13 Missed Calls

Ridhimaa entered the house all happy it was indeed the great day well except her morning encounter with Mr. annoying Mallik. The interview was really great. The interviewer was very impressed by her resume and her knowledge. He was so impressed by her that he immediately handled the appointment letter and she was to join from tomorrow. It was all hurry-hurry case but still she didn't mind it. She also wanted to start as soon as possible. She found Padma in the hall and hugged her tightly.

"Maaa"

"Riddhi are kya kar rahi hai chod mujhe"

"Maaa aaj main bohot khush hoon mujhe job mil gayi" said Ridhimaa Parting from the hug.

"Such?" to which Ridhimaa nodded her head in yes "oh mujhe to pehle hi pata tha yeh job tujhe hi milegi tu ruk main abhi tere papa ko yeh batakar aati hoon wo bohot khush honge"

MALLIK MENSION

"Atul' Atul' Atulll"

"Tch kya hai Anjali? kyon chilla rahi ho?"

"Atul yeh kya hai?"

"File hai Anjali" Atul answered not looking toward her he was busy reading a file.

"Atul meri taraf dekhkar jawab do" to which Atul looked up toward the very angry Anjali.

"k'..k'kya hua Anjali tum itne gusse me kyon ho?" Asked Atul nervously.

"Yeh kya hai?" asked Anjali pointing toward the cell phone in her hand.

"Ye'.yeh toh mobile hai"

"Mujhe pata hai ye mobile hai" said Anjali greeting her teeth "isme kya hai?"

"Kya silly question puch rahi ho Anjali"

"What tumne mujhe silly kaha?"

"Nahi arre nahi nahi main toh keh raha tha ki"

"Bas bas mujhe sab samajh aa raha hai, yeh shefali kyon hai?"

"Shefali? koun shefali? Main kisi shefali ko nahi janta"

"Achcha tum nahi jante?" asked Anjali sweetly to which Atul shook his head in no "oh tumhe lagta hai main bewkoof hoon?"

"Haan mera matlab nahi nahi"

"Toh yeh kya hai? agar tum isse nahi jante toh isne tumhe 13 missed calls kyon di aur upper se message bhi bheja hai"

"Kya?" yelled Atul taking mobile from her hand he found 13 missed calls and 1 message "Armaan" he groaned under his breath "per Anjali believe me main isse nahi jaanta"

"Bas Atul aaj raat tum bahar kamre se bahar rahoge."

"Kya? lekin Anjali sunno toh" but before he could explain she left from study.

Armaan came out of the room looking all dashing wearing white tea shirt, blue jeans and gray jacket. Whistling, all ready for the Party'

"Ready for the Party?"

"Oh bhai you scared me"

"Toh Party main jaa rahe ho?"

"Yes bhai per aap yahaan kya kar rahe ho"

"Kuch nahi sab tumhari meharbani hain"

"Kya? kya meri kya???????"

"Meharbani ehsaan"

"O like that your most welcome bhai" said Armaan putting his hand on Atul's shoulder.

"Shut up" Atul jerked off his hand off from his shoulder "yeh shefali kyon hai?"

"Huh! shefali wo' ek minute aap usse kaise jaante hai oh no bhai aap ne mere piche jassos chode hai"

"What? Ammy?"

"Please bhai mujhe aapse ye umeed nahi thi aap'..ager bhabhi ko pata chal gaya toh"

"Usse pata chal gaya aur usne mujhe room se nikal diya"

"Kya? Really? Sorry bhai but you deserve that aap is tarah meri personal life'" before he could complete Atul smacked him on his hand.

"Aaa what?"

"You jerk yeh dekh teri shefali ne mere mobile pe 13 missed calls aur messages bheje hai"

"Achcha? per aapko kyon oh my god aap ka uske saath affair chal raha hai" concluded Armaan only to get another smack on his shoulder.

"Kya hai bhai?"

"You dump ye message tere naam se hain Anjali ne sirf sender ka naam dekha message nahi dekhe warna use pata chal jaata, ab teri wajah se mujhe guest room me sona padega"

"Oh so sorry bhai wo parso maine aapke phone se shaifi ko call kiya tha shayad usne yahi number store kar liya sorry"

"Yaa sorry"

"Sorry bhai aap mere room me so jaiye"

"Achcha? aur tu kahaan soyega?"

"Oh don't worry bhai main aaj nahi aa raha"

"Matlab?"

