Geet's sleep got disturbed by the sunlight peeping through the curtains. She woke up, and looked at the person sleeping on the couch.

She got up and went over to Maan to check on him.

Geet: "He looks so innocent while he is sleeping. Wait, what are you thinking? Every person looks innocent while they are sleeping" she said and then went up to her wardrobe, picked out her saree, and headed off to the washroom.

Geet and Maan had an arrange marriage. Maan had no interest in getting married. His Daadima chose the girl. He hated the girl. He hated all girls. He didn't trust them. All girl's did was cry and expect the boy to save them. He had to get married. His Daadima request Maan to, and Maan couldn't say no to his Daadima. So he said yes, and they got married yesterday. The Suhaag Raat didn't turn out like one. Maan just went to sleep without saying a word, and so did Geet.

20 minutes later, Maan woke up. He took time to figure out where he was. He looked around him, only to see the decorated room. He was angry. Why did he have to get married? He went up to the wardrobe to pick out his business attire, and then went up to the washroom. It was locked.

Maan: "Geet! Hurry up!" he exclaimed angrily

The washroom door unlocked and came out Geet drying her hair. Geet looked up at Maan.

Geet: "Sorry I took so long!" she said and sat down in front of the dressing table

Maan just looked at Geet.

Geet was wearing a red saree with a white, heavy border. One word. Beautiful.

Maan was still mesmerized by the beauty of Geet. He watched Geet drying her hair, but he got disturbed by the sound of a knock.

Maan regained his senses.

Maan: "What am I doing?" he thought to himself disgusted of his own actions. He then looked at the door.

It was Daadima.

Daadima: "I just wanted to let you guys know that breakfast is ready" she said and smiled

Geet and Maan nodded and Daadima headed back downstairs. Geet then looked at Maan.

Geet: "Are you going to office?" she asked

Maan: "What does it look like?" he said in anger

Geet: "Sorry. I didn't know I couldn't ask questions in this house" she answered back

Maan then looked at Geet in shock

Maan: "How dare you!" he said looking at Geet even angrily

Geet: "Maan Singh Khurana ko kisi ne nahi ulta jawab diya!" she mimicked his voice and laughed out loud

Maan: "STAND UP!" he said loudly

Geet immediately stood up.

Maan: "I told you to say no to Daadima for this alliance. Why didn't you?" he asked looking at Geet in fury

Geet: "Because Daa --"

Maan then grabbed her by the wrist and pulled Geet towards him.

Maan: "Tell me. WHY?" he demanded

Geet: "Because Daad --"

Maan: "Why? Huh? WHY! You have no answer do you? Well obviously. Because you want money. You just saw I was rich and I lived in such a big house you thought you could marry me and take over my wealth. Well get one thing in your thick head, it's not going to happen" he hissed

Geet shook her head

Geet: "Thats not it!" she said

Maan: "Of course it's it!" he said and held her hair and held her wrists with his other hand. He pulled her hair and twisted her wrists as hard as he could.

Maan: "I'm right aren't I?" he whispered angrily

Geet didn't answer, but winced in pain

Maan: "I'm right aren't I?" he said hardening his grip on her wrists and pulling her hair even harder

Geet: "Your hurting me" she whispered, and a tear escaped her eye.

Maan realized what he just done, and let her go. Pushing her hard so Geet fell on the floor. Maan then walked away and was about to go downstairs. But Daadima stopped him.

Daadima: "I need to talk to you" she said and led Maan into her room before Maan could respond.

Daadima explained to Maan how he was doing a wrong thing and Daadima finally convinced Maan to go say sorry to Geet.

Maan went to his bedroom to talk to Geet, but Geet wasn't there. He saw the balcony door slightly ajar. He went up to the door and entered the balcony and saw Geet leaning against the railing, in her own thoughts.

Maan: "Geet" he said

Geet broke out of her trance and looked at Maan and smiled

Geet: "You didn't go to office?" she asked

Maan: "I need to say something" he said ignoring her question

Geet: "Bolo" she said sweetly

Maan: "Look, I'm sorry about what I did earlier. I shouldn't have did it. I hurt you a lot didn't I?" he said and looked at her wrists which had turned red.

Geet: "No! It's okay. And my wrists are fine now. Don't worry" she said, smiled and was about to exit the balcony when Maan held her by the wrists. Gently this time.

Maan walked over to Geet.

Maan: "Kis mittee ki bani ho tum? Of course this hurts!" he said and led her back into the bedroom. He got out the First Aid kit from the drawer and went up to Geet, and applied ointment to Geet's wrists.

Geet looked out Maan and smiled at his actions.

Geet: "If I need to go through pain to get him to love me, then that's fine" she thought to herself then suddenly winced in pain.

Maan looked up at Geet.

Maan: "I thought you said it didn't hurt"

Geet: "I've changed my mind. It does hurt" she said and smiled

Maan finished and then looked at Geet who was still smiling. He realized what he had just done.

Maan: "I... Uh... I'll go to office now" he said and walked out of the room.

Geet looked at Maan leave the room and smiled widely.
