Thanks Viji. I'm suffering from severe cold but since I had not updated for some time now, I thought I'll just give a filler update which would not require too much effort on my part as it is an improvisation from scenes I wrote for Michi. Except this one, all the other Maaneet fics are actually original Michi fics. I Maaneetified all my Michi fics except the two mammoth ones, "Destiny's Children" and "Great Expectations." I may be improvising scenes from both these fics if I find they can fit into this Maaneet fic. In "Destiny's Children" I traced the entire nine months of the heroine's pregnancy. So many of the scenes there can fit in for Geet. I'll use them, after changing them appropriately to fit Maaneet.


Yes, "Strangers" is loosely based on "Rayil Sneham". Even I do not recollect the whole story but the essence of it was about this man who saves a pregnant woman who later dies and he ends up raising the baby as his own. I found the theme fascinating - that of a man accepting a child which was not his and then spun my own yarn around Michi. At the time I did not know that we'll end up getting a show like Geet where the hero does accept the heroine's baby as his. that is why I converted this into a Maaneet fic (my first such conversion).
