Just caught up with ur ff.. An amazing number of twists they are facing in life..!! Poor ridz lost her child.. And finally Armaan has started feeling bad and realizing his mistake!!!

PART 13

Night passed away. Ananya stayed with Riddhima as she was to be discharged the next day. Others went home. None of them noted Armaan missing since the event happened. All were engrossed in their own grief.

Next day early morning at 6, Ananya came out of the ward to take some coffee as she did not want to disturb Riddhima's sleep, she saw Armaan sitting outside on a chair with his head bent down. Ananya was shocked to see him there. She slowly walked to him and kept her hand on his shoulder. Armaan looked up and saw her questioning eyes. He could not answer any of her questions hence looked down.

He wanted to hug her, he wanted her to take away his sadness. He was always close to Ananya.

He held her hand and pressed it against his cheek seeking the warmth of his mother. After many days he felt her touch.

Ananya was confused at first but when he held her hand she could not control her tears anymore. She ruffled his hair and he leaned his head on her. She hugged him and felt his need.

They stayed like that for sometime. After sometime, he aparted from her and looked at her. She came and sat next to him and held his hand in her both the palms.

Ananya: Armaan, I don't know what to say. I don't know what do you think about all this. May be you don't feel the loss, I am sure this doesn't affect you in anyway. You will lead your life how you want, I know that. But this happiness what we felt for the last few days was like …………… like, I don't know if I can explain that happiness to you.

Do you know how I had felt when I had you in my arms for the first time. It was blissful. I was elated to see your tiny feet, tiny arms, fingers and …….. and you were so fragile. I wanted to keep you out of every bad sight. Do you know, I always doted on you, even when you were at wrong. I always sided you when Muskaan and you had a fight. Do you know why I did that? She looked at him, he had a question mark on his face. Like the saying mothers have a soft corner for the sons and fathers have a soft corner for the daughters and that is not the only reason why I loved you so much. The other reason for that is, you were born after 4 years after Muskaan. I had many complications with your pregnancy. Even after so many complications, you came to this earth. You were an angel. You know, the day you were born I made myself a promise that I will make you a very good person, I had that proudness in me. I had such a confidence in you that you would make me feel the proudest mother. Each and every day when I saw you growing my confidence kept on growing. But I failed to notice that I was wrong in expecting things from you. Elders say that do not expect anything in return from your children, if done so your heart would shatter in to pieces, your confidence will go down the drain when they don't follow your way. I don't know where I went wrong in fulfilling my duties. You failed me. You made me a loser. A loser, who lost her hope on all others due to her own misjudgement towards her own blood.

The day I came to know what you did with Riddhima, I was taken aback. I felt like the earth being snatched down my feet. I could not believe that my son had done such a thing. Didn't you think about her even once before doing so. What if something like that had happened to Muskaan. Would you be able to tolerate it.

I don't know if all these things whatever I am telling you will ever make sense to you, but let me tell you one thing, you will certainly get punished for the sin you have committed. I can only tell you this as you yourself have grown up, you can think what is wrong and what is right, you know yourself much more than anyone else. And another thing for the last time at least now try to see the world through good eyes, and please try to treat Riddhima atleast like a human if not like a friend or a wife. If you had rectified your mistake, may be god would have blessed us with the child, but now I feel that this is the punishment that he has given you. May be you don't take it as one, but this is it.

Saying this she looked at him once and got up to leave from there but was stopped Armaan. He held her and when she looked back at him, she saw him kneeling down on both his feet and shedding tears. Even she felt her cheeks getting wet. How much ever she hated him for his wrong things she could not cut him out from her. He could not speak a word but folded his hands in front of her asking for forgiveness. She could not see him in such a state and sat down on the chair again and he kept his head on her lap while crying his heart out.

While all this happened outside, Billy, Muskaan, and rahul had witnessed this from the corridor and felt happy that at least now Armaan had accepted his mistake. All the three walked to them and Billy kept a hand on Armaan's head. Armaan saw all the three and got up and said, "I am sorry, I am sorry I took you all for granted. I never knew when I started going in a wrong way, I am really ashamed of myself, I am really sorry. I will try not to commit any mistakes in my life again. Please forgive me." they could not see him begging for their forgiveness so they all hugged him and consoled him saying nothing is going to change now, even now he was the apple of the all of them in the family and he would remain the same. The family was happy with their reunion.

Doctor came to check Riddhima, he told them she was okay for now and they could take her home, but she would have to take 2 to 3 days rest as she was very weak.

Ananya came in.

Ananya: Riddhima, beta tumhari mumma ka phone hai, lo baat karlo.

Riddhima took the phone and spoke to Padma. Padma was sad after hearing the news. She wanted to console Riddhima being with her but could not do so as Shashank was out of the country on some business work and Nani was not well so she could not come immediately.

Riddhima told her that it was ok and told her that all others here were taking very good care of her very well and told her not to worry. She said this in a little bit low voice as she had still not come out of the trauma of losing her baby. Armaan noticed this and his heart pained seeing her like this. Indirectly, without his knowledge she had started to make space for herself suddenly after the fight incident, but he could not agree to it initially due to ego, but afterwards he was getting attracted towards her gradually.

By noon, Riddhima was discharged and were about to take her home. Nurse was explaining the medications and its dosages to Muskaan. Ananya was packing the things. Billy and Rahul had gone out to clear the billing formalities. Riddhima got up to stand when suddenly she lost her balance due to sprained foot and was about to fall then Armaan came rushing towards her and held her before she hit the ground. Riddhima winced in pain and held her leg with her left hand and closed her eyes due to pain and sat down on the bed again. She did not realize Armaan had supported her by holding her shoulders. She sat down massaging her leg. Armaan kept staring at her holding her in his arms.

Ananya and Muskaan looked at them and both felt happy. At the same time, Billy and Rahul walked in and saw Armaan holding Riddhima and staring at her. Billy was confused to see him like this as whenever Armaan looked at Riddhima he would see the rage in his eyes, but today he saw a calm nature on his face. He was lost in watching her and did not notice that he was surrounded by his family.

Armaan's trance broke when the nurse made some noise. He looked at her confusingly and Riddhima looked at his hand and again looked at his face with blank expression on her face. As soon as she looked at him, he removed his hand and moved back making her sit comfortably on the bed.

Then the nurse told the wardboy to get a wheelchair for her and they took her to the car. While going out, Ananya held Billy's arm and rested her head on his shoulder and said, "Billy, ab mujhe lagta hai mein apni bte aur bahu ki khush haal zindagi ko dekh paungi. Mujhe pata hai ye sab hone mein waqt lagega, but I am sure my son has changed, and he has changed for good now. He will now be a good son a and a good husband." Billy just pressed her hand and passed a warm smile to her and they all went to their home after a dreadful event which changed their lives in an overnight.

OK, i want comments, as from now on you all will be seeing a different Armaan and a different Riddhima.

That was good but toooooo short yaar! lol so we shall see a diff ridzi LOL she is going to be pissed at him and blame everyfing on him aye? well frankly im glad coz he deserves it after all he raped her but anywho sooooo glad tht u officially brought OUR REAL ARMAAN back, the cute, caring, nice and adorable armaan. cant w8 til AR are like in love. update sooon. xx
