ok so i get about an hour on the bus to write
and then it studies so i will write
but i may not be able to update everyday
but here is an update i wrote (i wrote pretty fast so it is lengthy)😆

Everyone stood there still in awe of him.
"Go"-Sid
But he grabbed Shilpa's arm and pulled her towards him.
"Not you. I need to talk to you. Everyone else, go"-Sid
Riddhima made forcefully walked away without a glance at Armaan or waiting for Jp.
"Dude everyone is staring at me. These clothes aren't…I am not wearing them again"-Sid
"Dude, it's because you are look Hot!!!! That everyone is staring at you. And whose this Adyant guy?"-Shilpa trying to change the topic.
"He is very intelligent doctor. We used to go to the same college and then bro called me to India. But Adyant is very successful and good for Sanjeevani's reputation abroad so take care of him"-Sid
"Yes boss"-Shilpa marched away to head for the airport.
Riddhima was taking a break when she notices a crowd of nurses gathered around a window looking into it like kids looking into a candy store. She wandered over to them pondering at what might have gotten their attention. She realized they were all staring at Sid, her Sid.
"Oye, get back to work. Now!"-Riddhima in a angry tone.
She followed each and every nurse with her eyes until all of them, a bit frightened, left. Then she herself looked into the glass window at him. He was looking at the clipboard with his eyebrows pinched in slightly and his face reflected deep thoughts. She loved the way that even though he was in deep thought innocence still managed to radiate from his face. She watched him for a few seconds, as everything around her seemed to be centered around him. But soon she noticed she wasn't the only one. The younger female patients were also staring at him and they all had a devilish smile across their faces.
She knew they were talking about the way he looked and she felt a wild rage threatening to escape her control. She marched into the room as if a storm with the intention of destroying everything that stood in its path. She marched up to him and grabbed his hand. In shock Sid stared at her and he the rage he saw in her eyes confused him further. Without waiting for his response she dragged him out of the room. She was about to take him into the fire escape but when there was an announcement calling Sid to the reception area. Sid looked at Riddhima and the desperation in her eyes and silently smiled before freeing himself from her grasp and heading in the opposite direction. Riddhima felt agony watching him leave so she was about to follow him when Armaan came from behind calling her name. She quickly ducked into the ward next to her and pretended to be occupied with a patient, whose name she didn't even know.
Sid turned to take a quick glance at her before turning the coroner and smiled at seeing the desperation in her eyes and the annoyance in her face as soon as she heard Armaan. He turned the corner with a smile that had reflected pure bliss and further enticed the nurses to stare at him in awe.
Mean while Shilpa had reached the parking lot of the airport and was already late as she ran towards the entrance. But an unusual sight caught her glance and forced her to stop mid way. She thought she saw a glimpse of Armaan. She stopped to stare at the group of kids and a man playing soccer. A cloud of dust surrounded them so she couldn't make out the man's face properly. She watched as a man wearing a white undershirt played with the kids. Instantly she knew it wasn't Armaan. He had almost the same built, but slightly less. She was about to go away but for some unknown reason stood still continuing to watch him.
He stopped and allowed the kids to run ahead of him. He was covered in sweat and dirt but that didn't stop the woman passing by, to stop staring at him. He checked his watch and quickly looked around until his eye fell on a shirt and a blazer lying on the ground. He slowly ran towards them and picked them up. As he was stumbling to get them on he kept looking at the entrance of the airport. He seemed oblivious that the women were watching him, and that a girl in a red salwar hadn't taken her eyes off him.
Shilpa realized that he kept looking at the airport entrance because he was about to leave. All of a sudden she felt a sudden burden bound to her heart as she felt it sinking. She sighed, but continued to watch him. He had jet black hair to contrast his fair skin and a rough shave. His eyes were a light brown, but as she looked closer she thought she a saw hint of green in them.
He finally managed to get his light blue shirt on with a few buttons from the top undone, but he didn't bother to put on the blazer. As he was about to head for the airport, his eyes fell on a girl. The girl was wearing a red suit and staring towards him. He didn't know if she staring at him or looking past him, but something in her expression caught his eyes. She looked gorgeous in that red suit, but even then something didn't seem right.
Shilpa wanted to leave or break her stare as soon as the guy noticed her, but her feet just wouldn't move. He started walking towards her and still she couldn't break her stare.
"Sanjeevani?"-the guy asked.
