Part 15

Daanish is confused. But he is also happy. He is alone in his house. There is no one telling him that he is undead. No one to take his furniture away.

He thinks of his parents, his beloved brother, his Panchhi....all are upset with him. Maaya is dead too.

Pia. It is all because of her.

But I am not alive either. Maaya ne toh yehi kaha tha. Aur yeh bhi that I did not get my wishes fulfilled because I was bad.

Kya main bura tha? Kya galat kiya maine?

Kuch galat nahin kiya.

Aur ab main is baare mein nahin sochoonga.

Now I will only think of sandwiches.

He goes down to the kitchen and makes himself all the sandwiches possible and starts eating.

There is astonishment on Chaand's face, followed by puzzlement, trailed by disgust. He sprays out whatever amount of the liquid he has not swallowed and gasps for breath. Impatient with the amount of time Chaand is taking to get the restorative blue liquid he had asked for, Abhay comes into his room. He stops when he sees Chaand choking.

Abhay: Dad? What's wrong?

(He sees the overturned goblet.)

(angrily) What the hell have you done Dad!!! Aapko kaha kisne tha use peene ko??

Chaand (choking): Sorry...maine gaaya bhi "Pi loon"....but koi reply nahin mila toh main pi hi gaya...

Abhay: Huh!!! You know what it was?

Chaand (still coughing): I think I have a good idea of what it was...

Haseena (suddenly appearing at the doorway): Yahaan kya ho raha hai? What is going on?! Tell. Me. NOW!

Angad finally catches up with Kabir.

Angad: Look, dude, tum please jo bhi karo, dhyaan se. Tumne Pia ko already bahut hurt kiya hai. Ab gadbad mat karna.

Kabir: I know. Tabhi maine sab ek letter mein likh diya hai. Kal use doonga. I hope ise padh ke mujhe woh maaf kar de.

Angad: Aur agar nahin kiya?

Kabir: Nahin kiya toh.......I don't know. I will wait for her.

[Angad's phone rings. He listens in amazement.]

Angad: Chal.

Kabir: Kahaan?

Angad: Tera mood theek karne!

[They both go off.]

(lots of typos coz I'm sleepy...but Chaand was about to explode so had to let the poor guy spit out the disgusting stuff.😆)
