Abhay was in a trance. All he could see was just Piya. Everyone else faded away from the scene to the point that the only Piya was standing in a room just with Abhay. He could hear her heartbeat, her breathing and her scent seemed so much stronger now. He could feel himself moving towards her. Piya in return felt shy which was odd. She could feel Abhay's gaze burn through her. Once she'd locked eyes with him she was gone. She felt like she was in heaven. A moment of magic or was she dreaming wide awake. Whatever it was she hoped time would stop. She felt a hand on her shoulder breaking her away from Abhay's intense eyes. She was annoyed when she looked back. It was Kabir pulling her towards the dance floor. He wanted her to join him but her heart was set on being with Abhay. Piya didn't know what was going on, one minute she hated this arrogant guy but then in a matter of minutes she was his. She was going to find out everything she could on her mysterious saviour. The guy was out of this world and had gifts beyond anybodies imagination. She liked that this was between her and Abhay. Their little secret.
Abhay watched Kabir dance with Piya. He felt a hint of disappointment. He wanted to be with Piya and punch Kabir's lights out for being so close to her. She was his. Nobody had the right to take her from him again. The tought of losing her was too much for him. He looked away and sat down alone. He forgot about Tanushree. Piya's didn't listen to anything Kabir was saying as she was in deep thoughts full of Abhay. He had taken over her mind ever since he saved her. She saw Abhay alone. He had a string of girls in a line trying to get him to dance with them but he sat still stone faced. He caught her looking his way. His expression changed into something softer. He gave in to the demands of one girl in particular. He wanted to test out what Piya was doing. He twirled Jyoti onto the dance floor. Piya's reaction was to jump in and pull the girl out of Abhay's arms. Kabir lokked at Piya move away from him. She at this point didn't know what she was doing other than she didn't want Abhay with anyone. She'd rather he be alone. Tanushreecame in with her flock of wannabees. This gave Abhay the chance to really liven things up with Jyoti who couldn't stop smiling. He only looked at Piya every few minutes knowing full well what T was like keeping his sense on red alert.
T-"U enjoying the party dear?"
Piya-"Thanks. It's really packed. R your parties always this way."
T-"Yes. Look i got U some special cake. Only available for those people on their time at a party like this. U got to try it. You will lose all your inhibitions."
Piya-"OK." Piya takes a big bite of the chocolate cake. Then she scoffed the whole lot.
T-"Eat some more. I can see U'r enjoying this. Take as much as U want."
Piya-"This is really good. She took another piece. Why aren't U having any? Or your friends?"
T-"U have to make some sacrifices if U want to look this good. No fat or sweets or even carbs for my perfect body. I say this to my girls. U wanna be with me U gotta follow my rules. Or else we can never be friends but i make exceptions for newcomer like U."
Piya started to get a little hyper and started making her way to the dance area dancing to her own tune. She forgot about the people there. She giggled. She joined the dj choosing her own Rihanna-Only girl in the world and Ke$ha-We R who we R. Abhay was amused by this sudden change in attitude. He liked this side to her. Up until the second song things got a little bizarre. Piya started smacking her butt like Piya didn't have an inkling to what was going on around her like she was out of it. Something was wrong. She had a crowd surround her laughing at her. This made him angry. How dare they poke fun at Piya. Misha tries to cut through to stop her friend from making a fool of herself. She and Kabir tries to get passed the packed area until Abhay took Piya by the hand and left the building. Misha and T had a cat fight with Kabir trying to break them up. He didn't want this to go out of hand. He wanted Misha to hold back because the girl could pack a mean punch. T had a black eye while Misha had a cut lip.
T-"Get that animal off of me my poor face."
Mish-"U mad cat what did U do to Pia. I saw U give her something."
T-"It was only something to help miss uptight chill."
Her Barbie dolls said it was Gaanja. Abhay heard all of this and was enraged. Talk about pranks. He wished he could do something to T but knew he wasn't in a fit state. Not with his heightened emotional sense. He was definitely going to harm someone and he hasn't hurt a human in a long time. Piya in his arms was singing away to him. It was out of tune but to him it was a sweet melody. Though he'd only met her 1 day in it was like they'd never been apart. Like they were picking up from where they left off. It was all too fast. He wanted her to love him all over again without anything going wrong for them. They were doomed thanks to his recklessness but it was her that paid the price for his sins. Part of him wanted her to remember and the other wanted her to get on with her life but he knew that the enemy would come for her regardless of his involvement just to hurt him. Piya stopped singing and started talking to him.
Piya-"You're so strong and cuddly like a big bear. You smell good. You're eyes are so hypnotic. Oh Abhay i'm so happy. I never want to wake up. You're with me here alone with the stars twinkling away. I didn't like U today but now U are mine i like U a lot. Why are U so quiet? U never smile? Is that smile insured for millions that U won't smile. U must be fed up of carrying me around. I hope U carry me forever. It's very romantic. Do U even like me Abhay? I don't know. U never seem to say much and when U do it's always vague. Oh so many of U Abhay. I am a lucky girl."
Abhay-"U sure talk a lot don't U. No wonder i'm not getting a word in. How many finger's am i holding up?"
Pia-(Pia points at his fingers missing them completely just counting randomly) "1,2,3,5," she starts giggling. "I loss countHehehe."
Abhay-"T is gonna pay."
Pia-"No T. Just U and I here. Abhay U really are the cutest guy i have seen. I like. No i loves U. Do U loves me? I don't care. What was i saying? U are so smart. You're not like other guys. I like that. Am i annoying U? I'm not really annoying. U make me say things. Did U like my dancing. We never got to dance. U like dancing? I like the stars. I like my shiny stars. You're my shining star. U sparkle. I can see you're eyes twinkling. Do my eyes twinkle?"
Abhay covered Pia's mouth with his hand and smiled at her. Abhay-"U speak too much."
Pia looked at Abhay dazed. In no time Abhay dropped Pia at the hostel without a sound and before he left he told Pia what she wanted to know. "I love U Pia my soulmate. My life."
