Abhay arrive in style with his super expensive car. As he got out of the car with his shades on he walks past all the students. He smirks knowing full well that he'd made his mark already. He looks straight at Piya and grimaces from his memory from last night.He could still feel her warmth on his cold skin. She seemed to still left her imprint on his hands, his brains. All he could see was her but he was glad he had his shades on he didn't quite trust himself to take them off quite yet. Piya was frozen still staring at Abhay. Did she recognize him. No her expressions were definately of someone curious and unsure. Good at least i haven't given away any secret. Abhay finally shut his mind abruptly and found a gathering of women. Great just what he needed hundreds of eyes on him. He made his way to the deen's office. As he moved so did all the other curious girls. Abhay wished they'd get lost. Mom wants me to mix in with the crowd i'll show her mixed in. The Deen was a grumpy old man passed his sell by date. A do gooder. How Abhay couldn't stand those kind of people. All selfless. Abhay spoke loudly with disrespect knowing full well that the guy was not going to be pleased. Good.

:::2 FirsT Day AT Uni:::

Abhay stops Pia's slap and smirks. He liked the girl who was about to slap him. She had guts. He frowned getting himself in the angry mode.

Abhay-"Never try to touch me again like that or so help me you won't be able to stand on your feet next time. Did i try violence with you no so why do you stoop so low run out of insults or are you just dumb."

Abhay starts to walk away leaving Pia lost for words. She looks around at her audience. She wasn't going to make a meal out of this day. She needed to make friends not enemies.

Pia-"Walk away that's what you're good at right. We are not below anyone ok we are human and working hard to make a life for ourselves unlike some people who've been spoon fed their whole life. Well i wouldn't want to touch you anyway. I woundn't want you to rub off on me. You happy now completely maessing up everyone first day with your dramatics."

Abhay could care less about what Pia was saying he knew he did his job well. On his way he saw this girl dressed in a skimpy skirt. She gave him one of her biggest fake smile. He rolled his eyes. Seriously is this how they trapped boys nowadays. He kept walking. Abhay could hear Pia's faint heart beating and he knew she was angry. A boy Kabir and Misha introduced themselves and giving her their seal of approval. Pia shook their hands and was on her way to class. Kabir was one to watch out for as Abhay saw a glimpse of the guy before. He had an easy going personality which reminded him of himself a long time ago but was lost since the day he lost her forever. Abhay could feel himself smile. He was glad Pia had 2 people on her side. The memories he kept them at bay but Pia was bringing them back in small doses. Abhay no longer craved human blood as he was used to being near people but being around Pia so close in front of others was getting to him. Abhay felt like he didn't want to eave but stay but why. As soon as Abhay left the campus premises he used his super powers to get in his car and drive home. He was relieved. The tension. The drama. The loneliness sometimes killed him. Remembering Maithali was the hardest part. The love he felt for her never died throughout his 600 year lifespan. Losing her was.......

Abhay reached into his bookcase and got some books out on history from the top section and then retrieved his belongings of a small chest. He opened it and got a photo out. He got out his old journal with paintings he did of Maithali. He remembered every little detail on Piya's face and traced his fingers and assessed the photo and paintings of Maithali. They were identical every part of their face but the last 2 times that was different they didn't look so alike. It hurt to think but that was odd for a vampire. No Abhay wasn't going to dwell on the past. He had to do damage control. He wasn't telling his mother Hasina anything she'd worry too much and his father that was a different matter. He knew one thing stay away from from Pia was the best option. The last 3 births staying close and far he'd tested out with dismal endings. Pia would be safe he wouldn't hurt her and neither would anyone else.

Abhay's Mom came up just as Abhay put away his valuables. She looked at her son with concern.

Hasina-"Abhay I've noticed these few days you've been restless son and with this principle you didn't even compel him. Why?"

Abhay-"What's the point Mom? I can't compel him every time things don't go my way." (Abhay didn't tell her about Pia. She was the reason he didn't want to go but he knew he had to for his family)

Hasina-"Abhay you are doing this on purpose. Yesterday you were ok about Dehradun but now what's changed? I don't care U will go to university and mix in with people because you are the only one that has managed to tame our primal needs to kill and feed on humans. You know why we are back? Or do you need reminding?"

Abhay-"I get it to raise awareness and finish any threats that may be heading our way because running doesn't work most of all nobody will know we are back again."

Hasina-"We have to do this. Most of our friends are dead. They were sloppy. We need to be on the ball. Come down your father has brought a new Deen for your college. You will be going with him back to Uni now."

Abhay-"After what happened today you want me to go. Half a day already gone." He runs down with super speed with his Mom and watches the Deen with his Dad.

Chand-"Yes son you must. You've left quite an impression on your fellow students this will add more fuel to the fire. If you arrive with Mr Decosta it will all look like you are a very powerful person.."

Deen-"You're father has told me everything i need to know about you Abhay. Mr Raichand you will have nothing to worry about at all. I will make sure you're son is getting whatever he needs."

Abhay-"Dad did you??????????"

Chand-"No i didn't need to." (About the deen being compelled. )

Abhay and the Deen arrive after lunchtime at the campus. All heads turn around. Abhay was ready for this just like he'd been in the morning. This time the girls were following him around. The whispering. The chatting seemed to be about him and the old Deen being fired with this new one in place in a matter of hours. Abhay searched the crowd and followed his eyes to an aura he recognized straight away. It was bright like it was seeking him out. Piya didn't look his way but he knew she was curious about why he was back. As he felt his feet he began to move this time taking his shades off. He had the misfortune of seeing Tanushree again.

