'So I guess we should get to it, you haven't paid all this money to know my name.' She quickly removed her dupputta and hung it on the bed frame. His eyes travelled her, moving from her wild curls, to her deep yet sad eyes- his heart ached- was that pain he saw? He moved on to her rosy plump lips, then down to her bare neck and further. Seeing her heaving chest he closed his eyes and turned. 'Why am I so affected by you' he mumbled to him self. 'Oh come on baby you are a man there is nothing wrong with this, I am here to serve you!' He couldn't believe such an angelic face could have such thoughts, why did she think like this, she should be dreaming of her knight coming along to sweep her off her feet like all the other girls her age. Maan himself did not believe in such things, at the age of twenty four he had learned that life was not like the movies, love was merely a word thrown around aimlessly.

She walked up to him and started kissing his neck, he closed his eyes, feeling her breath trailing his skin. Her hands travelled up his arms, she moved her mouth ever so slowly to his ear and placed a bite when he was least expecting it. Shocked by her audacious act he turned and pinned her against the wall. For some reason that she couldn't understand, she enjoyed this, she loved his touch, she didn't mind that he was holding her a little to tight. He knew that he was hurting her but his need to control his passion had to be expelled somehow! 'What are you doing here, so, so, so cheap these acts of yours,' he was struggling to string his words together. Geet opened her eyes and was furious, how dare he use the word cheap, she was doing this because she wanted to, and anyway''I can ask you the same question, why are you here SIR?' she remarked. 'Isn't this what you paid all that money for?' she gathered all her might to push Maan off her. He almost fell to the floor. She ran to the post of the bed, looking away from him and embracing the post she closed her eyes. How dare he judge me- who is he to me! She thought inwardly 'Look Geet I am not here for what you think, I want to save you and the others from these vicious men who think they own you!' She turned around surprised, 'Wha, what are you talking about?' She looked at him eyebrows raised, unable to comprehend what he was saying.

Maan sat down on the bed and gestured her to come and sit next to him, she did as he said and looked eagerly at his face avoiding those alluring eyes. 'I am an undercover agent- well actually the chief, and I am running an operation to put Dev behind bars.' she sat starring at him. He felt uncomfortable with those beautiful eyes examining him so closely but he put this to the back of his mind. He continued 'I am simply here to gather information on his crimes and stop these despicable acts!' Before he could continue he felt a tight slap across his face. 'How dare you, these, these acts as you say, pay the bills'' she paused for breath 'I have nothing, I am nothing and if you get rid of Dev then how will I look after Rajji?' She turned away, she had vowed never to let any man see her tears, she would not give them the satisfaction. Maan shocked, went over to comfort her, he wanted to tell her that she did have other options but she wiped her face with both hands and pushed him away, 'Don't you dare'LEAVE or I will tell Dev everything!' Maan was shocked, what is this he thought, 'I am trying to save you'' She cut him off and exclaimed 'I don't need saving, I have managed just fine and will manage without you in the future, now leave!' She managed to say whilst holding her tears back. He was well and truly fuming now and stormed out banging the door behind him and threw the money at a surprised Dev. Pointing angrily at Geet's room, he told Dev that he wanted her every night for the next month if not longer. Dev counted the money and realised the man was serious. A shocked Geet had heard everything and fell to her bed in tears.

That night she had a million questions running through her mind, what did he want from her- 'every night,' was he going to torture her for her rudeness, in her heart of hearts she knew a man with such enchanting eyes was not capable of that. She wondered if she should she tell Dev, what would happen to her if he went to jail, what would she do with Rajji- she needed to be educated -Geet couldn't let her face this kind of life- her life. She finally drifted of to sleep with the lingering question of whether she really did need saving.
