"Shankyyyy!!"

Shashank turned around to look at the expected guest as the guest hugged him.

"Billy you finally made it on time."

" obviously, Padma ji's daughters marriage. I had to make it on time."

Billy walks towards Padma to give her a hug. She in indirect defense joins her hands.

" Namaste Balvinder ji, by the way its you sons wedding too."

"Padma ji, don't call me balvinder and please definitely not namaste and all, after all I am your son in laws younger brother."

Shashank and Padma laugh at billy. They were use to this by now. They were all at the malik residence. Keerthi and Shubankar were also there. Even though it was only a dinner and only the day of Armaan Riddhimas wedding was to be decided. Every one still choose to dress for the occasion cause Armaan Riddhima wedding was definitely something to celebrate. Keerthi wore a beautiful blue saari. Padma kept it simple with a green salwar with gold work. Shashank and Billy were dressed in their formals as usual, Shubankar looked super as he is in his black kurta.

"Where is my daughter in law anyway?" asked Billy searching for Riddhima.

"She is in Ananya ji s room, getting ready."replied Padma.

"And my brother?"

"I am here dad." Armaan replied as he descended the stairs. He looked breath taking in his blue jeans and white kurta. He flashed his dimples at every one as he came down.

"He is looking so handsome." Padma stated to shashank softly.

"After all he is my son, padma ji" replied Billy as he had heard them.

JP ang Jiggy entered with the pandit. As Padma went too attend the pandit, every one settled into a conversation.

Ananya gifted Riddhima this beautifully decorated tray, with gold artificial flowers and sequence. The tray had a magenta saari with a beautiful Sequenced border and a velvet box. As Riddhima opened the box she saw this beautiful jadaw (rajasthani work) necklace with matching ear rings. They looked priceless with ruby and gold as the main base.

"Wow." Riddhima exclaimed as she opened the box. " But Maa I cant take this, it is…"

Ananya broke riddhima off.

" You are my daughter in law beta, its your right. And also this is the first time you have called me Maa, so I get to give you anything right?"

"but …"

"no but Riddhima, its is anyway nothing compared to you. You deserve more."

Riddhima had no choice but to accept it.

"Thank you maa. Its lovely."

"your welcome beta, now get ready fast everyone must be waiting. Ill go check what is happening down."

Ananya leaves.

The dinner was going well. Pandit ji was ready. As, soon as riddhima would come they would start. Every one was having a great time, there was this sudden silence when all of the looked at the bride enter. She is looked stunning in her magenta saari and her new set. She had left the pallu of the saari loose on her hand. Left her hair open with little make up. Anjali had suggested her to tie her hair into a bun so that I would highlight the jewels. But she did not want to , because she knew Armaan liked her hair left loose and today she wanted to look like Armaan's Riddhima…

"Our daughter looks beautiful." Shashank whispered to Padma as he put his arms around her shoulder.

Armaan was as expected speechless. His mouth was open, as he saw his basket walk with Anjali. She was unbelievable. He dint even bother to blink as every moment was too valuable to be missed. He wanted to take her into his arms right now, as he stepped forward. Shubankar held his arm..

"Shut your mouth alteast Dr.Armaan..!"

Armaan came back and looked down… and smiled.

As Riddhima came down Billy and Ananya walked towards her. Ananya hugged her.

"looking very beautiful beta.."

Billy removed some cash from his pocket and circled it around Riddhima's head.( this is a religious gesture which is believed to prevent evil eye.)

Riddhima bent to touch his feet as he prevented her from doing so and hugged her.

" beta, you are looking gorgeous.."

Padma and shashank came forward to hug Riddhima. Padma's eyes became wet as the eloped into a family hug with Anjali too.

Armaan and Riddhima were made to sit on the sofa next to each other. Armaan still could not take his eyes off her. She looked at him and asked him how she looked by lifting her eyebrows. Armaan shut his eyes slowly and opened them indicating she looked 'wow'!!

Pandit ji started to read his holy book and after some calculations he said "Accordingly,

28^th December would be the best day for their wedding. And 6 in the evening would be the ideal time."

Every one rejoiced with a applause. Shashank and Billy hugged in agreement. Shubankar tapped on Armaan shoulder congratulating him, while JP hugged Anjali in happiness. Anjali let go the hug and adjusted her clothes." Its okay JP, its not your wedding relax."Anjali said as she mocked him.

Armaan whispered to Riddhima," 498 hours left basket!"

Riddhima looked down as she blushed.

Dinner was done everyone was still at the malik residence, chatting over desert and coffee, while Armaan and Riddhima managed to slip away to the terrace.

They sat n the terrace bench, their heads rested together as armaan had both his hand around her. He planted kiss on her cheek.

"this is not fair basket!"

"huh? Whats not fair?"

"you cant look so unbelievably stunning everyday."

Riddhima blushes," achha?!"

"yeah, if it goes on like this then how will I spend 20 whole days?!?

"you just need a chance to talk rubbish!" Riddhima laughed.

"rubbish? I am serious Basket! If you look like this then it if tuff for me…"

He cuts off as he nuzzles her ear lobe.

She turns to look at him as their eyes meet, and the elope into an hug. She nuzzled his neck. And moved her head up to his adam's apple, rested her head there. She just loved the way he smelled. She loved the feeling of being in his strong arms. She loved the way he would never let go. She loved him…

He loosened the hug and looked at her.

"Basket will you go out with me tomorrow? I have checked our duty chart and our duty gets overt early. So, I was wondering if we could go out?!"

Riddhima smiled.

"yes I will."

"okay then I will pick you up at 7!"

"Hmm-mm" Riddhima agreed.

They eloped into a tighter hug again.
