Angad stood on the other side of Kripa, shocked and jealous. Kripa, after talking to Arjun was a long time turned to cut the cake. She picked up the knife, and then noticed that Angad wasn't around her. She noticed him taking away with someone. He looked at her and then back at the man he was talking to. Placing the knife back down she walked to him. Then holding his arm she dragged him over to the table. Holding his arm with one hand, she cut the cake with her other hand. Everyone clapped and sung as Kripa cut the cake. After she was done cutting a perfect triangle she lifted it to Angad's mouth and feed him. Angad took the cake from Kripa's hand and fed her as well, the only difference was Angad also covered her lips and part of her cheeks with cake. Kripa wined hitting Angad's arm. Angad smiled watching her trying to wipe her face without getting her sari dirty. After a while Angad cleaned her face for her and kissed her cheeks once more. This time getting a wink from Saamiya and a smile from Karan. Kripa then continued feeding everyone else, and after some time the place was cleaned up. Angad was once again busy at the bar with Karan and a few other guys. Kripa smiled looking at him. The background music changed as wind blew thought Kripa's hair.

Angad's eyes caught her stunning beauty. His hands automatically placed the drink he was holding on the counter and stood. Kripa smiled at him and when noticed him coming towards her, turned shyly. Smiling to herself she tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. She felt a heavy hand settle on her back, she smiled and turned. Her smile disappeared when she saw Arjun standing in front of her.

"Arjun?" she said disappointed.
"Tum kisi aur ko expect kar rahi thi?" He asked taking his hand back.

"Yeah, No.. I was just…" she looked behind him to see Angad turning around just as disappointed.

"Kripa, are you ok?"

"Yeah…" Arjun shook his head at her.

"Hey handsome!" Angad heard someone taking to him. He turned, surprised to see Nisha.

"Hey beautiful!" he replied hugging her. "Where have you been?!"

"Busy as usual!"

Angad wrapped his arm around his shoulder, and they both walked to Kripa and Arjun.

"Hi Nisha." Kripa quickly hugged her and then stood beside Angad holding his hand.

"Happy birthday Kripa."

Nisha and Kripa smiled at each other then there was a moment of silence with soft music playing in the background. Saamiya was sitting on the swing across the room with Karan by her side, most likely they were discussing about their kid. Dilip and Naina were taking to Nishtay and Damani who had just entered the party. Other couples like Josh and Zaniab were dancing.

"Oh by the way this is Arjun, Arjun Nisha." Kripa introduced to the two to each other. And they just smiled each other.

After a few seconds the silence started to torture them. "Nisha lets get you a drink!" They both left leaving Arjun and Kripa alone.

"Can I have the pleasure of this dance with you?" Kripa looked at Angad who was taking Nisha to the floor.

"Of course," she smiled and walked to the dance floor with Arjun. Although Kripa was Dancing with Arjun and Angad with Nisha they looked at each other not their partners.

"Angad your getting jealous!" Nisha teased him.

Angad rolled his eyes in a very annoyed manner. "I'm not jealous!" He swung Nisha around so she couldn't see his expression. When they were steady again Angad smirked. "As it is, Angad Khanna is never jealous of anyone or anything. Everything he has is the best!"

"Um… too much confidence. But it's true you do have the best dancing partner in the room."

"Well," he turned her again. "I don't think that's quite true."

"Why?"

"Well you know I'm only dancing with you because…" he decided to shut-up!

"Why Angad?!" It was her turn to smirk now. "I must say, Kripa is very luck to have you."

Arjun turned Kripa towards Angad.

Angad's eyes softened this now, and his smile was also very soft. "No Nisha, that's not true. I'm very lucky to have her." And his voice was even softer. He looked at Kripa who was busy with Arjun. Of course Angad didn't know she had heard everything. But Angad continued getting angry upon seeing her all smiles with Arjun. The music changed, to the song Pal Do Pal by Adnan Sami. Kripa and Angad bumped into each other. Nisha smiled and went to Arjun.

"Can I have this dance with you, Kirpa I hope you don't mind."

"Of course not." Kripa smiled and Arjun held Nisha's hand.

Kripa turned to walk off stage, when Angad caught her pallu. Kripa turned. "Do you think I can have this dance with you, stranger."

