PART 17

Gunjan was waiting for kinza at the airport. Its been a month since they have met and Gunajn missed Kinza a lot. Kinza was Nupur's 19 years old younger sister. She was away on a college trip and was returning early because of the wedding. Nupur and Gunjan both loved Kinza a lot and were very close to her so she knew all about Mayank and was very happy for them.

Finally Gunjan saw kinza arriving. She was wearing long black sweater with jeans and as usually was otherwise simply attired. Her hair was bound in a high pony with flicks. Kinza was famous among them for being simplicity personified.

Kinza: " Gunjan!"

They both ran farward and hugged each other.

Gunjan: " Kinza. Gosh I missed you girl. Kitna kuch ho gaya tmare peechay."

Kinza : " I missed you too. Aur mujhe sare details chahiay wo bhe abhe."

Gunajna: " gari mein to chalo. I will tell you everything on our way back."

They both went to the parking lot and Gunjan was excitedly telling kinza everything when suddenly she bumped into someone.

Gunajn: " sorry sorry."

" you saying sorry to me? tmare tabiat to theek hai na? Lagta hai bohat kam krwate hai Nupur."

Gunjan looked up to find Samrat standing in front of her.

Gunjan suddenly felt shy from him and didn't know what to say to that.

Kinza nudged Gunajn and Gunjan said: " mmmm' hello Samrat. How are you?"

Samrat: " no comeback? you are definitely not feeling well. Aur yeh kya? I am back to being Samrat?"

Samrat grinned and Gunjan still had no answer. She was acting strange she knew but what could she do? Recently whenever Samrat was around her he made her nervous, specially after she hugged him. Just remembering that made her go red all over again.

Kinza felt left out and coughed loud enough to get Gunajn's attention.

Gunjan: " mmm' ye Kinza hai Sam.. I mean Samrat. She is Nupur's younger sister."

Samrat: " hello Kinza."

Gunajn: " and kinza he is Samrat Mayank's best friend."

Kinza: " hi Samrat."

And than he again directed his all attention to Gunajn, " I preferred Sam."

Gunjan was again speechless. she didn't understand what was happening to her.

Gunjan: " we have to go. Nupur will be waiting. See you later Sam." After saying Sam she looked up at him and smiled sheepishly.

Samrat smiled at her and said: " now that's better.see ya soon. Say hi to Nupur." he said a random bye to both of them and left.

As soon as he was out of sight Kinza began: "he was Samrat right? The Samrat of our college? The proud Samrat you always talked about? The one you were so against? Sam! When did you both become so friendly? Above all I have never seen you behaving like that! Whats up Gunjan?"

Gunajn: " sighs well it's a long story' I will start from the beginning'"

By the time Gunjan ended her story Kinza was grinning from ear to ear.

Kinza: " wow! I always knew you will make me proud but soo soon?"

Gunajn: " haha! very funny."

As they reached home than so Kinza held her tongue and was unable to question more about Samrat but she had sensed something between Gunjan and Samrat.

Nupur: " Kinzuuu!!"

Kinza: " deee!!! Kese hain aap?"

They both hugged each other.

Nupur: " mein bilkul thekh! How are you sis?"

Kinza: ' how do I look? Mere choran. Aap bataen na? Mein mahene ke leye bahar kyu gaye apne jiju dhoondh bhe liay?"

Nupur: " hehe! You will like Mayank a lot."

Kinza: " wo to mujhe pata hai! Mein Gunajn ko chor kr gaye the na ap per check rakhne ke liay!"

Gunjan was lost in thought and so didn't answer.

Kinza: " Gunjan.. kahan khoye hue ho?"

Gunajn: " han? kahen nahe.. mein aate hoon abhe.."

Nupur and Kinza both noticed Gunajn's odd behaviour.

Nupur: " ise kya hau?"

Kinza: " Sam jee mile thay."

Nupur looked up at that. Mayank's words came back to her' what if Gunjan and Samrat really liked each other. Even Nupur noticed Gunjan's change of attitude towards Samrat. But she knew Samrat too. He wasn't the sort of man for Gunajn. His pride may hurt her best friend. She had to find out what was up between Samrat and Gunajn.
