Later in the evening, "Misha we have to get ready!" says Panchi

"I am ready, I don't need to change" protests Misha
"Misha I am not going to let you go like this, beside it's kinda formal so no jeans or shorts are allowed" says
Panchi while applying her makeup
"But I haven't brought any fancy clothes"
"God Misha! You just irritate me to bits! Haven't I told you to pack a dress"
she giggles "I don't recall" and winks, looking at Piya
"don't worry Misha, I have something for you" says Piya softly looking at her mischievously, as she walks out the bathroo, Piya takes out two dresses from her suitcase

"Choose which one you want to wear" Misha looks at her stunned!
"wow look at these, they are so beautiful! New dresses?! Where did you buy them from?" says Panchi checking the dresses out
Piya giggles "I made them"
"No! Seriously?! That's awesome, these are really good! Did you design them?"
"Yes, I learnt how to sew from the orphanage, we used to have an old sewing machine, and I used to make dresses for kids there in my spare time, using less expensive fabrics and making them look good by adding a touch here and there, as you know with limited resources it's hard for them to get new clothes, I even managed to sell some in the annul charity sale"

Panchi with a stunned look "wow Piya you are very talented, these are very good and look like designers, you should have your own work shop and start a boutique someday, seriously!"
Piya giggles "I am not that good"
"Don't be modest! You are! These are too good! You know you can earn allot of money by doing this" she chuckles
"I never thought of becoming a designer! My studies was always my priority"
"You know you should have been in some sort of designing college and not in mount college"
"Thank you Panchi, you are too sweet! but I am glad that I came to mount college otherwise I wouldn't have met you guys", Or Abhay, she thought!
"Aww, we are glad to have you too" says Panchi putting her arms around Piya
"You guys make me want to throw up, now if this display of affection is over, can you get ready"
Both Panchi and Piya giggle
"So Misha which one?" says Piya
"I can't wear this, beside I am taller then you, so they wont fit" says Misha
"Misha stop making excuses ok! you are not that tall" says Piya and she puts the white chiffon dress on her and turn her to face the mirror "Misha this looks perfect and you know what, I will apply your make up and do your hair too cause tonight girl, you will be a show stealer"
"I don't want to be a show case!" she protests like a little girl
"Not a show case silly, a show stealer" Piya giggles
"I heard you the first time, but what's the difference? they both are the same" she protests!

After half an hour "Done" says Piya with a huge smile, Misha turns to look at the mirror she doesn't let her, and tells her first she has to wear the dress and she does.
"OMG! Hey pretty girl who are you? and what have you done to my little sister?" says Panchi overly excited

Misha turns and looks at her self in the mirror she was looking stunning, her fringe was rolled and clipped to the both sides with tiny pearl clips spread here and there, the rest of her hair was curled but with more volume as Piya rubbed some mousse in it,
and the knee length white dress just looked perfect

"I look horrible!, I look like a stupid bride" she says
"Misha don't be mean, I worked so hard, beside looking like a bride is not that bad, it's every girls dream, and hey you can switch to the pink dress if you don't like this one"

"Misha stop whining! you should thank Piya for making you look so good, and hey I am ready too, now Piya you get ready we will wait for you, it's getting late and we are missing all the fun, Danish has called me twice so far"
"Hey no need to wait for me, you guys go ahead I will catch on you later"
"Are you sure? it's ok we will wait"
"Go on, beside I will finish sooner without Misha nagging about how horrible she is looking" she giggles
" Ok" Panchi holds Misha's hand and drags her leaving Piya Alone in the room

In the beach party, there was a local band singing, they had both female and male vocalists and the dance floor was crowded
Kabir and Danish were sitting on the table talking, "wow look at them!" says Danish as he sees Panchi & Misha walking towards their table Kabir gets stunned by the way Misha was looking, he stands up staring at her dumfounded
"What?" says Misha as She notices him staring at her like that

"Now I don't want to hear any of your stupid remarks ok, I am already feeling horrible"
"I, you, I mean you" he mumbles
She looks at him puzzled, she looks so beautiful tonight, I have never seen her look so beautiful before, he gathers him self and
smiles "you look amazing babes!, shall we dance?" he offers her his hand and she smiles, then he leads her to the dance floor
"Wow you both look so beautiful, Misha looks so different very pretty, now shall we dance my lady" says Danish
"Sure! Btw this is all Piya's doing, do you believe she has made this beautiful dress"
"Really! wow! Btw where is she?"

