Piya wanted Abhay to take her away to his place. To anywhere but here. She felt like she was being suffocated by this intense feeling of hurt. She felt as if her head was going to explode. Arnab Dobrial had emotionally scarred her enough. He had a nerve to look her in the eye and ask for her forgiveness. Piya wasn't ready for him or this family to make room in her life. She was happy with the way things were. Why did Misha have to spoil it all by interfering in it. The only thing keeping her from breaking down was Abhay holding her tightly in his embrace. She couldn't stop shaking. Piya tried to control her emotions from spiralling out. She didn't want to give Arnab the satisfaction of knowing he got under her skin.

Abhay cradled Piya in his arms stroking her her back with his left arm. He soothes her down with his husky voice-"Piya it's all going to be Ok. Look at me. Now calm down."

Piya felt her body relaxing at Abhay's caress-"I don't want to be here. can we go back to yours?"

Abhay stroking Piya's hair-"The others are resting. Sid want's to check up on U. He's worried about U."

Piya pouted her lips quivering sadly-"He's coming here?"

Abhay softly answered-"As soon as he's arrives and greets U we will take off. Is this ok by U?"

Piya nodded-"I'm glad U came. I really needed U."

Abhay gently kissed Piya's forehead to reassure her he's here-"That's better. Is this ok if i take Piya to the living room. I need to explain a few things to Piya."

Misha took Abhay and Piya to the next room-"U talk some sense into her. She'll listen to U."

Piya moaned sulkily-"I am here U know. Why did U have to open this chapter out in the open?"

Misha honestly replied-"I don't regret what i did Piya. I am not ashamed of U Piya. you're my sister. Love it or hate it we are connected for life. So any Daddy issues U have deal with it."

Piya moaned-"Misha it's not U its him. I don't have Daddy Issues. I don't even think of his as my father. I never asked for him."

Abhay sat Piya down-"Thank U Misha. I'd have taken her home but its manic there- I'll sort it out."

Misha nodded-"Thanks."

Piya still clutched her arms around Abhay-"Why can't we go home Abhay?"

Abhay took Piya's hands in his-"Piya U have to stop this childishness. I know he hurt U pretty bad. Its been years Piya. U have to let this go. He's your father. U might disregard this but its a fact. U can't change the facts."

Piya let out her pent up aggression flooding out in the form of tears-"I feel guilty. He just makes me feel worthless Abhay. Like i'm filth. I'm a b*****d. I'm an illegitimate child born out of wdlock. If people come to know this truth they'll reject me. My mother's family would be insulted by this truth. I'm an orphan is how i've gotten by in the past but this stigma is too much for me to take. I can't accept who i am then how can i expect people to accept me as i am. I hate that man."

Abhay held Piya back in his arms. Normally he hated Piya crying. It killed his inside watching her in despair but she had to let it out. Let her bottled emotions out-"I know your hurting Piya and it kills me to see U like this but U have to move on. U have sister's who've embraced U with open arms. It could have gone so badly wrong but they've accepted U knowing full well who U are. U can't go on hating your father forever. It will eat U up inside. Do U want this for yourself?"

Piya stubbornly glared at Abhay-"I hate it when you're so right! I can't switch my feelings off Abhay. I don't know how?"

Abhay chuckled-"Trust U to return a question with a question. We'll take it slow. Now are U willing to be brave and show them U are a bigger person. U can do this Piya. i'll help U but i can only do so much."

Madhoo went over to the living room to offer Abhay some tea inviting Abhay to sit with them-"I'm sorry aunty i've already had lunch. Piya have U eaten yet?"

Piya made an excuse-"I wasn't hungry."

Abhay express disapproval-"Piya U know its common courtesy not to refuse your elders. They've made U such a lovely spread. Go and eat with them for me Piya. I'm not going anywhere till U sort your problems out. You've ran away from your problems long enough. U have to face your demons."

Sid entered his home scanning the room for Piya. He asked Misha with his eyes for hints. Misha pointed Sid to the living room-"Hi Abhay. I came as soon as i could."

Piya turned her head around to see Sid. She jumped off her seat hugging her brother for dear life-"Thank God you're safe. I was so scared." She touched his face with her hands.

Sid hugged Piya back-"If i knew i'd get this reception i'd have put myself in more danger just so i'd get regular hugs like this from U. I'm fine. Now crack a smile for me and dry your eyes. You've she'd enough tears already." Sid wipes away Piya tears with his hands. "Now smile for me?"

Piya relented giving in-"Are U ok?"

Sid nodded-"Have U eaten? I'm famished so you'd better join me for breakfast. We have so much to discuss." (Piya takes a glace towards Arnab) "Don't worry about him. We are both in this together. We can teach each other to forgive."

Piya did as Abhay asked sitting down at the table-"I'm sorry for overreacting. This is happening too sudden."

Madhoo nods-"We understand beta. It can be overwhelming. Just take little steps."

Arnab wipes his mouth with a napkin-"I'd better go Madhoo. U kids enjoy the rest of the day."

Abhay clears his throat eyeing Piya-"Don't U have something to say?"