Shilpa nodded and he looked at her as if she was dement, which she couldn't blame him for.
"Adyant Vera"-Adyant.
"How did you know"-Shilpa finally managed to get some words out
"Umm.coat aur stethoscope wasn't rocket science. Par tum Sid nahi ho"-Adyant
"Yeah I know. Hi I am Shilpa. Toh chale Adyant."-Shilpa
"Ady. And let's go"-Ady followed Shilpa as he dragged a suitcase behind him.
Shilpa and Ady sat in the car in complete silence, as Ady took in the scene. But Shilpa couldn't stand the silence and noticed him smiling at every change of scene.
"So…what did you miss about India?"-Shilpa trying to start a conversation
"You…I mean you know I didn't think I missed it, but now it seems like the only thing missing from my life"-Ady
Shilpa smiled and he turned his head around to stare out the window once again.
Meanwhile in Sanjeevani Riddhima and Armaan were called into Dr. Shashank's office.
"Dr. Riddhima and Dr. Armaan the highly prestigious hospital of Huston wants two doctors form Sanjeevani and I have recommended the both of you. Yours dream job Riddhima, now you have it"-Shashank
Although he was saying this there was a certain roughness in his voice. Armaan's face reflected excitement, but Riddhima seemed to have a hard time grasping the idea. Just as Armaan was about to grab hold of Riddhima's hand, Dr. Shashank started saying something.
"Armaan can you excuse us, mujhe Riddhima se kuch akele mein baat karni hai"-S
Armaan leaves.
"Riddhima yeh job maine phele Sid ko offer ki thi par usse ne mana kar diya. I just thought you should know"-S
Riddhima's nods her head and walks out of the cabin.
She is about to head for the stairs that lead to the roof, but she hears that all the doctors were to report to the reception area. When she got there she saw Sid, Shilpa standing there talking a new guy. The new guy was oblivious very hot, but she struggled to manage her anger when she saw Shilpa continuously touching Sid's hand to get his attention. Soon the rest of the gang joined them and Sid cleared his throat to get everyone's attention.
"Right guys meet Adyant Verma. We used to go to college together and we are really great friends even today. He is going to be joining us, don't know for how long but he is here. Shilpa, Adyant is going to follow you around…"-Sid was about to continue but Armaan interrupted.
"Why Shilpa? I mean I am a senior doctor so he should be under me"-Armaan
"Yeah I know, but because you are a senior doctor you already have enough responsibilities"-Sid
"And you can barely manage one, let alone another one"-Sid said under his breath, but Adyant heard and a chuckle escaped him.
"Right Shilpa show Adyant around and rest of you guys can welcome him and then get back to work"-Sid
Just as Sid was about to walk off, Shilpa pulled him back and whispered something in his ear.
"Jiju can we talk later? Meet you at the basketball court say in an hour?"-Shilpa
Sid nodded before heading towards the general ward. Riddhima felt her own nails digging into her skin and her flesh burning slightly. She saw a hint of red with a mark of her nail and sighed before heading the same way as Sid. Armaan on the other hand stood watching Shilpa and Adyant, from a distance. He watched as Shilpa smiled introducing Adyant to the rest of the gang. The way she had her arm wrapped around his, as if claiming that was his…the way she smiled looking at him, it just bugged Armaan. He stood silently enticing for Shilpa to look at him and she did. She looked at Armaan, but as soon as she did she looked away and her smile lost a bit of brightness.
Adyant followed Shilpa as she displayed the hospital from the reception area to the wards and introduced him to everyone from the doctors to the nurses.
Adyant
The way she talked about Sanjeevani…it's like a child displaying their new bike. She seems to bring it to life or…maybe it's her life. I mean it's a great hospital, the nurses here are a bit crazy, can't seem to stop staring as if they have never seen a man before. But her…she just seems to know everyone and it seems everyone loves her. But the guy she looked at only for a moment and in that one moment the blaze in her eyes seemed to dim slightly. Who was he and why did that one glimpse do that to her?
They reached the fire escape and Shilpa was unsure as to whether she should show him or not. She turned back to look at him and found him staring at her. She seemed to feel a bit uncomfortable in his stare as if he could see past the smile, but how could he possibly?
"Umm fire escape"-Shilpa
"Fire…where!!1"-Adyant frantic looking all over for a sign of burning flames
Shilpa laughed and admired that way his dimples disappeared at the word fire and the way his hair, that before was in its proper place, now seemed to have a life of its own.