"Matlab main aaj shaifi ki Party me jaa raha hoon aur aaj wahin rukoonga" said Armaan winking at him "Bye bhai"

"Bye" said Atul and went to Armaan's room it was usual now, late night Parties and then' Armaan usually used to spend his nights somewhere else with' after all Armaan Mallik was a celeb. Atul was deeply engrossed in his thoughts. He worried What if his dad comes to know about this? Well he is very cool person but if he come to know about Armaan's fl***s than god knows what will he do. He was the man of principle. Being a older brother Atul just couldn't do anything. whenever he tried to talk about it Armaan gave some idiotic logics' like whenever he will find the perfect girl he will be completely committed to her till then he is enjoying his life and all'

IN MORNING

Armaan opened his eyes it was still dark in the room. He turned towards his left to find the naked body lying beside him. He switched on the light. It was 8.00 in the morning. He was late. If his dad came to know this then he will be so dead. He quickly wore his clothes and rushed out of the room giving the last glance towards the person who was still in the deep slumber. It was shefali's Party. She was literally drooling over him. They made wild love all the night. She was damn sexy and really good in the bed he has to admit that. May be he will a visit to her some time with this thought he left from there.

GUPTA HOUSE

"Mom mom aap yeh kya kar rahi hai?"

"Chuppkar nazer utarne de aaj tere pehla din hai bhagwan sab thik kare meri bachchi ko buri nazar se bachaye"

"Yeh dahi hai kisi bhi kaam ki shuruaat karne se pehle dahi khana shubh hota hai"

"Maa *sigh* achcha layiye" said Ridhimaa defeated. She checked her watch "oh god I am late achcha ma main chalti hoon bye love you"

"Bye sambal ke jana''"

"Good morning sir"

"Oh Miss. Gupta please have a sit"

"Thank you sir I hope I am not late?"

"Well no you are not but from tomorrow morning you have to be here sharp at 8.00"

"Only Ajit will do Miss. Gupta"

"Ok but Its Ridhimaa Ajit"

He smiled "ok Ridhima chaliye main aapko aapka cabin bata doon"

"A' matlab yeh cabin"

"Oh no it was just temporary wo actually mere cabin me kuch repairing work chal raha tha so'.shall we move?"

"Sure"

They came out of the cabin and started moving toward Ajit's cabin which was now Ridhimaa's cabin.

"Toh Ridhimaa I know it's quite fast but I just can't help it main aaj dophar ki flight se aapne hometown jaa raha hoon so main aapko detail main kuch nahi samjha sakta so I'll tell u the basic things. AM sir ka schedule aur unki kuch khaas aadaten"

"So shall we start?"

"Yes sir"

"Well Ridhimaa AM sir is really nice but he is very strict when it comes to work. Unke aane se pehle unka cabin bilkul saaf ho jaana chahiye wo aane ke baad sabse pehle black coffee lete hain without suger uske baad wo apna schedule sunte hain" Ridhimaa was listening all this very attentively making note of everything mentally.

"So we are here'yeh hai mera cabin I mean ab aapka cabin aur aaj se aap AM sir ki personal assistant hain'Toh kaise laga cabin"

"It's really nice"

"That's good you like it well yeh sir ka next 1 month ka schedule hai and aur isme hamare saare business associates ke aur baki important contact hai" said Ajit handling the schedule and a contact dairy to Ridhimaa.

"So Ridhimaa yeh hai sir ka cabin" Ajit opened cabin door "Yahaan ye attached bedroom hain jahaan sir kabhi kabhi aaram karte hain yeh hai sir ka workout are. One important thing Ridhimaa make sure aap sir ke aane se pehle yeh cabin roz saaf karwaye he is very particular about it. One more thing unke bedroom area me kabhi enter mat karna in fact aaj tak main bhi kabhi vahaan nahi gaya'..next thing don't argue with him he gets really cranky sometimes'.When he says no that means no don't even bother to talk" Ridhimaa was listing all this very carefully and now she was quite nervous Ajit sensed her nervousness'

"Oh Ridhimaa don't be nervous he is really good just do as he says' follow his orders and he will be the best employer anyone could ask for trust me I am working with him from past 4 years" to which she just nodded slightly.

"Oh Ridhimaa it's a very important call you just sit here I'll just come" and with that Ajit moved out of the cabin. Ridhimaa was alone there. The cabin was actually very beautiful and the man must have the class she has to admit that. It was quite a time since Ajit was out for the call. Ridhimaa was now roaming around the office freely when suddenly, the door opened and someone entered the cabin. Ridhimaa was so engrossed in her inspection that she neither noticed the voice of door knob nor realized presence of the person behind her.

