Part 17:

Maan woke up and saw Geet's arms around him. He smiled. Then he pecked her lips and she murmured something in her sleep.

"I love ice-cream….do you like ice-cream?"

He chuckled. This girl was so different from all the girls he had met and the only girl he actually was attracted to. She was funny,traditional, modern and just soo cute yet sexy.

"How can someone be all those things at once?"he thought

Just then Geet pushed him off in her sleep.

"AGHHHH!"

She woke up with a startle. She fluffed her hair and looked to see him on the ground.

"Tum uth gaye…mujhe kyun nahi uthaya? By the way…why are you on the ground…utho neeche kyun so rahe ho?"

He was so outraged seeing her so relaxed.

"Nahi main to bas waise hi…when there is a comfy bed I still would wanna sleep on the hard ground right?" he said sarcastically.

"Main yahi to keh rahi hoon…don't be grouchy in the morning okay…"

She got up and went to the mirror to check herself out.

He got up pissed.

"Geet you pushed me off the bed" he said very seriously standing behind her in the mirror.

Geet froze and then broke into hysterics.

"Really, wow!!!!"

"Tum has rahi ho???!!!!!" he said turning her towards him.

"No Maan, I'm crying…what does it look like dust-danav?"

He jerked her closer and kissed her neck.

She kissed his cheek and then cupped his face.

"I have to shower, then I have to go make some meetha, waise bhi sab kya sochenge….itni der kamre main hain dono"

"So what….waise bhi aisa kuch khaas is kamre main ho nahi raha…" he said busy playing with her hair.

She smiled then went to the bathroom.

"Itni der Geet?"he said while texting on his phone.

She ran upto him and took his phone out of his hands. Then she sat on his stomach and bent down while moving her hair to one side.

He was shocked.

"Yeh kya kar rahi ho?"

"You! You…..you…you..you..little twirp!!!!! See what you did!!??" she said pointing to the huge mark he left on her neck.

"Ouch!! That's going to take a while to cover up eh?"he said amused.

She go up and started whining…..

"ughmmmmmmmmm……ab main kya karoon babaji??"

He got up, and hugged her from her back.

"Geet please stop acting like a child…I'm sorry sweetheart"

"Don't call me that and move tumse ab mujhe bach ke rehna parega.."she said making baby faces.

He then lifted her wrist and slid a platinum charm bracelet with two charms hanging that had their names engraved on it.

He kissed her wrist.

"OMG!!!!! I love it thank-you"

He nuzzled her neck.

"Now it's your job to keep adding to it, I noticed you wear bracelets more than any other jewelry and you have our wedding ring so….I got this made.

"Awww…you're soo cute….thanks Maan…raat ko kyun nahi diya?"

"Because we were soo involved that I totally forgot"

"It's soo unique thanks"

He smiled and then kissed her hair and left to the bathroom.

Geet got ready and went downstairs as Maan was taking a long time.

"Good morning beta" said dadi hugging her.

"Itni sundar lag rahi hoo" said Sonia kissing her cheek.

Geet took their blessings and went to Balvinder to take hi blessings too.

"Is ghar ki beti aayi hai to ghar roshan ho gaya hai…jeeti raho" he said kissing her forehead.

"Maan kahan hai bete?" asked Sonia.

"Maa wo aa rahe hain.."

"Acha Geet aaj aap kuch meetha banaeyin gi….aap janti hain na?"

"Ji dadi…waise Dev aur Naintara kahaan hain?''

"Woh actually subhah subhah wapas Canada chalay gaye because Dev had an urgent work"

"Oh….."

Maan came downstairs and saw Geet serving everyone. She looked very happy in her vibrant orange sari.

"Aa gaye aap Maan…aayay bethiyay…Geet ne bohat achi kheer banai hai"said Balvindar.

"Good Morning" he said while kissing dadi and his mom.

He noticed Geet was nervous.

"Geet idhar aayiyay…" said Balvindar.

She nervously went over and he gave her two envelopes.

She was confused. She looked at Sonia and she indicated to take them.

"Is se better kheer maine kabhi nahi khayi…ek main aapka shagun and doosre main honeymoon tickets to Paris"

She hugged him.

"Thanks dad!!" she said excitedly.

"Kab ke hain dad?" Maan asked.

"Aaj ke" said Dadi.

"AAJ!? What about work?"

"Maan breakfast ki jiye and then go pack…your dad works too you know…." said Sonia.

Geet came and sat beside him.

He looked at her neck to see no mark.

"WOW…she constructively used her make-up" he smiled at the thought.

He then tried the kheer she made. It was de-lish.

He whispered to her…

"Bohat achi hai…."

"Thanks, have your coffee na.."

He finished the kheer and then took a sip of the coffee.

The coffee was so sweet it tasted bitter.

"ITNI CHEENI?????"

"Awww I thought you liked sweet things right? BTW this was for the amount of time it took me to cover this up…ab chup chap pi lo sab dekh rahe hain"she fake smiled and pointed to the cup ehile sternly saying the last line.

Only he knew how he finished that. But he was Maan and he wasn't going to let this go easily too.

He grabbed her hand and pulled it under the table.

"The classics never fade" he thought smirking.

Geet's eyes widened.

"Geet ap khayiyay na…"said dadi

"Wo dadi actually bhook nahi hai" she said nervously.

"Kyun beta?"

"Who actually maine kha liya tha kitchen main banate waqt" she lied.

Maan was getting a good laugh.

"Next time only one sugar cube…samjhi" he said turning to her.

In the room Geet was packing when Nakul came in.

"Ji?" said Geet

"Woh sahib he aap ke liye breakfast" he put the tray beside her.

She smiled.

"Kahaan hai sahib?"

"Woh jaane se pehle kaam khatam kar rahe the"

"Okay..thanks"smiled Geet and noticed a note beside the food.

"Ab yeh kha lo, ghussa mat khane pe utarna…"

"Sweet dust-danav" smiled Geet at the thought.