"FIRE-ESCAPE"-Shilpa pointing to the fire escape.
Adyant relaxed and turned slightly pink at his behavior while trying to straighten out his hair. Shilpa leaned in and attempted to put fix it. She felt his soft hair beneath her skin with a hint of coolness and that sent shivers throughout Shilpa's spine, so she quickly took away her hand.
"Umm…it looks better like this. Not the preppy kind of look you had going on"-Shilpa
Adyant smiles showing all his teeth and displaying his dimples. Shilpa smiles back slightly as she felt shy all of a sudden, but quickly straightens up and scolds herself for feeling this way when she had no reason to.
"So why would you show me the fire escape when there is no fire?"-Adyant
"Oh, everyone comes here"-Shilpa looking at it with a flash back of a distant memory she shared with Armaan. She remembered the he had saved the one tear from falling to the ground, but at that time she didn't realize the price of saving that one tear would be a storm of millions of droplets.
Adyant walks in and reached the end of the fire escape. He looks at Shilpa who is still standing at the entrance. He looks at her sillouette as there wasn't enough light in the fire escape to see her face. He realized that even in the darkness there was no denying that this was one of the most beautiful girls he had ever seen, but there was also something different about. He didn't know what, but at that moment it didn't really matter.
"What so special about this place"-Adyant trying to stop himself from staring
Shilpa walks in and looks past him, the memory still scarring in her mind.
"The moments…the important moments took place here. Jiju proposing to Riddhima, my first meeting with Arma…"-Shilpa trials off as she realizes that she was talking more to herself than to Adyant, but he could hear every word.
"Arma…nice name. He was the guy who you looked at for only a moment at the reception right?"-Adyant
Shilpa was surprised that Adyant noticed that but nodded.
"Armaan."-Shilpa
Adyant sat down on the bottom step and looked at Shilpa, who was standing in front of him.
"What happened?"-Adyant
Shilpa didn't know why, but she spilled everything to a stranger she meet only a few hours ago. She watched him as she told her story, waiting for his reaction. However, he would only nod a few times and he placed his hand on hers right at the moment she told him about Armaan being in love with Riddhima. He never took his hand off hers, but she felt a certain comfort with him.
"So?"-Shilpa waiting for his response.
"You fell in love with a diary and a bunch of pictures."-Adyant
"What do you mean? Those words, those pictures were Armaan's"-Shilpa
"Yeah, but there weren't Armaan. Haven't you ever noticed that in every picture, everyone always smiles and we think to ourselves "wow they look so happy". You made the same mistake. You fell in love with the Armaan that was only in the picture. But going from one picture to another picture, there are a million moments in between. Those moments, those experiences are reality. A picture is only a frozen moment, but a person's life is made up of an endless more moments."-Adyant
Adyant was hesistant as he expected Shilpa to cry and awaited for the tears to start flowing. But to his great surprise she just nodded in understanding and encourage him to go further. He got up and with back to her walked towards the wall, trying to hide a smile. He leaned against the wall and for a moment looked at the girl before him.
A simple girl with a complicated life. A girl more fragile than snow yet strong. A girl more beautiful than angel yet with a little mischief in her eyes.
"We all fall in love with the good parts of a person. But you know what makes the difference between true love and love? When we truly love someone, we fall in love with their bad parts and slowly without realizing it that part start to change."-Adyant
"Okay I don't believe that. We don't change a person we are in love with"-Shilpa
"I didn't mean that we change the person, I just meant there are some good changes. And if you don't believe me, just look at Ridhdima and Sid. Sid used to be a free bachelor with no care in the world and no idea of the definition of responsibility. And now he is still that fun guy, but he also knows how to fulfill his responsibilities. I mean I would have never thought he would be in charge and now look at him"-Adyant trying to argue his point
"Yeah but what about Riddhima?"-Shilpa taking her stand
"Well…I haven't really meet her so I don't know"-Adyant a bit uneasy as he saw a flaw in his example and felt that he was on his way to loosing the argument.
"Hah!!! You don't know"-Shilpa claiming triumph
"Doesn't mean I am wrong!"-Adyant straightening his pose
"You ARE wrong"-Shilpa pointing her finger at him
Adyant moved closer and pointed his finger at her, now both their fingers were touching.
