Hey Guys! I'm here with the second Part.
Firstly, I would like to say, I know a lot of you are confused as to why I portrayed Armaan's character in such a way. Well guys, there are reasons behind this and you'll get to know the reasons in the upcoming parts. Also, in this FF I want to show how Ridhima changes Armaan from a stubborn, arrogant brat to someone who is well-mannered and knows how to give respect to his elders. I hope you guys will understand my point of view now...
Part 2: "I Want To Marry Her"
PRECAP:-
S: Ohhh, here come my daughters. ' Shashank pointed towards the stairs.
Armaan's eyes shot up straight to see who they were. He followed his hand which pointed towards the stairs and was shocked as he saw two contradicting appearances. One girl was all dressed up tight skinny jeans and a top while the other was dressed up in an Indian outfit.
What the..? Which one is Anjali from here? It has definitely got to be the one in the Indian outfit. As much as I have heard, in these sorts of meetings, the girl wears Indian outfits. So it is probably her. Hmmm..She's not that bad looking I guess. But what's up with her dressing sense? It's so disgusting. But check out the girl with tight jeans on..She looks hot. Unfortunately, she can't be Anjali? Or could she? Urghh! Too much confusion! Can't they just be introduced now?
Part 2
As Ridhima and Anjali both made their way down the stairs, Ridhima looked nervously at the three unfamiliar faces. For some reason she felt awkward as she felt someone gazing at her intently. There sat a handsome young man on the corner of the sofa, with his eyes set on her as if he was expecting something from her. Ridhima silently followed behind Anjali and they both took a seat on the sofa opposite Armaan.
Shashank: Yeh hai meri bari beti Anjali (He said pointing towards the girl seated in jeans and a low necked top) Aur yeh hai Ridhima, meri choti beti. (He pointed towards the girl sat in the Indian suit)
Armaan looked at both of them confusedly.
How is that possible? Why do I see two contradicting appearances? If she is Anjali, then why is she dressed like that? I thought this was India. Weren't the girls supposed to be all traditional and cultural? Ahh..maybe I should stop being stereotypical. Perhaps, Anjali is quite modern and all? He thought to himself.
Billy: Namaste beta.. (he looked at the the daughters)
Anjali: Ohh Hello Uncle and Aunty. (Anjali spoke, disinterestedly and then picked up a magazine and started reading it)
Billy and Ananya looked over at each other at Anjali's rude behaviour. They had come all the way from London for the proposal and she was hardly even interested?
Ridhima: Namaste Uncle aur Aunty. How was your flight? (Ridhima quickly spoke, covering up for her sister)
Ananya: Namaste Beta. Our flight was really nice. Thank you. (She smiled politely)
Ridhima: Umm..Yeh lijeeye. (She stammered, handing over the cup of tea which was placed on the small table to Billy and Ananya)
All throughout the small conversation Armaan became all the more confused. What the hell was happening? Why is that Anjali girl so full of attitude? She doesn't even know how to greet others. And on the other hand, there is her sister..She's so polite. Along with different appearances, they sure do have different personalities too. Armaan thought.
Shashank, however, had become quiet throughout the whole scene. He was absolutely embarrassed at how Anjali had let him down. He knew that this was going to be her attitude towards this wedding but he never thought that she would disappoint him to such an extent. He glared at her in disbelief as she busied herself with the magazine. When Shashank found no opportunity to signal her to be polite and stop reading the magazine, he finally spoke...
Shashank: Umm..Anjali beta. Tum aur urmm...Armaan AKELE mein baat kyun nahi karlete..You know, get to know each other and things. (He glared at her, signalling her to go with Armaan.)
Armaan was pulled out of his thoughts as soon as he heard Shashank say his name. He frowned at the thought of having to talk to Anjali. He looked at his dad, who gave him a nod. Armaan and Anjali both stood up at the same time and started walking up the stairs.
Ridhima simply sat there, silently, hoping that her sister gets married in a nice family.
As Armaan and Anjali neared a small corner of the house Anjali stopped him and sighed.
Anjali: Listen..urmm what was your name?
Armaan looked at her in disbelief. She didn't even REMEMBER his NAME? He was getting more and more furious at her as the time ticked by but decided to stay quiet, instead of making a issue. He wanted to go back to London desperately.
Armaan: It's Armaan
Anjali: Oh yeah..Listen Armaan, let me get everything clear to you. I know you must be confused about how I am dressed and the way I am behaving, but trust me I have my reasons. (She talked confidently)
Armaan: What reasons? (He waited patiently for her to carry on)
Anjali: I'm a model Armaan. Well, a struggling model at the moment. (Armaan's eyes opened wide, as he understood why she dressed up so modern) To be honest, I am being forced into this marriage. I have a career which I want to pursue and be successful in. (As the words sank in Armaan's mind, he now understood her rude behaviour downstairs. She was being FORCED into the marriage..just like he was).