Suddenly Ridhimaa felt something behind her so she turned immediately only to find him very close to her' just behind her. She immediately moves back'

"Tum?????????" She shouted shocked "tum yahaan kya kar rahe ho?" He didn't say anything while she continued "tum yahaan kya kar rahe ho?*pause* ek minute tum ne kal mujhe yahaan drop kiya tha to tum mera picha karte hua yahaan aa gaye''?" he was still quite.

"Oh god ab kuch bologe bhi aur yeh mere boss ka cabin hai tum bahar niklo yahaan se?" it was a limit; he was not moving an inch not even saying anything. she was confused now if he was real or what???? She went near him and poked her finger in his shoulder.

"Aaa kya kar rahi ho??"

"Finally mujhe laga tum ya toh koi statue ho ya to meri imagination?"

"Oh to tum mujhe imagine bhi karne lagi"

"Huh! Meri imagination itni buri nahi hai"

"Oh really now" he said sitting on the chair.

"Yeh tum kya kar rahe ho?" asked Ridhimaa angrily.

"Kya? kya kar raha hoon? dikhayi nahi deta well wrong question mujhe toh pehle hi pata tha tumhe dikhai nahi deta to main tumhe bata doon yeh chair hain isper baithate hain aur main baith raha hoon"

"Aaarh tum pehle to bin bulaye mehmaan ki tarah office me ghus aaye aur ab yahaan MD ki chair pe baith gaye"

"Toh kya hua MD ki ho ya peon ki chair to chair hai"

"Shut up just shut up tum utho yahaan se" she said while pulling him from his arm and led him toward the door. She opened the door he didn't protest, he was all quite. Ajit ended the call and was coming toward the MD's office when the door fell open.

"Ridhimaa?"

"Ajit sir just one minute main abhi ise bahar nikal deti hoon" said Ridhimaa pulling Armaan by his hand.

"Ridhimaa aap yeh kar kya rahi hain?" asked Ajit bewildered.

"Aap rukiye' aur tum bahar nikalo" ordered Ridhimaa turning toward Armaan.

"Ridhimaa Ridhimaa' chodiye inhe Ridhimaa chodiye" said Ajit freeing Armaan's hand from her grasp.

"Per Ajit '" Ajit cut her in between "Ridhimaa bas'"now turning toward Armaan "sorry sir I thing koi misunderstanding ho gayi hai"

Armaan, who was silent till now adjusted his blazer properly and walked inside the cabin towards his sit "So Ajit ye hai tumhara selection?" asked Armaan making himself comfortable on the chair.

Ajit looked toward the floor and murmured "sorry sir wo actually new hai toh'"

"Don't try to defend her Ajit'.kamaal hai tumne ek aisi ladki ko is post ke liye select kiya hai jise yeh tak nahi pata ki uska boss koun hain'wo kiske liye kaam kar rahi hai"

"AM sir wo'"

"Wo kya Ajit ?'*sigh* btw tumhe aaj jana tha naa?"

"Oh haan kafi time ho gaya hai sir if you don't mind?"

"Sure Ajit but jane se pehle dad se mil lena unhe kuch kaam hain tumse"

"Ji sir" with that Ajit moved out of the cabin giving the last glance toward Ridhimaa who was still in shocked state'.Armaan was her boss'she was working for him and she was pushing her boss out of his own cabin. What a fool she has made of herself'soon she came out of her thoughts with the voice "Miss. Ridhimaa Gupta"

"Ji'Ji sir" Ridhimaa replied nervously.

"Finally I though aap kisi aur planet per pohonch gayi hain well so Ridhimaa I hope you won't mind me calling you by your name???????"

Ridhimaa opened her mouth to answer but he cut her "well I don't care you mind or not so Ridhimaa Ajit ne kaha tum new ho so let me introduce myself I am Armaan Mallik MD of AM enterprises tum ko yahaan meri PA ki post per appoint kiya gaya hai Itna kafi hai yaa aur kuch bataoun?"

"A'nahi'..wo 'I 'I'm'.I'm sorry mujhe pata nahi tha" mumbled Ridhimaa nervously.

"Hmm'.so Ridhimaa ye tumhari pehli aur aakhiri galti hain mujhe galti karne wale log nahi pasand'I hope Ajit ne tum ko thik se bata diya hoga ki tumhe kya karne hain right??????"

"Ji" said still looking downward.

"Fine get me my schedule aur yeh coffee thandi ho gayi hain mere liye dusari coffee lekar aao"

She nodded slightly and moved from there Armaan was busy reading a file. "Ridhimaa" she turned slowly.