Piya spoke softly-"I'm sorry for the verbal abuse. I'll try to refrain. I meant i'll try to be civil. I didn't mean."

Arnab appreciated Piya's apology-"I know i have a lot of ground to make up for but i'll try. Just bear with me. Give me a chance Piya. its all i ask."

Piya refused to say anything back. She wasn't ready. She plainly diverted her eyes away towards Abhay.

Sid gets his plate out while Madhoo serves up-"This smells yum."

Panchi gives Piya a paratha-"These are the best. You'll love it"

Piya took a bite of the paratha-"It's gorgeous. "

Sid beamed-"We'll soon fatten U up Piya."

Piya watched Arnab take off with his suitcase. She finally managed to feel relief-"I think one's enough. I have something i need to do at home Abhay."

Misha jumped out of her seat-"Don't U want to wait till we are all assembled together Piya? U know so we can be part of your little thing."

Piya frowned-"I don't think i'll be able to say it in front of U."

Abhay quizzed-"Say what?"

Piya quickly answered-"Nothing. Misha's just being silly. She's messing with me aren't U Misha?"

Sid chipped in helpfully-"See they are already behaving like sisters."

Piya got out of her seat-"Let me get my bag. I have it in the diary."

Abhay muttered-"U got my diary? Piya how many times have i told U to quit reading them."

Piya handed Abhay his diary back-"Open it and read what i've written in it."

Abhay read it in his mind. It had glittered love heart gel pen writing on it. Abhay U are the soul purpose for my existence. We've weathered a hundred storms together and even the cosmos can't separate us. U are my life, my heart and soul. U have been my rock of all ages and i want us to unite in a bond in marriage. Reading Will U marry Me?-"Piya isn't this supposed to be done the traditional way? I want U to patch things with your Dad and then we will discuss it."

Piya felt her heart sink-"I'll do as U ask Abhay. Just give me time."

Abhay wanted to put Piya out of her misery. He could never cause her pain. Abhay already knew how cut up Piya was but if they were serious about getting married then it would be done the old fashioned way.-"The answer U want Piya will be revealed later on. It's a big step so don't go reading into the negativity.

Piya was dumbfounded-"Off of whom?"

Abhay beamed-"You'll see."

Misha couldn't stop grinning-"Piya did U just do what i thought U just did?"

Piya nodded-"Now shut up Misha. It's not official till we sort ourselves out."

Misha gave Piya a kiss on her cheek-"U really are very shifty Piya."

Panchi felt left out-"What did Piya do?"

Misha ribbed her sister-"U keep on eating fatty. Its between Piya and I."

Sid already knew what was going on-"I'm off to yours. I think U might be needed there Abhay. Lexie wants both of U there. She said it was a surprise."

Abhay helped Piya up and wished everyone goodbye inviting them over at his place for a get together-"Bye Misha and behave. I know U very well. Oh Lux wanted to know if U wated to drop by."

Misha answered-"Sure. See U at yours." Misha watched Abhay, Sid and Piya drive off.

Madhoo praised Abhay-"He is the kind of son in law i'd like for U girls. A perfect gentleman and the best life partner for Piya. he has my seal of approval. Now if only i could find a boy like him for U girls."

Misha rolled her eyes at her Mom letting out a graon-"Oh mother U are too much. They don't make men like Abhay in this era. The boys from a thousand centuries ago. He thinks asking elders for a hand in marriage is cool. By the way this is so not cool. I want my guy to run off with me and elope."

Madhoo smacked her daughter lightly on her shoulder-"You'll sacrifice your mothers dreams and aspirations all on a whim. Misha beta U can't do this to me. A mothers dream is to arrange the perfect wedding for her daughters."

Misha grabbed her mother-"Oh come on Mom like Misha would ever let U down. I was just saying hypothetically this would be so romantic than all this band baaja."

Madhoo saw the passionate look in Misha's eyes-"My baby's in love. Who is this lucky boy?"

Misha smiled-"It's Abhay's cousin Lux. I won't say i'm in love love but its almost the way Abhay and Piya are together. He's very handsome like Abhay and broody but he's very secretive as well."

Madhoo bemoans-"Try to find someone for Panchi. I don't know what we'll do with the girl. Check if Abhay's got a brother or a cousin to pair up with Panchi."

Misha joked-"Birdee needs a sumo wrestler. Have U seen her pile on the pounds? We need to find a cook for her."

Panchi groaned-"Oh no U didn't? Why is everyone on my case? I'm happy flying solo. I don't need anymore drama."

Misha teases-"We'll drama loves U Panchi. Deal with it. I think you'll meet this tall stranger and he'll blow U away. Just wait for him to enter your life."

Panchi shakes her finger at Misha-"No way my oracle. I do not bow to love no more. Only my career takes precedence. Now if you'll excuse me i have somewhere i have to be."

The Raichand's

Lexie and Pari were pampering Lux as if he were some king. He hated the girls following him around like he were a prized china. They wouldn't stop feeding him or fluffing his pillows. He felt like shouting at them. boy was he waiting for Sid and Abhay to come back home with Piya. then hopefully their attention will be elsewhere. Lux didn't get a moment to himself. He felt overcrowded by the girls. He understood why they were like this with him. after the night they'd been through he knew they wouldn't have found it easy to cope with their own nightmare. Lux was afraid to leave Lexie on her own. She wasn't the same since last night. She was withdrawn and very distant. It was as if she were here but her mind was elsewhere.