Armaan: Ah, Anjali. It seems that we both are being forced in this marriage. Believe me, I am not interested in getting married either. I can't hang around with one girl for too long. (he chuckled)
Anjali looked at him unsurprised by his words. She had expected him to be a spoilt brat..and that's exactly how he turned out to be.
Anjali: Seriously Armaan, IF I am forced to marry you, then I'm not going to move to London. Please keep that in your mind.
Armaan: WHAT?! EXCUSE ME! There is NO WAY I am going to be living in this slum. I hate this frikkin' country! (He looked at her fiercely)
Anjali: Well Armaan, I cannot leave this country and ruin my career. I am yet to be a famous Fashion Model. (she smirked)
I can't believe this girl has the audacity to tell me what SHE wants to do! There is no way in this world that I'll stay in this damned country. I hate it. I frikkin' hate this slum! Armaan cursed her in his mind.
Armaan: Haha! You're funny. (sarcastically) Get this in your head too, honey, I am LEAVING this country as soon as I get married..Whether it is to YOU or SOMEONE ELSE! (Armaan fumed in anger and turned around to leave)
Anjali: Wait Armaan!..
Armaan turned around and looked at her questioningly. From that point on they continued to converse further..but what did they talk about? That remains a mysery..

Scene shifts to the main hall
Shashank: Ahumm..Mr Mallik, kya mein aap se akele mein baat kar sakta hoon? (he said, glancing at Ananya and Ridhima)
Billy: Sure Mr Mallik (He got up, along with Shashank and headed outside whilst Ridhima smiled at Ananya uncomfortably)
Billy and Shashank both walked into the garden and sat down on the small bench.
Billy: Haan Mr Gupta, aap ko kuch baat karni thi?
Shashank: Haan..woh mein..Mujhe woh Factory ki baat karni thi. Humne phone pe jiske bare mein baat kit hi.. (Hesitantly)
Billy: Ohhhh woh! Jee..Aap fikur mat kariye ga. As soon as Armaan and Anjali get married you will get my factory in London. But remember, in return we need Anjali to take care of Armaan and educate him the things me and Ananya couldn't... (Billy said, upset)
Shashank: That's great! How much is the factory worth? (smiled widely) And..yeah, Anjali will be a great wife to Armaan. Don't worry.
Billy: Well, the business is worth one million pounds. You can't even imagine how much that will be in Rupees. (Billy smirked)
Shashank: Ohh wow..I just can't wait for the wedding now. When will the factory papers be handed over to me?
Billy: On the night of the wedding Mr Gupta. (He smiled)
Shashank and Billy both continued conversing..

Scene shifts to Ridhima and Ananya
Ananya: Toh, Ridhima, What do you study? (She asked sweetly)
Ridhima: Jee Aunty, I have just finished doing a Interior Decorating Course. Now, I'm looking for a job to become successful in the field, that's what my Mum has always wanted.
Ananya: Awww That's really nice Ridhima. So, you're all set to fulfil your dreams?
Ridhima: Yes Aunty..I just hope I make my Mom proud.
Ananya: I'm very sorry to hear about your Mom, Ridhima. (Apologetically) When did she pass away?
Ridhima: She passed away when I was eight yrs old.
Ananya: Ohhh such a young age. But I'm sure she already must be proud of you..You have grown into such a sweet girl. (She smiled)
Ridhima: Awww Thank you Aunty. That's so sweet of you. (She smiled back at her)
Before they could communicate any further, they heard footsteps from upstairs and from near the door which led to the garden. Shashank and Billy walked inside after they had finished talking, only to find that Armaan and Anjali were also walking downstairs flashing smiles at them.
Billy: Arey Armaan...Tum dono ki baat hogayi? (he questioned)
Armaan: Haan Dad..
They all sat down again.
Shashank: Toh Anjali..Armaan..I hope you guys had a good chance to talk through everything..
Anjali: Yes Dad, we did (Anjali smiled, which was unexpected by Shashank)
Now, Armaan and Ananya both sat on one sofa, while Ridhima and Anjali sat on the sofa opposite them and Billy & Shashank sat on the sofa on the side.
Billy: Toh Armaan, tumhe Anjali pasan ayi? Are you read to get married now? (Billy questioned, ensuring that Armaan said a 'yes' by glaring at him)
Armaan: I'm ready to get married Dad... (Armaan said, smiling)
Billy was shocked out of his wits. Had Armaan actually agreed to the marriage?
Armaan: But not to Anjali, Dad. I want to marry her. (Armaan continued, pointing towards Ridhima).
