Riddhima kept crying holding her knees to her face thinking about her life, how it had changed in a very short span of time. The girl who was very obedient, well behaved, good at heart, innocent, with full of colours in her life has been marked as characterless. She thought where was her fault in all the things that was happening. She did not know what to do, where to go, and even the reason to live. She was insulted on each and every step after she came to her in-laws. She felt hatredness towards her from Ananya and Armaan, sympathy from Billy, but no love from even one. Not that she expected love from Armaan but she was not the person who likes to be hated from even the enemy. She wanted everyone to be happy even if they had done something bad to her. She kept on crying thing of her fate sitting in a corner of the room.
Downstairs, Billy and Ananya were shocked to hear what Muskaan had told them. Ananya could not take the truth and just sat on the couch with a thump in a shocked state. Billy just could not understand what to do or how to react. He was just left humiliated due to his son's deeds. There was pindrop silence in the hall. After sometime, Ananya gathered herself and spoke to Muskaan.
Ananya: Muskaan, is it true whatever u r saying?
Muskaan: Mom, why would i lie to you.
Ananya: I cant believe Armaan aisa karsakta hai.
Muskaan: Maa, aapko kuch nahi pata Ke Armaan kya kya karsakta hai. Do you know he has started smoking, drinking, and also gir............. She left her sentence in the middle looking at Ananya's face.
Billy: Ananya, kya tumhe pata hai. Armaan kya se kya bangaya hai. I knew Armaan is going on a wrong path, par mein ye nahi janta tha ki woh is had tak gir sakta hai and whenever I was about to question Armaan tum uski tarafdari karne ajati. mujhe kuch kehne ka mauqa hi nahi deti thi.
Ananya: Lekin main ye nahi janti thi ki meri pyaar ki vajah se Armaan aisa hojayega. I am really ashamed of myself. what will i do now. main kaise us bachi ko apna chehra dikhaun, main to ye samajh rahi thi ki Riddhima ne Armaan ko phasaya hai, paison ke liye, aur Armaan ki life barbaad hogayi, lekin ye nahi janti thi ki armaan ne uski life barbaad kardi. mein aisa kya karoon jo us ladki ki life mein phirse khushiyan lautadoon, and she started sobbing in Billy's arms.
Muskaan: Mom aap please royi ye mat. dekhiye jo hogaya wo to hochuka. but ab aap please Riddhima se aise baat mat kijiye. Wo toh bilkul toot chuki hai andar se. Na hi wo kisiko kuch bata sakti hai aur nahi wo apne aap ye sab andar daba kar raksakti hai.
Billy: Haan beta jab se ayi hai bahot chup chap si lag rahi hai. usme to aise ke jaise jaan hi nahi hai, na hasti hai, na baat karti hai bas sirf kaam karti rehti hai aur andar room mein baithi rehti hai. mujhe to wo Riddhima nazar hi nahi arahi jo Anjali ke shaadi pe dekha tha.
Ananya: Agar dil mein itni dard chupa ho toh bahar kaise hasegi.
Muskaan and Billy looked at her knowingly what she was saying.
Maa aap usse baat kijiye, usse thoda sukoon milega jab use pata chalegi ki aap usse nafrat nahi karti.
Ananya: lekin mein kaise.........
Nahi mom aap pls baat kijiye. Riddhima bahut achi ladki hai, wo samajh jayegi aapko. wo bilkul akeli feel kar rahi hogi is waqt. Aap se baat karegi toh usse uski mayke ka yaad thoda kam hoga. vaise bhi i dont think kisine uski ghar se use phone bhi kiya hoga.
Billy: Haan Ananya, jao usse baat karlo.
Ananya heaved a big sigh and stood up to walk towards her room thinking what would she talk with her and how would she face her.
Ananya entered the room slowly and saw her sitting next to the bed on the floor with her face buried in her feet and crying silently.
Ananya slowly walked towards her and kept her hand on the shoulder nervously.
Riddhima got startled and looked up to see who it was. As soon as she saw Ananya, she wiped her tears and stood up.
Ji, aapko kuch chahiye tha kya. she said looking down. Ananya could not hold her tears looking her in this stage and immediately hugged her saying " I am sorry beta, mujhe maaf kardo, I am really sorry." hearing this Riddhima cried hysterically in her arms. "I am sorry mujhe nahi pata tha tumhare saath Armaan ne aisa kiya hai. I am very sorry." aunty pls aap sorry mat kahiye. aapne thodi galati ki hai, ye toh meri kismat ne mujhe dhoka diya hai, lagta hai maine kuch paap kiya hua hai jiski saza mein ab bhukat rahi hoon. Nahi, aisa mat kaho. tumne koi paap nahi kiya hua hai, paap to humne kiya hai jo is tarah ki beta paida hua hai hamare ghar mein. Jiski wajah se na jaane kitne logon ko dukh diya hua hai. Bas ab aur nahi. Tum ab uski wajah se nahi ro gi. Tum aaj se is ghar ki beti ho, theek hai. Tum hamein Mom, dad kehkar hi bulaogi. Aur koi chahe ya na chahe par tum hamari beti hi ho aur tumhe humara pyaar zaroor milega. Riddhima hugged her tightly leaving fresh set of tears.
Bas ab no rona dhona theek hai. chalo wada karo mujhse. wada karo ki tum ab humse kuch nahi chupaogi, tum hamein apni mom dad ki tarah treat karogi, tumhari jo bhi problems ho tum humse share karogi. theek hai. she came apart from the hug and wiped all her tears. Bhool jao ki tumhare saath aisa kuch hua tha. Mein ye nahi keh rahi hoon ki Armaan to maaf kardo. mujhe pata hai tumhein kaisi feel ho raha hai. lekin ye zaroor kahungi ki tum apni zindagi phirse shuru karo, hamari saath, meri, Billy aur Muskaan ki saath. bolo karogi ye?
Ananya looked at her. Riddhima after sometime smiled at her lightly and nodded her head positively. all this time Billy and Muskaan were standing at the door and listening to their talk.
Billy and Muskaan felt happy hearing all this and went inside and all came in a bear hug and stayed there for sometime consoling each other and helping Riddhima come out of her shell.
After some time when they all were having their dinner, they heard a car entering the driveway. All knew that it was Armaan. Riddhima was about to get up from her seat as she did not want to face him, but Ananya held her hand and told her to sit and finish her dinner. Armaan entered the house with Rahul beside him. They both were talking and laughing at something and when Armaan saw Riddhima and others having dinner together he felt something odd in their behaviour but just pushed it aside and walked towards the dining hall greeting everyone. when he was about to greet his mom as usual with a hug, she stepped back. when he looked at her confusingly, She just slapped him on his cheek hard.