"No I am not"-Adyant not backing down, even if he felt the stare that Shilpa was giving him might cause a stroke
"Are to"-Shilpa
"D-2"-Adyant
"What?"-Shilpa
"Star wars"-Adyant backing down
Suddenly they heard a knock on the door, and they saw Armaan looking down on them
"Lunch"-Armaan said a little sternly and walked away
"Geek"-Shilpa smiling before heading towards the exit
"Sar DARD"-Adyant shouted back at her
During lunch Shilpa was about to drop Adyant off at the caf and go meet Sid. But she grabbed him and dragged him to the basketball courts.
Sid was already there and sitting on the bench. Adyant sat beside him and they both looked at Shilpa, who was now nervously pacing back and forth.
"Get on with it"-Adyant
Shilpa took of her sandal and threw it at him, but he caught it and smiles as he put it beside him.
"Maybe you could throw me the other one too. I can't wear only one, but if I had the pair"-Adyant teasingly
Shilpa was about to take the other one off too, but Sid chuckled and she put it back on.
"Right you know how I always call Riddhima, di?"-Shilpa
"Yeah but there better me more because I already knew that "-Sid
"Well she really is my di"-Shilpa bracing herself for their reaction, but Sid just looked at her
"Yeah we know you consider her your di, but there better be more"-Sid
"No like blood related di"-Shilpa
At this Sid almost fell back off the bench but Adyant grabbed him and pulled him back.
"What? How did…born you and her sisters? How is that possible? I mean I know how , but how?"-Sid having a hard time forming words.
"Congrat. Ek Sali ke saath ek Sali free. Kya pata kahin se tujhe sala bhi mil jaye"-Adyant patting Sid on the back. Shilpa this time took off her shoe and threw it Adyant, who caught it.
"Thanks, now I know what to give you for your birthday"-Adyant
"How?"-Sid finally managing to breath
"Padma ji meri mom and I don't know who my dad is. I was left at an orphanage in Chandpur with just an old photo."-Shilpa took out a grey scale photo showing a much younger Padma with a man. But the photo was ripped and only showed the man leaning away from Padma, as if trying to avoid the camera, and his face was ripped off.
"And you dad?"-Sid looking at the photo
Shilpa shrugged as she had no idea who and where he was.
"Well if you were left in Chanpur it means you were born there too. Which means you dad and Padma ji must have been working there at the time you were born. I will look at the private record to find Padma ji working history and hopefully we will get something to go"-Sid was still having a hard time grasping the idea, but the way Shilpa looked at him made want to help her.
She looked at him with hope of not just trying to find her dad, but being accepted by him as his saali. He smiled as he had already done that, but to relieve her of that burden he hugged her.
"Don't worry saali sahiba you already have a family. And I will help you put together all the pieces"-Sid wiping a small tears that didn't suit the smile that Shilpa now proudly displayed.
"Riddhima di?"-Shilpa
"Not now, wait until we find the whole truth first"-Sid sadly as he had to hide something like this from Riddhima.
Sid pager went off and he checked it.
"Got to go. But you take your time and Ady see what you can find out"-Sid
"Already on it, put in a few messages while you were busy with a mushy stuff"-Adyant as he was about to put away his phone, but Shilpa kicked him for his comment causing him to drop it.
Instead of picking up the phone he looked at Shilpa in awe. The girl lost who she thought was the love of her life, she couldn't tell her sister the truth, she had tears pouring out of her eyes, yet she was smiling.
He never thought a girl like her existed but now that he had met her he felt a certain draw towards her.
Damn! Stop Ady, she loves someone else and you are just heading towards a train wreck.
But he couldn't help himself from comforting her. He didn't care that he had just met this girl, he just wanted to take away some of the pain. So he hugged her lightly. Her head fit perfectly on his shoulder as he wrapped his arms around her and he felt a certain warmth with her being so close to him. He was about to move away but to his amazement she wrapped her arms beneath his arms and around his waist.
Shilpa didn't know the reason but his touch didn't make her feel uncomfortable. His hug wasn't one filled with passion or flirtation but rather of comfort. He felt like the blanket that every kid has, to take away the fear and pain. She felt sheltered and protected in his arms, even if it was just for a moment.
Adyant drew his arms back and so did Shilpa. They both stared at each other, in silence.
"Thank you"-Shilpa softly. She wondered about the man that stood before her. He had only met her, yet he offered her comfort and without hesitation or waiting to be asked he was helping her.