T-"Hi! I'm T (Extending her hands to shake Abhay's) So you're back again i take it. Good we need hot guys like you around to keep girls like us interested in even coming to study."

Abhay ignored her nad kept walking by.

T-"He will be mine. I've got dibs on him. Any guy that doesn't take notice of T will eventually have to succumb to my charms."

Her 3 wiccan friends seemed to agree with her thoughts but one did point her to Kabir.

T-"Kabir is old news the guy was too easy. Abhay is a challenge and i like a good challenge. He's my new project. Give me his stats and vitals. Nobody has ever walked in with a new principle on the first day that too the same day he was told to leave. He must definately have power. We got work to do girls."

Tanushree decided to throw the first party of the first year making sure that only the best were invited. She'd made sure that her frenemies were not invited namely Pia, Kabir and Misha but in the end she'd changed her mind for te sole purpose of teaching the trio a lesson. T wanted Pia to pay for her interference with Abhay from this morning. She made flyers the works and she made sure Abhay was invited.

Abhay went to his first lecture and sat right at the back. The professor wanted everyone to say something about themselves and who they were. Abhay was already bored. Didn't matter which University in anytime he went to or the country the first day was always the same. Tell me questions. One by one everyone had a go from the front to the back. When Pia's turn came he couldn't help but take notice that she wanted to make her mother proud, she loves colour. Kabir told everyone he was into partying and loved the women making the girls laugh bar T. Misha just liked a good time, hated party poopers. It was Abhay's turn. Did he really have to do this. All eyes were on him. He stood up and told everyone he liked being alone and had no ambition. This made most of the girls just sigh but he could hear Misha say it figures. Abhay couldn't help but smile. He was rubbing someone up the wrong wasy but he'd seen a close bond between Misha and Pia already. They seemed like two peas in a pod. The behaved similarly but looked different. He saw Pia smile at Misha's comment. He saw Kabir looking at Pia which made him feel uneasy. Abhay thought he was reading too much into Kabir's body language but being around humans for a long time made Abhay a bit of a psychology expert when it came to people's body language or their facial expressions. The professor told Abhay that they would have to instill something to motivate Abhay.

T-"He's definately one of the bad boys. Just my type."

How am i going to deal with this brat. That girl is going to grate over him for the next few years. Abhay just wished there was a way of getting out of this class but he didn't want anymore gossip. These people were giving him a headache. He tried to zone out for the rest of the day. All the information they were given he already knew about it. He'd got so much knowledge that even the internet couldn't compete with his knowledge.

Finally the last lecture of the day Science. His favourite though he wouldn't admit this to anyone. No Piya around must not be her major. He didn't mind showing off on his knowledge and showing up a few errors in his professors. None of the popular people were in his class apart from the geeks and nerds. Well he was glad to be in a room where nobody gossiped but some of these girls sure looked at him weirdly like they'd never seen a cute guy in a science lab. No fear of this leaking out.

As soon as he'd rushed out he thanked the new principle for keeping his end of the deal as well as making sure that he would be first choice for all events in University and out of it. Only problem was that he tamed his strenghth for the wrestling tournament, football and for cricket clubs. He wasn't sure if he should participate seeming as the last time he was in a club he'd briken someone's arm over 50 years ago making him try to compel the person into thinking tey weren't in any pain and letting them drink a tiny amount of his blood with bad side effects but modern medicine has progressed since then. Abhay would definately take part. He wanted to keep a close eye on Kabir.

They were leaving when a science member approached him.

Kareema-"You're not as scary as we thought you were. Thank you for not spoiling the lesson for us."

Abhay seemed pleased by their reaction. They weren't scared of him. He liked feeling accepted for a little part of his life that too for his brain. He nodded and walked out where he saw Kabir and Piya exchanging numbers. He zoned in on what they were talking about. A party at T's and she was going with him. Abhay felt anger surge. Kabir sure worked fast to get Piya but he was dissappointed with Pita at how soon she'd fallen for a guy. He wanted to drag Piya away from Kabir and bring her near him and not let anyone take her away from him. He had no right to go with Piya. Oh Misha was going as well. Still Piya would be with Kabir. He didn't want those 2 to be close. Abhay told himself to chill. He wasn't going to the party even if it was to keep Piya away from Kabir if thats who she wanted she can be with him. He heard them talking about going for a parachuting adventure straight after this. Why would Piya endanger herself like this. No doubt Kabir's doing. Abhay heard Misha tell Piya that they were going to be fine. All they had to do was pull the cord and they'd be flying. Misha took Piya to her house getting ready for the event. Well Abhay would have to be on stand by. He had a major task in making sure that Piya was safe.

T stopped Abhay with her invite again. This time Abhay spoke that too in his deep voice. Abhay-"U don't give up do U. I might come see U there." T-"T doesn't have that in my diction. When i want something i get it." Abhay-"Ever heard the term Be careful what U wish for. This applies to me. U don't want to mix with fire it never ends well." T-"T knows how to cool fire off." Abhay moves away and then whizzes past everyone like a gust of wind. He began to ready himself for the unexpected trip out.If Piya wanted to fly she'd get her wish. He only feared that things may end badly. Piya's life would be riddled with danger. If only they'd never met then this curse wouldn't have taken any effect but deep down he knew he was wrong.
