Part 8

*After three days in Excel*

In the Library , sat two people who had been betrayed or at least they thought so.

Gunjan on one table while Mayank on the other , both in their thought processes.

Gunjan was thinking about Samrat. She thought "How could he? Why did he? For a stupid bet and that Guitarist! He wasn't even involved in any of this than why did he harm him."

Mayank too was thinking but not about Samrat. He was thinking about Nupur. He thought "Why did she lie? She could have at least told me , toh main iss jhooti dosti mein yakin hi nahi karta! Why did she do all this?"

People in the library were not surprised by the silence the two had maintained but at the way the two looked lost in thoughts.

*In a corner*

Nupur sat alone in a corner , upset. She was only thinking about Mayank. His smile , his sarcasm , his cute look and his angry look. She was teary eyes and she couldn't understand as to she never cried for such a thing.

But she knew that she had no control over her feelings and emotions when it came to Mayank.

She couldn't do anything about it now so she went back to what she was thinking.

*In the corridor*

Samrat just stood in a empty , dark classroom. He was terribly angry. Yes , angry not on anyone but on himself for agreeing for that stupid bet. He still couldn't understand why did he do all this? He thought "Why did I do all of this? To prove it to Diya that nothing is impossible for him or was it just out of friendship for Gunjan. Gunjan! She must be feeling so awful at the moment. She must be thinking that how could I or anybody place a bet on a person like her. Oh! God what do I do know?"

All their thoughts were interrupted by a announcement as usual by Principal.

Cut to *the Principal's announcement*

"Principal sir had a HUGE smile on his face as if he had brushed his teeth after ages" thought Uday for a change.

The principal finally spoke after smiling for 10 whole minutes. He said "My dear students Thank you so much for making the Talent Parade so successful. Close-up people are really happy with your efforts (as he said this everyone excluding the four dukhi aatmaa's clapped) but but now we all will have to work hard as your exams are coming close ( the moment he said exams everyone's eyes popped out ) so please start preparing , Good Luck!"

Nupur thought "Pehle hi kya life main kam tensions thi jo BY GOD! Yeh exams bhi tapak parde"

Samrat thought "OH! God! Exams! This time Princi has also warned me to pass. What to do?"

Gunjan thought " Haan! This is better. Finally something good happening ."

Mayank thought " Thank God! Now I can spend more time with my books"

*In class*

All of them were seated thinking not about each other for once , but about the exams coming up. Deodhar sir entered with some papers and said in a demanding tone " These papers are for weak students as now onwards till the exams a bright student will give tutorials to each of them and will write whatever is left in this schedule sheets."

"Samrat Shergill" Deodhar called out and handed him the sheet and told him that his partner will be announced later on. Next was Nupur and she too was told the same thing as Samrat.

Samrat and Nupur were hoping that Gunjan and Mayank were their partners respectively.

Deodhar was now announcing the names.

"Diya your tutor will be Benjamin." All shocked that why Benji only then Deodhar continued " Benji did very well and he's hard working and Miss Diya you need to learn both from him."

"Nupur Bhushan you are new but looking at the way you are , I think Mayank Sharma is the only one who can handle you" Nupur was happy , this is what she wanted.

Deodhar then called Samrat and told him "Mister Samrat Shergill , your tutor will be Miss Gunjan Bhushan as she can and will bring the best out of you."

Samrat quietly went and sat next to her while she shifted in her seat. This act of her slightly amused Samrat and he shifted closer to , whispered in her ear "Tum mujhse kabhi bhi apna peecha nahi churdaa paaogi!" while Gunjan just shifted away more.

*At Bhushan Mansion*

Gunjan and Nupur both were having feelings different for each other. Samrat and Mayank were coming to their place for tutorials. Gunjan was irritated while Nupur was over excited regarding them coming over.

*An hour later*

The door bell rang , Nupur ran to open the door but when she opened the door she was disheartened as she saw Samrat there instead of Mayank but she welcomed him inside.

Samrat was looking here and there for Gunjan but there was no sign of her so he turned to Nupur to ask her about Gunjan's whereabouts , only to find her looking at the door impatiently. He suddenly saw Mayank enter with his books and simultaneously Gunjan entered the whole scenario holding her set of books.

Nupur and Samrat made a face at their new , personal tutors.

Now all of them were sitting on the couch after exchanging their hi-hellos with each other.

Gunjan then said "Okay! Now that we are all seated , lets start our studies respectively."

Mayank nodded and continued "Since you both are weak , we both will give you notes to study and then ask you questions which you both can answer , you know like a team quiz."

Nupur and Samrat just said yes like good obedient students.

Mayank handed them the notes and sat with Gunjan who was reading her book.

*After sometime*

Gunjan and Mayank decided to ask them questions based on the notes.

Mayank asked Nupur a question but unluckily Nupur didn't know the answer of that particular Question only and she looked at Samrat who tried to mouth the answer but Nupur couldn't understand meanwhile Mayank saw all this and said in a very harsh tone "NUPUR! I know ki tum kabhi bhi kuch apne aap nahi kar sakti par please yeh karlo kyunki tumhara tutor main hoon! So please for God's sake don't keep asking people for help.

Mayank's tone made Nupur upset and she went up. She had tears in her eyes while Samrat and Gunjan were shocked but Mayank told them to continue and Gunjan did so but unlike Nupur , Samrat answered the question correctly and she aid "Good!" , he had a small smile on his face. Gunjan saw him smile and immediately said "Wish you were good at heart too!". Samrat looked up at her and his smile wasn't on his face anymore while Mayank who was seated on the couch was also surprised.

Samrat and Mayank said bye to Gunjan and went though Gunjan replied to Mayank only. This made Samrat upset.