They'd spent the past two hours reflecting on the night that had past by and moving on to the next thing. Lexi was excited about Piya's proposal unfortunately she already knew Abhay wasn't going to say yes. It was a valiant effort though. She should have warned her but with the madness of last night she didn't get the opportunity to say anything. It all happened so fast.

Pari had her arms cradling Lux-"Do U want me to get U anything else?"

Lux moped-"No. I got all i need now just chill. I can't take U killing me with kindness. I'm still me U know?"

Lexie stuck her tongue out-"Hey milk this while U can. We aren't going to be waiting on U hand and foot for long."

Lux put on the tv changing the channels around-"It's so boring being sat here. Why can't i go out?"

Lexie took the remote control from his hand-"U sound like a little kid. Now stop complaining. We'll try to back off but being sister's it will be a tad difficult for us. After all U are the only brother we've got."

Lux bit his tongue-"Sorry i didn't mean to be such a wet blanket. I just don't like U treating me differently. I'm still me. I still want to protect U from the big bad world. I don't want U using magic any more Lexie. I saw what it did to U in the past. I can already see history repeating itself. Only this time i'm petrified of what it will do to U. I want to go outside and hang out with Kabir. I haven't seen him for two days. Being confined here all day isn't exactly healthy U know? "

Lexie handed Lux the phone-"Here U can call him and ask him to pop over."

Lux took a deep breath-"What bothers me most is that U haven't once asked for Kabir? You've been too busy with us. When will U ever start thinking about yourself? Don't change the subject. I know U are trying to worm away from answering our concerns on this Dark Magic. Its time we discussed it don't U?"

Lexie moved away from Lux-"Can we just stop with the Lexie backlash here. U are supposed to be recuperating. I don't want U thinking about me." Lexie couldn't leave Lux's side. She was too scared to leave him.

Lux stretched his arms yawning. He grabbed hold of his sister moving towards the doorway-"I love that U are looking out for me Lexie. I do but U have to start thinking about yourself. No more magic."

Lexie found Lux's eyes on her uncomfortable. He was concerned about her when he was supposed to be focussed on himself. Lexie couldn't rest. She could feel a shadow roam around her. she knew the signs all too well. The magic she'd taken in was a mix of everything. She feared the bad magic would overtake the good in her. Eventually the bad would win. It was always the most dominant side compared to the good side. Lexie knew all too well how alluring the dark side. She craved to use her powers more and more. Especialy the dark powers. It made her feel superior and domineering. The thought of not using magic was beyond her. Magic was in her DNA. It was all she knew. She wasn't addicted to it yet. She was certain of this fact. Lexie couldn't quit until she got rid of Maya.

Pari clicked her fingers at Lexie-"This is what we are on about Lexie. U keep drifting off in your own little world. I'm with Lux on this Lexie. U need to rein it back. Just until we know there's no side effect. Can U do this for us?"

Lexie yelled out-"Fine. I won't use excessive amounts unless i have to. I am permitted to use my other gift right like the powers i was born with?"

Lux made Lexie promise him-"No dark magic. Only what we we're born with."

Lexie nodded-"I promise i won't use it unless i have to."

Lux asked again-"Good. It's for your own benefit. We can't risk any of us getting in the crossfire least of all U Lexie."

Lexie -"Now are U going to call Kabir or do U want me to do it?"

Pari knew Lexie was resisting-"Are U and Kabir on good terms Lexie? U seem to be dodging him."

Lexie glanced eyeing Lux to Pari-"It's not that. I'm just being cautious. I don't want to put him at unnecessary risk. He's been good to me. I don't want him to get hurt. We aren't exactly out of the woods yet. Not until Maya is out of the way."

Lux dialled Kabir's number-"U are making excuses little sis. But i will let U off the hook with this. Kabir is a sound guy. I don't want to see either of U hurt."

Lexie admitted truthfully-"Its never simple with us around is it?"

Lux heard Kabir on the other side-"Hey bro U coming over or what?"

Kabir on the other line-"I'll try just have an errand to run first."

Abhay rushed over leaving Piya with the Dobrial girls. It wasn't easy persuading Piya to stay behind. He had a surprise to plan for her. he knew it would put a smile back on her face. He was disappointed she'd beaten him to it. Abhay knew exactly why she'd asked him the question. He didn't think she'd do it now. He zoomed into the Raichand Mansion where Lexie was sat on the sofa with Lux and Pari.

Abhay asked Lexie for a favour-"U don't mind nipping out for a little while with me do U?"

Pari grinned-"She asked U didn't she?"

Abhay grimly answered-"Piya sure has no concept for the right time? Good job I got out of there when i did."

Lexie beamed cheerfully-"Let me go get my bag. Say hi to Kabir for me."

Pari added glumly-"She's avoiding him."

Lexie finished-"Now I want U to behave Lux. I know how boisterous U can get. Bye."