"Yeh coffee mug le jao yahaan se" ordered Armaan still looking into the file.

"What?????????" asked Ridhimaa bewildered ' how can he say that I am his PA not his peon or something??????' she thought.

"What what???? Sunayi nahi deta yeh coffee mug yahaan se le jao am I clear to you miss. Gupta?" said Armaan glaring at her and for the first time in her life she was scared actually scared she took the cup and stirred out of his cabin. he was so different' so rude' so angry' he was not the same Armaan she met yesterday'..he was new' new Armaan' a complete stranger' she didn't know why but she was scared of him the way he was talking to her, the way he was glaring at her that scared her.

"Tumhe kisne kaha tha uske samne jane ke liye?" said the person angrily.

"Lekin use pata tha hum wahaan hain" said another person with slight difficulty as his lips where bleeding now.

"Dimaag kharaab hai tumhaara ager use pata chal bhi gaya tha toh tum wahaan se nikal nahi sakte the tumhe usper hamla karne ko kisne kaha tha?"

"Lekin sir uski wajah se hamara saara kaam bigad gaya"

"So what pichali baar jo hua uski wajah se aaj bhi mujhe in andheron ka sahara lena padta hain aur tum'tumhari ek galti aur sab kuch barbad ho jayega" said the first person moving toward the bar.

"Lekin sir kab tak hum aise hi chupkar rahenge kabhi na kabhi toh hume samne aana hi hoga"

"Haan mager sahi waqt aane per' yeh India hai yahaan usper haat dalana itna aasan nahi hame soch samajhkar kadam badhana hoga"

"Thik hai sir toh ab aage hume kya karna hain?"

"Filhaal tum sirf usper nazar rakho"

"Ji sir"

"Enough is enough samjhata kya hain apne aap ko boss hain iska matlab yeh thode naa hain ki uske jo dil me aayega wo kahega" mumbled Ridhimaa angrily shutting the door of her cabin and slumping in her chair "duffer bas orders dena aata hai aise behave kar raha hain jaise sirf ek yahi kaam karta hai baki to sab bekar baithe hain"

Ridhimaa was really very angry. Armaan was behaving weirdly since morning. He was behaving so differently so rudely. He was calling her in every 5 minutes either for some file or to make any call for him and what not!!!!!!!! She was fed up of this. He was completely depending on her for every miner thing and to add fuel to the fire he was not even talking properly. He was either shouting on her or giving orders like she was not his PA but any cheap servant. She was trying her best but still he was not satisfied. What she suppose to do to please him??????????? She was new. It was her first job can't he be little generous, little gentle with her?

In her every previous encounters with him he always used to annoy her but this, this was the limit. The way he was treating her was definitely not to annoy her. She was right about him he was rude, arrogant and full of himself. She was trying her level best to keep her temper in check but now he even have a problem with her dressing'

"Come in" garbled Armaan without looking toward the person.

"Sir aapne bulaya?"

"Yes, mujhe shimla project ki file chahiye" she sighed. he has again started it, she moved quietly toward the shelf and found the blue file with 'shimla project' written on it.

"Hmm'rakh do"

'hmm rakh do' she mimicked in her mind 'kabhi thank you word bhi nahi suna shayad isne''idiot'

"Aapko kuch chahiye sir" said Ridhimaa wearily.

"No you can leave" burbled Armaan without moving his gaze from his file. She opened the door but stopped as she heard him calling her. She rolled her eyes and turn slowly "yes sir'"

"Come here I want to tell you something"

She closed the door and walked to his table standing in front of him, waiting for him to continue''

"Ridhimaa its professional place it's not your home ok! So you have to wear formals" Ridhimaa's jaw tightened at this but still she tried to control and said "sir maine Ajit sir se is baare me bat ki thi unhe mere kapdon se koi problem nahi hai"

"Usse nahi hogi" he said cutting her "but mujhe hai" closing the file now looking toward her "I am your boss Miss. Ridhimaa not Ajit aur main chahta hoon meri PA jara presentable lage" her mouth fell open at this what the hell he think that she was not presentable (she was wearing the blue chudidar)

"But sir I wear this because I am comfortable in this" she said offended.

"Miss. Gupta it's not about your comfort you are my assistant Armaan Mallik's assistant you must look like the one"

"But" he cut her in middle "Ridhimaa from tomorrow onwards I want you to wear office wears not any stupid Indian stuff" ordered Armaan firmly.

"Yes sir" said Ridhimaa greeting her teeth.

