Maan lost his breath, he couldn't speak for a minute, he felt heavy ache in his chest, it took him a while to grasp this news.

"Hey Maan, are you still there?"Geet asks.

Maan cleared his throat and took a deep breath.

"Geet, Congratulations, it is amazing news, well, I have to run for something so talk to you later."Maan says with distress.

Maan was not able to talk much hence he hung up the phone; He couldn't believe it, he couldn't fathom it. He was standing like a statue, he blacked out for a second, he didn't know what to do.

"Why did I hang up the phone? Why did I feel pain? Why did it matter to me if she got engaged? It is her life and she can do whatever she wants."Maan asks to himself while striking his fist on the table.

Maan thinks, "I called her because I wanted to know she was alright, and I should be happy as she sounded happy, this was her biggest day, and then what was wrong with me? I wanted to see her happy and here she was happy."

To distract himself, Maan sat down on his chair in his room and opened his laptop, but he couldn't concentrate, his eyes moved from laptop to the picture on his wall.

The picture he had on his wall was of his childhood where he was standing beside his mother, Savitri Devi and brother, Dev. This picture brought some childhood memories.

"I used to go to school with Brij and many times Geet used to join her, I hated her to the core, mainly because Geet used to cry easily on any situations, she didn't know how to fight against the circumstances, but at that time also I couldn't stop myself from helping her if she was in trouble, I could never see her in pain, today also I couldn't see her in pain, but this new Geet is entirely different, she is transformed, she looks happy, she takes her own decision, like a fighter who fights in the war till the last breath. When mom told me I was supposed to marry her, I denied her, I rejected her and today she moved on in her new life, why I would feel bad for this situation, it was bound to happen, I denied her and it is the fact, but I still want to see her happy, I still care that she will be happy tomorrow, I still care that the guy she is getting married to is right one for her. I am not sure I like her or love her, but I am sure about one thing that what matters to me is her happiness." Maan thinks.

To escape from her memories, he decided to go to bed.

He took shower and he went to bed. He fell asleep easily because of his exhausting day.

Geet was standing on the peak of the mountain, she was sobbing heavily, she was in agony which she couldn't tolerate, her heart was burning like a fire, she was looking down from the mountain, she moved towards the edge of the cliff, she was about to jump from the cliff and Maan shouted, "Geet, don't jump, Geet, stop." Suddenly Maan came out of his dream, he opened his eyes and he noticed that it was just a dream, a nightmare, nothing could have happened to Geet.

He couldn't fall asleep after this dream, his tired muscles screamed for rest, but he forced himself to find the car keys, he became agitated, he was fidgeting; he was restless, he went to the same jogging place where he met her that morning with the anticipation to find her again. He sat down on the bench and he stared at the sky.

Sky was completely dark as it was 3 in the morning; nobody was in the garden, he was enjoying seclusion. Sky was little gloomy with little moonlight stepping on his face, trees looked like ghost because of darkness, night silent was heart wrenching for his weeping heart, his chest pain was severe like someone had stabbed him, he couldn't endure the pain, he hated himself for rejecting Geet, he disgusted himself, in anger, he torn his shirt with anguish sigh while looking at sky, and he stood up, his eyeballs moved from sky to ground, he bent towards the ground and started push-ups, he forgot to count but he must have done more than hundred push ups.

With each push-up, he could see the glimpse of Geet- standing on a cliff. He couldn't forget that bloodcurdling sight. After push-ups, he was completely exhausted, his nerves became numb out of pain, his bare chest became icy with clearly apparent six packs, his eyes turned red, and his heartbeats became fast, his veins roared with pain. His entire sweating body wanted to see just one glimpse of Geet to make sure she was alive. He couldn't call or knock at her door at this bizarre hours, he had to wait and for the first time he felt like he wanted to eradicate Moon and wanted to force Sun to rise if he could. He wanted to move time further if he could. He was waiting for morning eagerly.

The break of dawn was still an hour away, and his exhausted body howled to sleep.

Gradually, as the first rays of lights glimmer and shine across the grass, the sunrays disturbed his sleep, the touch of sunrays on his face forced him to open his eyes and he realized he slept on the bench. Few people were already there jogging in their track paints and sweat shirt. Few girls got attracted by looking at Maan's bare chest. Maan ignored them and he knocked at Geet's door at early morning.

maan in dilema... wat is tat nitemare pointing us... is Sameer a danger to Geet but it doesn't seem like tat...but plz continue soon dear....

maan ke feelings padke mujhe toh bahut rona aa raha hain................poor chap..............missed his chance with geet...............but still now he wants her to be happy thats wat i love abt msk............but wat that dream depicts...........is something gonna happen to sameer or is maan gonna do something to geet to claim her in his life.............cant wait for the next update...............aise suspense mat rakho yaar
