"Come in"
She came in "yes sir" Armaan looked up from file "yes Ridhimaa wo Mr.Taneja se hamari meeting kab ki fix hue hai?"
"Main check kar ke batati hoon" she was about to move when "what do you mean check karti hoon? Tumhe pata hona chahiye" remarked Armaan strictly.
"wo actually' he cut her in between "actually aap ko kaam karne me koi interest hi nahi hai" he closed the file.
"Yeh tum" she immediately correct herself "I mean aap kya keh rahe hai?"
"wahi jo sach hai tum logo ki yahi problem hain badi badi baatein toh kar sakte hai per kaam... huh! WO tumhaare bas ki baat nahi" she was about to reply but he never allowed her.
"after all 'THE SHESHANK GUPTA' ki beti ko kaam karne ki aadat kaise ho sakti hai?"
"What?" she was shocked. how he can say that that to about her father?
"What what? Look ager tumhe kaam nahi karna to plz aapna aur mera waqt barbaaad karne ki koi jarurat nahi hai"
Ridhimaa was getting really angry now. He was continuous babbling not giving her a single chance to speak. She was on the verge of losing her calm but he didn't stopped "u know what aise kai log hain jo tumse jyada deserving hain aur atleast wo kaam karne main koi bahane toh nahi banayenge"
This was it. It was height for her now "enough is enough" she shouted loudly "mujhe kaam karne me problem hain? subah se... subah se main tumhaara her chota bada kaam kar rahi hoon and you are saying that ki mujhe kaam karne main problem hai' ek meeting ka schedule hi toh nahi pata naa aur tumne mujhe itna suna diya' what do u think haan? Main koi robot yaa computer hoon jo tumhare mahine bhar ka schedule yaad rakhoon aur wo bhi tab jab tum mujhe har 5 minute main bulate ho... aur kya kaha tumne ki mujhe formals pehne chahiye' listen Mr.Armaan Mallik I'll wear what I want to wear aur waise bhi aisa koi rule bhi nahi hai so u can't force me and one more important thing no one I mean no one talks to Ridhimaa Gupta like this not even you my dearest boss" she was now in flow and pouring everything out. Armaan was listening all this like 'pravachana'. He didn't interfere for once but there was one more person who was witnessing this.
Armaan saw him and turn his attention from Ridhimaa to him "arre bhai?" Ridhimaa stopped immediately hearing this. She turned only to find Atul standing there with some weird expression.
Atul just come to know that Ridhimaa got appointed as Armaan's PA so he went to congratulate her but she was not in her cabin. So he went to Armaan's cabin and opened the door without bothering to knock and what he saw Armaan was sitting quietly like a poor school boy and Ridhimaa was scolding him. He cannot believe his eyes. Atul, leave Atul not even Sanjay has scolded Armaan like this and this girl his sister-in-law and Armaan's 4 hour old PA was scolding him and he was listening all this quietly?
Armaan saw him and went toward him "hello bhai?"
*No reply*
"Hello bhai?" Armaan kept his hand on Atul's shoulder "hello bhai bhai to earth'"
"a' ha' haan" Atul come out of the trauma.
"Bhai are you all right?"
"Main toh thik hoon per yahaan kya ho raha tha?" asked Atul more balanced now.
"a' wo bhai' wo' Ridhimaa tum jao" he ordered her. Ridhimaa, who was searching something in marble of the floor just flew from there without a word.
"Yes?" Atul was now in full control now Armaan gulp down *ahem* *ahem* he cleared his throat "bhai wo aap bathiye naa" Armaan was really nervous.
"Armaan don't try to change the topic" Atul said strictly.
'oh god think AM think isse pehle bhai ke ander james bond ki spirit aa jaye kuch toh karna padega' kya karu? yeah' That's a great idea' my... my' you are too good' a smile came over his face finding his way to escape.
"Yeh tu toothpaste ki ad ki tahar kyon smile kar raha hai?" Armaan who busy patting himself come out of his thoughts hearing Atul's voice and quickly adjusted his expressions "nahi bhai wo actually aaj bhabhi ka phone aaya tha" Atul become alert at this.
"Kya Anjali ka phone? kab? kyon? sab thik toh hai na? usne mujhe kyon phone nahi kiya?" Atul asked all this questions in one breath.
"Bhai bhai relax sab thik hai wo kya hai naa ki aaj bhabhi ghar per akele thi toh unhone mujhe phone kar diya" Armaan strolled towards his chair "ab aap toh itna busy rehte hai bhabhi ko time hi nahi de patein" he saw Atul from corner of his eyes "ab bechari bhabhi kare bhi toh kya kare" he saw Atul in deep thoughts and continued "seriously bhai aap kitne dino se bhabhi ko bahar bhi nahi le gaye" Atul who was deeply engrossed in his though became alert at this "kya Anjali ne yeh sab kaha?"