Mean while in the room, Piya has finished doing her hair and makeup she has pinned her hair up leaving some lose stands here and there, and was wearing pinkish light makeup, she quickly wears her baby pink dress and checks her self in the mirror before she goes out of the room.
Same time Abhay's room door opens and he gets out, he turns towards Piya, he scans her with a quick glance, she notices that and she blushes, she looks at him shyly checking him out too, he was wearing a white formal shirt with black trousers and formal shoes
She smiles "hi"
"Hi, going to the dance?" he says
"Yes and you?" she says feeling nervous
He nodes, she looks at him puzzled strange how he came out from his room in the same time as her!

As they walk towards the lifts silently, Kabir comes rushing in, he looks at them, then both boys give each other cold glances and then Kabir grabs Piya's hand "hey Piya I came to pick you up, let's go and look at you! You look so beautiful"

She says nervously "thank you" as the three of them get inside the lift Abhay touches his pocket and gets out of the lift he says coldly: "you go ahead I forgot my mobile" and then he walks away.

As they reach there "wow Piya! you look fabulous" says Panchi
"before I forget here Piya" says Kabir as he hands her a check "this is from my dad a small donation for the orphanage", Danish hands her a check too, "this is from me and Panchi"
"I gave you my dad's check didn't I?" says Panchi. Piya nodes and as she puts the checks inside her bag " you guys are too sweet, you don't know how much this will help poor kids out please say thanks to your parents too"
Kabir then hands her an envelope this is from
Me, Misha, Ruhi and some other students and hey its all from our own pocket Money" he winks
Piya get so moved with teary eyes she says "you guys are the best", they all smile.

"Hey since we all are here, let's eat first" says Danish

As soon as they start eating, Abhay walks by their table he looks at them and greets them all politely, Danish asks him to join, but he just say thanks, then walks to the bar
Piya was about to take a bite when Misha says mockingly: "wow he is fast!" everyone look puzzled at her, he points with her head towards the bar
A beautiful blonde girl was all over Abhay, he had his arms around her and then he leads her to the dance floor

Piya looks at them and she feels a lump in her throat as she wants to clear it she starts to choke, and she feels she can't breath or talk her eyes widen in fear, Misha notices that
"Piya what's wrong? OMG! she is choking!" Misha pats on her back, but still she start to turn a bit bluish, tears pouring out of her eyes" somebody do something please" screams Panchi, while Kabir and all look at her helplessly panicked.

Then suddenly Abhay runs towards them, he grabs Piya pulling her in one jolt, then he stands behind her, puts his arms around her, his hands locked together and placed just down her rips and he pushes upward once, twice and by the third time a piece of chicken flies right from her mouth, as she gasps coughing and then she inhales deeply, he holds her gently and helps her sit on the chair she was shaking "are you all right?" he says kneeling beside her so he be in her eyes level, his hands cupping her face while everyone look at them worried!

Piya looks at him and nodes breathing deeply, he takes a glass of water from the table "drink this", she tries to hold the glass but her hand was shaking he holds her hand gently and then help her drink
Misha and Panchi put their arms around Piya "thank God you are fine you! you scared the hell out of us!"
Abhay stands up and sighs, he looks at Danish and Kabir who looked worried but also angry!

"Thanks allot dude, you just saved her life, where did you learn that?!"
"It's nothing, I just took some first aid classes, you should too, you never know when they come handy" he says softly, then he looks at Piya "are you ok now?" she looks up at him and says nervously "thank you Abhay" he smiles "my pleasure, but next time try to take smaller bites, chew well, and never talk when you are eating" he says with humor in his voice like he is lecturing her, she smiles and node then he turns around, and walks away while everyone was looking at him!

Misha looks at him stunned then she says "Oye your makeup is ruined" then she wipes Piya's teary face, Piya chuckles" I just faced death and you are worried about my makeup, I will go and freshen up" and she walks towards the ladies wash room

Danish leads Panchi to the dance floor
Misha looks at Kabir's troubled face and says: "Kabir what's wrong? You are sulking ever since Piya's choking incident and where did you vanish in the end of the concert ha?"
"Nothing yaar!" he shrugs his shoulders, but he lied as his mind was all troubled because of Piya, he senses that there is something between her and Abhay! and that bothers him to bits! She has told him the other day that she looks at him as a friend and nothing more, and yet he was hoping that she might change her mind but how can she, when she looks at Abhay the way she does !and can he blames her! when he barges in and comes to her rescue every time like a hero!