"Nahi filhaal ke liye itne se kaam chala loongi but *pause* wapas aane ke baad mujhe saari details chahiye'"

"Ridhi tu bhi naa" Muskaan shook her head blushing "achcha ye sab chod tu bata kaisi hai?"

"Main? main thik hoon are haan mujhe naa tujhe ek bohot important baat batani hai"

"Kya? oh god don't tell me tujhe pyar ho gaya hai"

"Stop it Muskaan" said Ridhimaa seriously.

"Ok baba chill kar' bol kya bol rahi thi tu" asked Muskaan sweetly.

"Muski mujhe job mil gayi hai" sang Ridhimaa excitedly.

"Job?" asked Muskaan confused.

"Haan job aur wo bhi ek bohot achchi company me tujhe pata hai'" but before she could complete she heard Muskaan's shout'

"Nahiii" Ridhimaa kept the receiver away from her ear as Muskaan was shouting badly'

"Muski'.Muskaan' just stop it" hearing Ridhimaa's voice she became quite.

"Kya hai muski? kyon chill rahi hai? mere kaan ke parde faad diye"

"Ab chilloun nahi toh kya karu hum loot gaye barbaad ho gaye' sadak per aa gaye ab kya hoga Ridhi?"

"Kya?" asked Ridhimaa shocked.

"Haan aur nahi to kya hamare itne bure din aa gaye ki tu job karke hamara pet palegi hey bhagwan ye sunne se pehle main mar kyon nahi gayi" Muskaan started crying loudly.

"Muskaan tu yeh kya bol rahi hai?" askedRidhimaa bewildered.

"Lekin Ridhi you don't worry main aur Rahul abhi wapas aa jayenge"

"What? Muskaan tu sunegi bhi yaa"

"Nahi Ridhi aur kuch mat bol main samjh sakti hoon after all ab mujhe hi sab sambhalna hoga naa"

Ridhimaa hit her head with her hand she was trying to make Muskaan understand but now who can stop Muskaan express.

"Ridhi tu tension mat le tujhe job karne ki jaroorat nahi hai main hoo naa main Rahul ko bol dungi wo job karege waise to wo khota kisi kaam ka nahi hain per main usse kuch naa kuch karwa hi loongi don't worry ok?"

"Muskaan ek minute ke liye tu meri baat sunegi ya nahi"

"Per Ridhi"

"Muskaaan shut up and just listen hum thik hain kuch nahi hua main job aise hi kar rahi hoon you know experience and all its temporary just for 2 month"

"Tu sach bol rahi hai ya mera dil rakane ke liya?" asked Muskaan still unsure.

"Oh god Muskaan tu bhi raai ka pahaad banana to koi tujhse sikhe" said Ridhimaa shaking her head.

"Thank god main to dar hi gayi thi achcha yeh bata yeh tempo job kya hain?" asked Muskaan little confused.

"Oh yeh actually mujhe jis company main job mili hain naa main wahaan ke boss ki temporary PA hoon I mean jo pehle is post per the naa wo chutti per ja rahe hain to issiliye"

"Oh toh yeh baat hai per papa maan gaye? I mean tu kahiin aur job kar rahi hain yeh baat unhe pata hain na? ya tu chori chupe job kar rahi hai? dekh Ridhi jhoot bolana paap hain aur tu papa se jhoot bolke" Ridhimaa who was listening quietly just shook her head 'here she go again'can she ever stop..well no ways she was ultimate chatter box'

"Muskaan just listen maine jhoot nahi bola papa ko sab pata hain unhone hi mujhe permission di hain"

"Sach to thik hain aur waise bhi koun sa tu wahaan jyada din tikne wali hain" remarked Muskaan as the matter of fact.

"One sec one sec muski what do u mean? Main wahaan nahi tikungi?" asked Ridhimaa.

"come on tu aur kisi aur ke order follow kare impossible tu toh ulta aapne boss ko order dena start kar degi"

"Muskaan aisa kuch nahi hain" said Ridhimaa defensively.

"Oh please Ridhi tere gusse ko mujh se jyada koun jaan sakta hain in fact I am sure tu to khudh hi do din me resign kar degi"

"What do you think ki main yeh job nahi kar sakti?"

"Well sorry dear but yes kisi aur ki baat maanna yeh tere bas ki baat nahi hain" said Muskaan casually.

"U wish aisa kuch nahi hoga"

"Thik hain phir lagi bet main kahti hoon ki tu yeh job do mahine pure hone se pehle hi chod degi" said muskaan challengingly.
