "Kaam bahot achche se ho gaya Dad, smoothly....aur mujhe nayi cheezein seekhne mein mazaa aa rah tha, yeh nayi type ki dealing thi, maine pehli bar khud inspection and analysis karke site finalise ki hai...and i love naye challenges, to solve problems...as they say No gain without pain" and looked contended from Sameer Sharma's proud face for him when suddenly Shilpa Sharma spoke out of the blue, "Dekha, Nupur Bhushan kitni lucky hai tere liye"
Mayank had completely forgotten about her 7 day's condition for him and this was not an achievement that she could credit anyone for so he spoke now wanting to make it very clear, "Maa tum ab tak wahi soch rahi ho?...hum mein koi baat similar nahi hai!"
Shilpa Sharma spoke with a smile, "Yeh to bahut achchi baat hai naa, Opposites attract beta"
Mayank was surprised by her sudden remark and replied, "Maa, team 2 Tennis Player ki achchi lagti hai, ...football player ki aur tennis player ki nahi"
Shilpa Sharma glared at him narrowing her eyes and said, "Sure.....par tumhein on the feild team nahi balki off the feild jodi banani hai jo Tennis Player aur Football player ki bahut achchi lagegi mere hisaab se ....mera matlab maine toh kabhi dhyaan hi nahi diya but aaj tumne kaha hai toh i think ki it will be a great combination...Hai naa!!!" looking at Sameer Sharma and giving him a glad smile who smiled in agreement knowing her intentions
Mayank was shaking his head in disbelieve and smilingly said, "Maa, pata nahi aapke upar kahaan se Nupur Bhushan ka bhoot sawaar ho gaya hai, mujhe samajh nahi aata ki....."
Shilpa Sharma replied, "bas...."showing her hand and continuing, "yeh arguments naa apne dimaag mein karna....mujhse kar ke koi faayda nahi hai, abhi, 2 din baaki hai, parso tak sochkar aaram se bataana...aur haan.....haan kehna, okay Mayu, now no further discussions on dinner table...." speaking like a strict teacher scolding a child.
She made Mayank Sharma totally shut up but his brains had started working overtime again.....thinking......