"You are upset because of Abhay right?" says Misha in a concerned voice then she continues: "I know we despise the guy but he isn't that bad after all"
"You are saying this just because he saved your silly show and got you an autograph!", Says Kabir rudely
"Kabir! How could you even think that?, if you haven't noticed he just saved Piya's life" Kabir stands up abruptly "I don't need to listen to this, as if it wasn't enough Panchi and Danish now you too"

Misha grabs Kabir's arm "aree yaar what's wrong? tell me what's really bothering you about him? as I recall he never did any thing to you"
"Seems you have a selective memory Misha, have you forgotten how he tried to create a problem between us, how he tried to get Piya get expelled, how he barged in the drama club and forced him self in, as far as I am concerned he is nothing but a big show off jackass"
"I am not saying he is a perfect guy, but people change Kabir! Wasn't he the one who came clean about our misunderstanding?, about the drama, even Panchi agreed he was better and about Piya I don't think she hates him on the contrary she is in owe of him because he saved her life so many times and..", she stops looking at her best friend's face "this is all about Piya isn't it?! it has nothing to do with whatever you said, you like Piya right and you feel she is drifting apart from you because of Abhay" Kabir narrows his eyes and twitches his lips" OMG! Kabir, have you fallen for her!"

He looks away, stands up to leave, but Misha holds him shaking her head: "don't, have you told her this? Have you told her how you feel?!" he nodes she grabs his hands and let him sit "and what did she say?"
He shakes his head "she told me that she sees me as a friend only, but I could have had a chance if this crap wasn't around"

"Gosh! Kabir! How could you think like this?! We don't plan to fall in love! It just happens"

"Did she say to you that she is in love with that piece of crap" says Kabir
"No! What makes you say that?" says Misha
"You! Talking about love!" says he
"I am talking about you my best bud! You expecting her to fall for you, if there were no other boy in the picture" she says

"Do you believe in destiny Kabir?" he nodes with a sad look, she cups his face and says"so believe this, if there was anything meant to happen between you and Piya in the future, it will happen no matter what ,it doesn't matter who is around!" then she hits her head with his lightly, Kabir sighs

"Please don't think about this, and let the things the way they are ok? And now get your butt moving because I want to dance" she chuckles trying to cheer him up, he shakes his head and smiles and says:"don't you know a lady can't use such words?"

"What lady? what words" she says patting her eyes innocently, he laughs, as he leads her to the dance floor, Misha sighs and goes into deep thought poor Kabir, for the first time in his life he become serious about a girl, and seems she is not interested,

Then she looks around where, are you Piya!, she spots her standing near the bar she was watching with a sad look in her eyes Abhay dancing seductively with his European blond partner! then she looks at Kabir, she feels relived that he couldn't see her, Kabir you are right there is something between these two, they can pretend that they loath each other but what's between them can never be described as hatred, not even close to it, what they have is something unexplainable, is it love or is it something beyond it!, I don't know yet, but I could see it in the way they look at each other

The fright in his eyes was so visible when he rushed to rescue her tonight, I could feel how much he cares for her whenever he looks at her, and when she looks at him it's the same thing, but I don't understand why they both deny it or fight it!, he tries to show him self like he doesn't care when everything is so clear that he does! maybe he is a player who doesn't want to change his life style and be with just one girl, maybe he knows Piya is not the type of girl who will get into the bed with him, that's why he tries to keep distance, while poor Piya wants more, Piya why didn't you fall for a sincere guy like Kabir Misha sighs, why these heart matters are so complicated!

Piya looks at Abhay, and remembers how he held her and rescued her, you are a very nice guy Abhay, but you have twisted concept on love and relationships, maybe that's why you are trying to push me away despite the feelings that I can see in your eyes whenever you look at me! Maybe you know that you can't be committed! Then she looks at the beautiful tall girl who was dancing with him so close, she feels a lump in her throat, or maybe you feel I am not your type at all!

She looks away and smiles sadly as she sees Ruhi waving at her while dancing, a boy approaches her from her own group asking her to dance and she agrees smilingly, she wanted to do anything to take her mind off of Abhay, they dance on few songs before he tries to twirl her and she ends up stepping on his foot his face twitch in pain but he says "it's ok"

She chuckles "I am sorry" then the song turns to a softer one everyone gets closer to their partner, as the boy offers his hand Piya tells him nervously that she had enough, she thanks him and walks to her table

"Hey Piya" says Misha as she catches her breath and pours her self some water, Piya sits feeling tired "I am going back aren't you coming?"