'bulls eye!' Armaan stopped himself from literally jumping "nahi bhai bhabhi kahan apne muh se kabhi kuch bolti hain per main toh dekh sakta hoon na seriously bhai aapko bhabhi ke saath thoda time spend karna chahiye"
Atul stood up from his chair "you are right main aaj hi nahi abhi Anjali ko movie dikhane le jata hoon"
"That's a great idea bhai main aapke liye tickets book karwata hoon" Atul turned to him "thanks ammy tu nahi hota toh mere kya hota"
"Oh come on bhai you don't need to thank me" they hugged each other and Atul left the cabin..
*sigh* he sighed in relief and thanked god for his born intelligent brains. How he would have explained it to Atul? Why his PA was scolding him? God it would have been most embarrassing situation but thanks to god he got the key' Anjali, Obviously, Anjali was a key for Atul. Atul just forget everything when it comes to Anjali. That's why he made that excuse and it indeed worked. But the expressions on Atul's face were priceless. He was looking at Armaan and Ridhimaa like he has seen Mallika sherawat in decent cloths. Well in case of expressions Ridhimaa's expressions were hell noticeable. But he was happy that he finally succeeded.
He already knew that Ridhimaa was at AM Enterprises for interview. He knew that she was talented so he told Ajit about her and Ajit selected her as directed. It was not like she was selected only because of his recommendation. She had really impressed Ajit and impressing Ajit was not everyone's cup of tea.
Next day when he entered his cabin he found her near a Monet deeply engrossed in it. She was so engrossed that she didn't even realize his presence. He came quietly and stood right behind her. She felt something behind her and turned immediately only to find him. Her expressions were priceless, firstly shocked than confused then angry. Anger god knows why she always used to get so pissed off just by his presence.
Next moment she surprised him. She was literally pushing him out of his own cabin. He was confused that she didn't know her boss. She would have thrown him out of his own cabin but thanks to Ajit who came to his rescue at right time and when Ajit told her that Armaan is her boss her expressions were out of the world. After that when he first time called her in his cabin, he found her little nervous. but what she was nervous of? Of him? No that can't be possible. She was a fighter and a fighter can't be nervous but he was her boss and the scene that was created just a moment ago? May be that she was scared of. But nah! He like the fighter Ridhimaa not this nervous... scared Ridhimaa. So, he decided to get her back in her normal self. He quickly made his plan of action and implemented it on her.
He started to talk to her as rudely as possible, calling her in every 5 minutes for something or sometimes just for nothing. He noticed her annoyance when she firstly said 'tum' instead of 'aap' but immediately corrected herself. She was on the verge of losing her clam so he started to comment on her and it worked she broke her good PA image and switched to her fighter mode.
It felf nice. He wanted her to be normal, to be herself. He wanted her to be comfortable around him, with him' and he did that.
MALLIK MENSION
Someone was hiding behind the curtains "hello' haan' sab intazaam ho gaya' good' haan main aa jaunga' haan kisi ko pata nahi chalna chahiye' bye" he cut the call and turned to found her standing there with both the hands of her waist.
He gulp down "Anjali tum itni raat ko yahaan kya kar rahi ho" she advanced toward him "don't you think yeh mera question hona chahiye tha?"
"Wo main' wo main anny se milane aaya tha"
Anjali narrowed her eyes at this "anny koun anny?"
"Aare anny mere new plant ka naam hai achacha hai naa?" but Anjali was still not satisfied. Atul saw this and continued "main subah hi lekar aaya use toh main actually yeh dekhane aaya tha ki wo yahaan comfortable hain ya nahi you know new place hain na toh shayad bichari ko nind nahi aa rahi hogi toh wahi dekhne aaya tha sach"
"Tum itni raat ko yahaan yeh dekhane aaye the?" she was still a bit unsure.
"Haan" said Atul nervously. There was a moment of silence.
"Oh god Atul tum bhi naa thik hain main sone jaa rahi hoon tum bhi jaldi aa jaana ok" and she left from there shaking her head she knew Atul can act like a complete manic when it come to his soul dear plants.
He sighed in relief what if Anjali come to know this? He will be so dead but what he can do it's a 31th night Party. It was Armaan's Party' he was already there. But if Anjali come to know this she will definitely kill him. She will never allow him to attain such Parties. No he couldn't take the risk but 31st Party that will be so cool, atul thought. Armaan had already called him many times, making his mind he left the house.