Adyant just nodded as he smiled and then started walking. He stopped and waited for Shilpa to follow and she did.
Back in the hospital Sid sneaked into the records room and began searching for Padma's file. Sid finally found the file and as soon as he opened it he saw Riddhima's name written beneath it.
He ran his finger over her name and sighed.
"I know I shouldn't hide this from you, but…it's not my truth to tell and it isn't the right time for you to know. Shilpa is a nice girl and she deserves to have her family and I know if you knew you would care for her but right now…I need to make sure that it really is true. I don't want to give her or you false hope and then have the truth come out. I just wish we were together…then maybe things would be different. We could have figured this out together and even if it wasn't true I would be there to support you but for now its best kept secret"-Sid whispered
Sid quickly scanned through the areas that Padma worked, but to his disappointment nowhere did he see Chandpur. So he quickly noted all the places she worked and stuffed the scrap of paper in his pocket. Just as he was about to put away a file he heard footsteps behind him.
"Sid"-
Sid turned to find Riddhima standing behind him and he quickly hid the file behind his back.
"Riddhima. Tum?"-Sid
"Yeah I thought I saw someone come in here. What are you doing here?"-Riddhima
"I don't want to lie and I can't tell the truth"-Sid
Sid saw the hurt in her face but even though he felt the same pain, there was a certain soothness he felt as he knew him hiding something from her affected her immensely.
"I thought we didn't have any secrets"-Riddhima with sadness in her voice
"That was when we were married. In friendship we are allowed to have some secrets"-Sid smiled trying to lighten the mood. Riddhima smiled but the grief was still clearly visible.
"Why did you turn down the job?"-Riddhima
"Huh?"-Sid confused and getting uncomfortable as the file was still behind his back
"The Houston Job"-Riddhima urgently
"oh I didn't want it"-Sid
"But it's a huge accomplishment and everyone wants that job"-Riddhima
Sid chuckled.
"Ridz I am happy here I don't need some job or accomplishment to make me happy. But it your dream so congrats"-Sid
"Sid…ever live a dream that you thought would make you happy and it turned out to be nothing but a nightmare"-Riddhima
"Not really. Most people run after dreams thinking that once they achieve they will be happy. But dreams are like…like looking at the moon. Man looks at the moon from down here and sees beauty in complete perfection. We chase after the dream of having a closer look and when we touch the moon, we realize it is nothing but rocks. Just because the dream looks beautiful in your eyes doesn't mean breathing that dream is going to be just as beautiful"-Sid
"So what do you ran after?"-Riddhima
"What my heart tells me to run after."-Sid moving towards her
"Is it that easy to follow your heart?"-Riddhima moving back
Sid walks past her and turns to look at her.
"Sometimes the reality penetrates the mind with fear, but the heart has to overcome it if you ever want a shot at happiness. Riddhima the heart is never confused, we are because we are afraid of the consequences of following our heart. But one day the heart won't only show you clearly what you want but will also make you do incredible things to achieve"-Sid
Before Riddhima could respond Sid walked out, leaving Riddhima standing alone in the darkness.
"I know what my heart wants Sid, I just don't know whether I deserve to have it"-Riddhima whispered to the spot where Sid stood a moment ago. Riddhima located the desk and chair in the darkness and laid her head on the desk to rest for a moment. She allowed sleep to take her to the dream she had been having since she could remember, the dream where she was with Sid. And it was the only time she felt at peace.
Just as soon as Sid walked out he realized he still had the file in his hand. He peeked inside the record room to find Riddhima sleeping at the desk. He tip toed in and placed the file back. He walked up to the desk and got down on his knees so that his face was leveled with Riddhima's.
He brushed a strand of her hair of her face so that he could clearly see the smile that spread across her beautiful face. He brushed her cheek with the back of his hand and felt her warmth sink into his own skin. He felt lighter just by being around her, as if nothing existed but this moment. He leaned in to inhale her breath and allow it to reach his heart before gently touching her lips with his own. The moment their lips he felt all the stress of the day lift away from him, leaving him renewed with life.
He backed away a little and took in the face that he carried with him every moment.
"Sid."-Riddhima whispered
Sid smiled as he stroked her cheek one last time before leaving her.
Riddhima felt warmth on her lips, not her own and yet familiar. She touched her lips as if his touch still remained on her lips. A tear dropped on the desk as she knew that it wasn't possible for his touch to be on her lips.
