Chapter 21:
Geet tried to hide her giggles.
"Oye, gadhi, uth gaya na to saara khel kharab ho jaaye ga!!" she cursed herself in her mind.
He moved and she quickly put the things back and laid down again, covering her face from hysterics.
He opened his eyes and saw Geet wrapped up in a blanket facing away from him.
He tilted over and saw her eyes shut.
"Geet utho na'."
"Mmmmmhmmm sone do na'" she acted.
He got up and went to the bathroom. Geet bit the collar of her shirt, hiding her giggles.
"5..4..3..2 and" she counted.
"AHHHHHHH!!!! GEEET!!!"
"HAHAAHAHAHHAHAAHHAHA!!!" she laughed not being able to control her laughter.
He stormed out of the bathroom.
"YOU!! YOU LITTLE!!!....."
"Geet doesn't forgive and forget easily, you should know that'.MAAANU!!!" she fell back on the bed laughing.
"Geet!!!!!this isn't funny!!!"
"Jaise tumne meri picture li vaise maine tumhari bhi li" she showed him laughing.
"Achaa just wait" he came out of the bathroom with shaving cream.
"NAHIII!!! MAAN NOOO!!!"
They chased each other around the room making a HUGE MESS!!
After being extremely exhausted he was on the couch, and she was on the bed.
"I can't believe Geet you put make-up on me!!That too blood red"
"Achaa lag raha hai na MAANU!!"she laughed.
"You know what I thought we were friends and now it's even" he said.
"Friends?! I shall remind you Mr.Khurana that friends don't have'." She said annoyed and confused to her own actions.
He looked at her in silence both had rapid heart beats not because of the running and chasing but because of the confused feelings.
It had been a month since they had came back. Maan proceeded to work and Geet was busy with her fashion designing blue prints.
They just followed a simple routine where she would do her farz and he would his. They didn't touch each other like that after their honeymoon. However, they did find themselves in each others arms every morning. Maan worked and she was busy.
Both felt incomplete they actually missed each others company their time together. They would rarely have their cute little arguments.
One day Maan came home from work and saw Geet sleeping. He smiled and went close to her. He kissed her forehead. Something he hadn't done in a while then he changed and slept.
She woke-up in the morning and gave him a peck on the lips. She had to she wanted to.
Geet had gone to the beach by herself usually she took the driver but today she just wanted to be alone. She felt frustrated. Why couldn't Maan give her time. Why couldn't she point out what she felt.
It wasn't like they never came across the idea of being in love but they shrugged it off thinking they fought too much, and a mere attraction wasn't love.
She was sitting there when someone blindfolded her. She screamed but the person slapped her soo hard she fainted.
Maan came home and saw Dadi, Sonia, Rano, Sukhdev, and Balvindar looking horrified.
Dadi was crying.
"Dadi kya huwa?" he asked tense now.
"Wo beta'.."said Sonia.
"Koi bol kyun nahi raha?!!!'' he shouted.
They all just looked down.
"Geet kahan hai?!" he asked.
"Maan Geet abhi tak ghar nahi aayi!!" cried out Balvinder.
Maan froze tears welled up in his eyes but he dashed out of the room and went up.
"GEET!! Dekho don't play games!!...................GEEEEET!! If I did something I'm sorry!!!"
But all he heard was silence.
He dialed her number through his tears but through his phone away in anger.
He punched the air shattering it just like his heart was being shattered into a billion pieces.
He stormed out of the house. He called the police. He threatened them he did whatever he could'..he cursed himself!!!
Geet woke up to find herself in a room with just a couch.
"KOI HAIII!!?" she screamed crying.
A man came out wearing a mask over his face.
"Shhhh gorgeous why are you screaming?!" he asked walking upto her.
"Leave me alone you bas***d"
He untied her hands and pulled her closer.
"I want MONEY!!" he said.
"I have money in my purse take ALL of it"
"Woh to maine le liye'.I want MORE money!!"
"Call my husband you filthy moron and you'll get your money!"
"I will do that now but I don't have his number! You stupid s**t!"
"I am not wearing anything revealing you filthy pig!! Saale kutte!!!" she screamed.
He slapped her once more making her mouth bleed even more.
Maan got a call from his work.
"TELL THAT ******** THAT HE CAN TAKE ALL THE MONEY HE WANTS'I WANT MY GEET!!!"
"TRACE THE DAMN CALL!!!"
After finalizing everything Maan started to cry. What if the rascal did something to her?! He choked with tears.
Geet pulled the nail filer out of her purse and the man was sitting near the entrance on a chair reading a newspaper.
She knew karate'she had beaten many before. He was no match.
She kicked the chair causing him to fall. He got up but she punched and beat him so hard that he had blood coming out of his mouth.
"Kaminey, haram ki aulad, tujhay kya laga I'm just a small tiny girl, tera aisa haal karoon gi main ke tu dekhta reh jaaye ga. YOU DISGUSTING COWARD!!"
After taking all her anger out she left him unconscious then tied his hands with the scraf that matched her cute outfit, that now had marks all over it.
Someone suddenly opened the door. The police stood there gaping their mouths open when'..
"AAP LOG KHADE KYUN HAIN ANDAR JAAIYE!!!!!" howled Maan!
"Ssssirr"began Adi pointing to the scene inside.
Geet was screaming so loudly that she couldn't hear everyone outside and the door being pushed down.
"TUJHAY KYA LAGAA!!!" she kicked him on his face.
"TUNE JO MUJHAY KIYA HAI NA!! MUJHAY HAATH LAGAI GAA!! AAJ KE BAAD TERI AISI HAALAT KAR DOON GI KE KISI LARDKI KO KYA YOU WON'T EVEN BE ABLE TO WATCH DOSTANA YOU********"
Everyone stood there while Maan digested the scene and ran upto her hugging her.
"Maan!!kitni der laga di tumne'do you have any idea what?"
"SHHH!!" he picked her up and signaled the police to do what they had to.
She protested.
"Wait,just one more punch!!"
"Geet!!!!Are you okay?!!"
"HAAN!!"
He placed her into the car and then he drove straight to the hospital. After getting her wound cleaned up he drove home immediately.
When they reached home after their session of the QUESTIONS happened Maan took Geet into the room.