MALLIK MENSION
*knock*
He heard the knock but paid no attention toward it'
"Armaan' Armaan"
No reply
"Armaan' Armaan' darwaja kholo Armaan?" he slowly opened his eyes hearing the familiar voice. It was Anjali's.
"Coming bhabhi" he replied lazily as he heard her voice again. He moved toward the door still very much in sleep and opening the door asked "kya hai bhabhi?"
"Armaan finally tumne darwaja toh khola pata hai main kab se knock kar rahi thi aur" he cuts her in between "bhabhi aapne yeh bolane ke liye mujhe uthaya tha?" she smiled hearing this "nahi mujhe tumse kuch kaam tha and one very important thing happy new year sleeping beauty" and ruffled his hairs saying this.
A beautiful smile crept on his gorgeous face "happy new year bhabhi" wished Armaan hugging her. He parted from the hug taking a step back and checked her from top to bottom. Anjali had a questioning look on her face.
"Bhabhi maine aapka kya bigada hai? aap mere saath aisa kyon kar rahi hain?" Anjali didn't understand what he was talking about "Armaan tum yeh kya keh rahe ho? Maine kya kiya hai?"
"Oh come on bhabhi don't try to be innocent now?" Anjali was hell confused "Armaan tum kya keh rahe ho mujhe kuch samajh nahi aa raha" he shook his head and sighed "bhabhi aapko pata hai aapko dekhkar mere dil ki dhadkan almost ruk gayi thi I mean it's not fair bhabhi" she was about to say something but he never allowed her "seriously bhabhi ager aap itni khubsurat lagengi toh meri heartbeat rukegi hi naa" he said all this so seriously that Anjali took few minutes to register what exactly he meant.
Finally it strike her "Armaan tum phir start ho gaye"
"Ab kya karu bhabhi aapko dekhakar mujhe har bar yahi feel hota hai ki kaash meri shadi aapse hoti waise main toh abhi bhi tayyar hoon ager aap kahein toh" he was fully awake now "Armaan main marungi haan jaldi se fresh hoker nich aa jao tumhe yaad hai na aaj pooja hai"
"Pooja? Koun pooja?" He asked seriously.
"Armaan!!!!" she said strictly
"ok baba aap chaliye main abhi aata hoon"
"Ok jaldi aana" and she left the room.
Armaan and Atul were Partying whole night. They came home early morning. Armaan would have stayed longer but Atul remind him about pooja and they came early in the morning. There was a pooja in Mallik mansion today as it was first day of New Year. So Sanjay decide to have a pooja in mansion. Gupta's were also invited for the pooja.
Armaan was now helping Anjali in preparations. Sanjay and Atul were also busy with the arrangements. Armaan was instructing some servants, when he heard "Armaan' Armaan'" he turned toward the source of the voice. Anjali came running "Armaan" she was breathing heavily.
"Slow down bhabhi marathon main abhi time hain"
"Armaan' ye tum' tum jara pandit ji ko puch lo ki wo kab aa rahe hain aur unhe lene ke liye gadi bhej dena"
"Ok I'll do it and bhabhi relax saari preparations ho jayengi" he turned to make a call when suddenly lights went off.
"Oho yeh lights ko kya ho gaya" he heard Anjali.
"Don't worry bhabhi main check karta hoon" he made his way towards the main door as main switch was outside. He reached the door and collided with something and with this collision light came back.
Ridhimaa reached the Mallik mansion. She was going to enter the main door when all lights went off'. She reluctant moved towards the entrance as she was a bit phobic to dark. She kept her first step in house and collided with someone.
She closed her eyes tightly with the fear. She was scared firstly of dark and then this collision. Armaan saw the reason of his collision in his arms. She slowly opened her eyes and found the pair of blur oceans staring intensively in hers. He was kind of lost in her. Every time, every single time he found her more beautiful than ever. He didn't know why he always felt warmth in his heart whenever she was around.
He had never felt this with any other girl. He had seen and been with many girls but no one had this effect on him. He must admit that she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen and that innocence she wears it just enhanced her beauty more. She moved her gaze away feeling his intense gaze and straightened herself. Armaan was still a bit lost when he heard a large squeal.
"ridziii"
"Di" Ridhimaa ran towards Anjali leaving him behind.
"Happy New Year di" Ridhimaa wished hugging her "same to you sweetie" both the sisters were now busy in there chat session. No one was paying any attention towards him. Shaking his head Armaan left them there.
