Part 24
Geet gets tried dancing n goes to the counter n asked for a soft drink, some other person comes there n asks for a beer. the waiter there puts both the glasses there n they get exchanged. Geet first takes a sip thinks "this does not taste like coke but continues drinking. . Geet drinks a glass of beer first n likes it so she orders for second saying "give me same drink u gave me before" other waiter standing there smells the glass n gives her other glass of beer n then third n forth......... in her sixth glass she felt uneasy n put the half drank glass on the table n gets up. She holds her head as she felt it very heavy........she put a step forward n was about to fall she controls n stands steadily removes her hands for the head, takes a deep breath n puts a step forward she a again about to fall , she holds the chair beside her n stands, she looks here n there n everything looked blur she closed her eyes tightly n the opened things then looked better but not so clear, she puts a step forward slowly n carefully, she was little stable n she smiles, slowly puts other step n then other....... she walked few steps that she saw someone in her way , she looked up n looks at them confusedly , one of the guys asks Geet " will u dance with me"
Geet smiles n says "ok" n puts her hand forward but takes it back n says "do I know u" puts her right hand forefinger on her chin n thinks after few seconds says "no........., so no, sorry" n smiles, they say "its ok" n move on.
Geet looks here n there n thinks "why am I here????" n puts a confused face n sits." why am I here???? how did I come??????................I don't know.." saying this Geet gets up n starts to move from that place but a group of guys come in her ways. Geet in her drunken mood says "excuse me........move" n pushes a guy.The get anger n looks at Geet seriously n comes near her. Geet watches them quietly, one among them put his right hand on Geet left shoulder, Geet looks at it n looks at the guy in a irritating manner n removes his hand. again he puts his hand on her shoulder Geet again removed it n looks at them seriously, all of them were coming near her but then all of the sudden Maan came in between them n Geet n asks them " is everything alright." before they say something he turns to Geet n asks "is everything alright." Geet points her forfinger toward them and was about to say something that Maan "O" n turns towards them n hugs them n says " thanks a lot to take care of my wife.......n was child's mom." Geet moves her head righ n left n say "Maan....." Mann turns toward geet n says "lets go" n takes her off from that place.
they go near the counter. Maan looks at Geet n Geet with a innocent, cute face looks at Maan.
Maan asks Her "what happen??"
Geet says "nothing"
"nothing......(confused n all of a sudden)" Geet u r drunk???????"(shocked)
Geet immediately moves her head n left quickly for sometime (a second or two) n says "No...No..not at all.....i don't drink."
"Geet (stressing) u r drunk."
"no." says Geet by hitting her right leg on the ground with force.
" (looking her at behavior. in confused way)geet..... (n at her seriously) geet ( relaxs himself n controls his anger, Geet looks at him eagerly n then Maan smiles n holds geet shoulders) Geet u r drunk."
Geet removes his hand forcedly n angrily say 'no......no.......n no......I did not drunk....... I don't drink n I hate people who drink, got it Mr.Maan Singh Khurana...."
"Geet..." says Maan helplessly. "Ok......." saying this he goes to the counter n asks a waiter "what did she have...."
"I think bear...." he asked other waiter n says "S sir bear." but other waiter to whom Geet order first says "but Mam asked for coke......" n then the person with whom the glass exchanged came n scolded the waiter saying I asked for bear n u gave me coke....." looking at all this Maan understood the exchange of glasses thing, He turns Back n does not find Geet...... "Geet..." he whispered n was about ran in search of her. He searched in the disco n does not find her n was about to go out the guards stopped him to pay the bill, Maan runs back n asks for bill, he looked very tensed n very worried. he got the bill he did not even care to see the amount, he just took out his valet n took out as much money as he gets into his hand n puts it on the table n runs, the person at the counter shouts "sir charge but did not care... He runs out n looks here n there but does not find her, he goes to the guard n asks " did not she a girl with red dress, the dress was only till knees."
"sir there r many people who wore red today n almost everyone come here wear dress only till knees."
"Geet, she is fair n looks very beautiful............ how can I explain u????"
mean while other guard comes n say "what happened"
"sir is asking about a red dress girl...."