Kripa looked into his soft, brown eyes. Then placing her hand into his she answered. "Do I have another choice?" As Angad pulled Kripa forward the lights dropped and one stop light held Kripa and Angad. Their eyes were locked. Angad pulled Kripa forward and turned around with her, gracefully. Although Kripa wanted to take her eyes away she couldn't. She looked right at him, the music changed once again this time to 'Suna Suna' from Krishna Cottage. The change in music distracted both Kripa and Angad and the looked away. Angad's hold also loosed and he suddenly left Kripa. But when he saw Arjun leaving Nisha, he grabbed Kripa's hand again. Kripa smiled a naughty smile.

"Angad." He looked down into her dark, teasing eyes. "Do you smell something burning?"

He rolled his eyes. "I hate you Kripa."

"Really?"

"Yeah really!"

"Tum gussa main bauth cute lagtha ho!" She ruffled his hair.

"Main gussa main nahie ho!"

"Right, tum jealous ho. Phir bhi cute lagtha ho!"

"Kripa!" he said helpless.

Kripa wrinkled her nose with a smile from ear to ear. Even more annoyed now he looked away but still held her. Kripa smiled to the side of his face and from the other side she saw Karan with the DJ. As he left the song once again changed to "Jiya Dhadak Dhadak Jaye" Karan winked at Kripa, she smiled back.

"Tujhe Dekh, Dekh Soona, Tujhe Dekh, Dekh Soona. Tujhe Dekh kar hai Jagna, maina yeh zindgani, saang tera betani, tujhme basi hai meri jaan hai, Jiya Dhadak Dhadak, Jiya Dhadak Dhadak, Jiya Dhadak Dhadak Jaye. Jiya Dhadak Dhadak, Jiya Dhadak Dhadak, Jiya Dhadak Dhadak Jaye." Kripa sand loud enough for Angad to hear. He looked at her with tears in his eyes. She smiled and pulled him out of the crowd outside where it was pouring. Kripa looked at him and nodded her head. "Tum roota hau bilkul cute nahie lagatha. Aur tum bauth emotional ho."

He pulled her forward, "Because I love…" and hugged her tightly. It rained harder. Kripa and Angad moved slightly away from the rain.

Someone stood on the other side of the door angry, so angry the glass in their hand broke.

Kripa stood in front of the mirror drying her hair somewhere still lost in Angad's eyes his arms. Her eyes lifted to the mirror again and she looked at herself. Angad once again flashed in front of her eyes and now shyly she turned around. Kripa crashing into Angad. For a moment she stood in front of him, her face berried in his chest. When she realized she was doing still standing she lifted her head. She bounced back into Angad's chest realizing her earrings were stuck to his shirt. Now carefully, Kripa leaned into Angad and lifted her hands to take her earring off. However Angad held her hand.

"I like you close to me, Kripa."

Kripa blushed, glad she wasn't looking up at him. "Angad please, it's really late we should be sleeping." He sighed and unhooked the earring from his shirt and slowly pushed her away. His lower lips pulled out, and a pleading look in his eyes. Kripa rolled her eyes and walked away from him. As her hand covered the handle of the door Angad called her again. She turned and Angad took a step closer to her. The door softly closed behind Kripa. Kripa reached for the switch to turn the other lights on but instead Angad grabbed her hand and took one more step towards her, and then another. Then he took Kripa's hand and made her switch the lights off; took another step towards her.

"Angad are you drunk?" Kirpa stood on her toes into the door.

Angad bended towards Kripa and kissed her cheek; her ear. "No," he whispered.

"Good then let me go." Before Angad could capture Kripa's lips she turned, almost hitting her nose into the door.

Angad moved her wet hair off her neck, to the other side and kissed her neck softly.

"Angad please," Kripa whispered, now breathless. Angad lips stopped, now pressed into her neck. Kripa reached for the handle of the door and then pushed it down to open it. Angad left Kripa and she walked out.

About thirty minutes later when Kripa came back with a mug of coffee in her hand. She looked around and didn't see Angad anywhere. Placing the mug on the table she walked out and headed towards the study.

In the dark room Angad sat on the sofa. Kripa walked to him and kneeled on the carpet beside a sleeping Angad. Slightly hesitant, rather scared not wanting to wake him up, Kripa placed her head in Angad's lap. After sometime she sat down beside him, observing him. Then slowly she placed her hand in his hand and closed it. Angad's eyelids fluttered and he slowly opened his eyes. Kripa opened her hand to pull it back but Angad held it in his. Kripa drew a breath and placed herself into his arms.

"Angad are you okay?"

"Yeah," his voice was soft yet sad. Angad sat down on the floor and placed his head in Kripa's lap. For a long time no one said anything, Kripa started to get worried now.

"Angad please talk to me."

"Kripa, Prithvi…" Angad bit his lip and broke down.
