So she is ready for a counselling now.. why didn't she do it then??.. I won't blame Dev completely. for me it's 75-25... 75% Geet is responsible. See, Dev doesn't know anything about her when they got married. He even gave her 1 year but still she didn't try to open up. If she had opened up herself why she did it like that, i am sure that dev might have put in some efforts.

If we think from his POV; he was only 24; still struggling to prove himself and rejected by his own wife. The things that she used to do there can be done even by a maid. Don't misunderstand me, I am not telling that sex is everything but it's something but most important is trust and understanding. They never had that and she also didn't try from her end too.

I am eagerly waiting to see what happens next and how Maan and Geet is going to take their relationship to next level. Also, I don't want Maan to give in everytime. Compromises and sacrifices can be done from her end too... 😊

.. i feel.. maan is facing a fear of losing where as geet has already faced it when she wrote the letter... a simple gesture.. I will surely get into more details later... got to run now..

She was not even aware of what was happening to the girl who got raped.

Where would Geet go..whom would Geet talk to..how would Geet express herself...

She was frightened to death, scared to go near a man...how can she have a trusting relationship with Dev..when she was scared of men n to add on to that....she was told she will just have to marry at that tender age. How can she open up...when she is scared n frightened?

Lets not forget the fact that she was away from everyone.....away in Canada..thousands of miles away for any comfort and support system.

Geet cannot be blamed for 75%. Life happens...and sometimes you just do not know how to deal with it. A person learns from experience and with the help of people around them.

Dev was just struggling with basic n normal things in life that a guy had to do....career, etc.

But Geet was struggling with much more complex issues.

R we gonna cut some slack for Geet or what?

Water dear, you got me wrong. See I am telling that Geet should have opened up to Dev. How can anyone guess she had a bitter past ?.. The same would have happened with Maan too if she hadn't told him about this.. But here she opened up coz of the fear of loosing him and she is ready for a counseling too.

The thing is that she never loved Dev.. then how can she blame him??.. See I am not taking Dev's side.. What I am trying to say is that .. this Geet's character is very complex.. she has got insecurties and egoes ( may eb due to her past and family) for her own. If she didn't try to find a solution for them then I doubt if she ever will be successfull in any relationship..

I guess this question of opening up to Dev was just answered....it's but obvious she was young..married off to a guy whom her sister was supposed to marry and let alone not just marry but live in another continent....don't you think the fear would have increased ??
Now that she was away from her family her kith n kin in an unknown nation and with an unknown man...and that too at the very age of 18 ?? Don't you think these fears n inhibitions would have multiplied what if Dev tries to do anything ?? and also that Dev tried to be harsh to her ...ok he waited one year.....but after that did he try to ask her the reason how can it be just her fault that the relationship snapped up? he could have been calm with her and not desperate......

Yeah its true she never loved Dev...coz he never tried to understand her....I don't find Geet at fault again the reasons stated above.......and yes she opened up to Maan not just for the fear of losing him or because she felt he understood her but because there is trust.....trust that she knows he won't judge her....and maybe she never felt that secure with Dev....

And i feel Geet is not blaming Dev in any sense its just the way of conveying things....Shez had her set of misunderstandings and ego clashes with Maan too....but they did get resolved..... and every person has their insecurities and ego.....Geet is not a complex character shez just a victim of circumstances and a misunderstood person......Dev didn't try to pursue her either that she do the same to him......despite the fact being young....maybe she might have tried to give another chance but Dev ruled out that possibility too......

And one failed relationship and bitter personality and identity issues at some point of time does not necessarily mean that a person can't have any successful relationship in their lifetime...and ain't it true, that a person learns from his own mistakes ?? though at times it takes a lot of time....but she had to come outta her shell she did....see it's all psychological you just can't blame Geet for having a failed relation with Dev.....at the end it takes 2 hands to clap not one !