"the girl who came along with u??"
'yes" says maan.
"she went this way sir."
Maan get little relaxed n says "thank u" n runs that way.......
After some distance maan finds Geet at a distance." geet.........." shouting like this he run even faster to geet but Geet keeps moving. He finally reaches Geet n stops her holding her hand. Geet turns back n smile "Maan u here."
"R u gone Mad........ y did just walk out........ u know how tensed I was about u."
"no............"
Maan get serious....... "shut up n come along with me, its enough geet." saying this he holds her hand n drags her forcibly but Geet pulls her hand n says "Mr. Attitude....."
"Mr.Attitude......."
"yes , plz don't show ur attitude today I'm not ready to accept it."
"what?????"
Geet starts walking in the direction she was.. Maan think "let her go to hell i don't care." saying this he walkes in the opposite direction........."
Maan walks some distances but could not leave Geet alone. he walked back to geet n started to walk along with her beside her. geet was about to fall,Maan holds her n she says " don't touch me........"
Maan leaves her n they both started to walk again
Maan asks "where r we going.?"
"i don't know where r u going but i'm going home...."
"home this way....... but I don't think this way will ever tke us home."
Geet stops n says "why?"
Maan too stops n says " this is not the way we have to go to go our house...."
"stupid,,,,, u should tell me before only no....how should we go."
"this way" saying this he points the opposite side.
"lets go" saying this geet starts moving in the direction Maan pointed. Maan smiles.
Again while walking Geet was about to fall n Maan holds her n stops .Geet removes his hands n says " I told u know don't touch me.......touch me not....."
maan calmly looks at Geet.
Geet says " move one step that side." n Maan does n then Geet takes a step opposite to Maan n says "now there is 2 step difference its not" n when she strats walking again she was about to fall n Maan holds her, Geet looks seriously at maan n then Maan removes his Maan n takes two steps right n says " ok there is 2 steps difference between us."
"correct." smiles Geet n Maan looks at Geet childish behavior.
Geet n Maan walks for some time n both were clam but their calmness spoke a lot. Maan was just observing Geet behavior n Geet ....... the place she passed. Geet suddenly finds n ice cream stall on other side of the road n shouts "ice cream" like a little kid n her face has got a special spark seeing it, She smiles n says "maan I want a ice cream."
"ice cream...... (smiles) lets go geet, u r not a kid."
"I want ice cream." says Geet like the way kids asks their parents again.
"Geet no........"
"plz Maan don't behave like parents, go get a ice cream for me, kanjoos."
Maan stand there quietly n Geet sees Maan for some time n does Maan. All of a sudden Geet sat on a same wall with was about 1-1.5 feet n started hitting her legs on the ground n says ' i want a ice cream........I want a ice cream......." Maan was shocked to the core n says "geet........" n then relaxed n says "ok stop it." but Geet does not " stop it."he shouts but Geet does not . Maan crosses the road n seeing this geet stops. Maan gets a vanilla ice cream for her. she stand up n takes the ice cream n says
"I don't like vanilla.... mean I like it but I love chocolate, I want chocolate."
"Geet I got this, eat it for now."
Geet looks at Maan seriously n Maan also looks at Geet seriously .Geet then again sat down on the wall......Maan shouts "no......I will get it." n run to that stall n gets chocolate ice cream for her n gives it to her angrily n says take it...". Geet eats it happily n Maan seriousness clams down n anger comes down n he smiles seeing the ways geet was eating that chocolate nsays "Geet a KG child eats ice cream better than u." Geet with ice cream in mouth n chocolate on her lips says "what??"
Maan replies "nothing..u eat"
as Geet completes eating with a smile on her face n chocolate on her lips says "thank u."
"u r welcome.......shall we go now or u need any thing."
"as of now I don't need anything........."
"thats great ok then princess lets go."
"lets go."
Maan n geet walks walks more distance n then Maan reminder "O no car." n looks back. Geet asks him what "nothing our car..."
"car."
then a police van comes n stops before Maan n Geet...........