"No! I think I had enough" says Piya
"You look pooped out" says Misha
Piya notices that Abhay wasn't on the dance floor along with his dance partner as they were no where to be found! Misha notices that she was looking around and she says: "he has gone already with that blondy I saw them leaving, she was in his arms all kissy touchy, I am sure they are now in his or her bedroom indulging in the sinful deed"

Piya felt like a sharp pain in her chest "I don't know who you are talking about? and what are you saying"
"Are you sure Piya?" says Misha in a skeptical voice. Then she continues "I am sure you know I am talking about Abhay"

"Why are you telling me this?! As if care!" Piya says agitated "Whatever you say babes" says Misha looking at her doubtfully and then walks away to the dance floor
Piya feels hurt she sighs deeply, so he is gone with that s**t! She shakes her head as she imagines them, stop it Piya! She tells her self, she looks at the dance floor and feels so tired everyone were dancing in their partners arms, she yawns feeling sleepy, her eye lids feeling heavy, she rest her chin on her hands breathing deeply and then she spots him, Abhay was sitting on a table nearby.

OMG! he is still here, he didn't go away with her, her heart start to beat fast, he looks at her and then he whispers something in the blonde girls ear and she walks away, then he looks at her direction again his eyes were playful, he was smiling now flaunting his deep dimples, he stands up and strides towards her, she wanted to look away but she just couldn't, it was like she was hypnotized by his intense gaze

As he approaches her table, he offers her his hand "Piya Jaiswal would you do me the honor, and dance with me" she gets nervous and looks at the dance floor to the gang, but everyone was busy and no one was looking at them she wanted to snap at him and tell him go back to your blond bimbo, but instead she raises her hand ,like her body had a mind of it's own, he holds both of her hands as he leads her to the dance floor walking backward pulling her, both staring at each other, he looked like he couldn't take his eyes off of her, everyone fade away slowly as a spot light get focused on them alone!

She gasps as he pulls her closer to him placing his hand on her waist, then he holds her one hand and places it on his shoulder while holds her other hand in his own squeezing it gently, and they start to dance slowly on a beautiful love song sung by both the male and female singers

Piya feels the song was talking about them, he looks deeply into her eyes and says "you look so beautiful tonight, you take my breath away", his touch dazzle her senses and his words make her breathless, He swings her in his arms dancing and smiling, then he raises his hand and touches her face gently with his fingers, then he brushes them on her quivering lips, and she whispers her voice trembling "Abhay what are you doing! Everyone is here". He whispers back: "no one is around Piya, it's just you and me", she looks around and there was no one but them, but she wasn't bothered one bit!

She closes her eyes, he holds her neck and says with passionate voice "I love your hair better when they are loose", she open her eyes and her gaze flies to his, he takes out her hair pins one by one, letting her hair fall on her bare shoulders "much better" he whispers, then he moves her hair baring her neck his hand stroking the soft flesh of her neck and shoulders gently, she becomes more and more breathless, and he bends and kisses her neck gently, she gasps as she feels his warm wet lips on her neck and she whispers his name helplessly!

"Wake up dreamy head; you are drooling on the table" Says Misha as she shakes her from her shoulder
"huh! what! who!" Piya mumbles as she opens her eyes and raises her head abruptly, and looks puzzled at Misha, her eye lids still heavy. she touches the corner of her lips wiping them

Misha giggles "you are not drooling! I was just joking! but you sure were sound asleep, how could you sleep with all this noise?"
Piya checks her hair it was still pinned, she touches her neck, she looks around puzzled, Abhay was no where near her, and she realizes that she was just having a dream! She feels disappointed, and sighs deeply, oh God! now he is invading my dreams too! then she yawns feeling sleepy!

Misha tells her to go back to the hotel and get some sleep, and then she says "you woke early today, and you swam like a fish then the concert and now dance! that's why you are so worn out! I will ask Kabir to take you back to our room"
She yawns again "no Misha no need, he is dancing don't spoil his fun, I can manage on my own it's only 11 pm and its only 5 minutes walk!"

"Are you sure? Its late and you look so sleepy I feel you will end up dozing of on the sands before you reach there!" says Misha

Piya giggles stretching her arms lazily "don't worry I won't" she gets up and walks away slowly thinking what a dream! It felt so real!

As she walks along the beach, the music becomes more and more distant, making the soothing sound of the waves more clearer as they crash softly on the shore, the gentle sea breeze strokes her face and she breaths deeply, she takes off her sandals as she digs her feet inside the cold sand, and then sits on the sand as she decides that she will enjoy the close sea view for few minutes before she heads for the hotel, she looks at the sea with dreamy eyes as the full moon casts it's reflection on the calm sea!

Suddenly a hand grabs her arm, pulling her up on her feet abruptly in one jolt like she weighed nothing at all, she gasps in fear and then she hears Abhay's deep voice along with her own bounding heart beat as he roars:"Run Piya run!"
