Part 1

'kahan phas gaya! Already I am late for office and this girl, ugh! Dad will kill me if he finds out!' He was lost in his own thoughts when he realized the lift was not moving. He frowned, but then looked at her, who in her nervousness was still holding the stop button.

He cleared his throat to get her attention, which he did.

"Don't mind but, if you are back from your la-la land, than for god's sake, take your hand off the button. It will be easier for the elevator to start!" He said sarcastically. She jerked her hand off the red button, and the lift moved. Silence crept in. It was an awkward one. None of them spoke. He was freaking out. He had always hated silence.

"Umm, so what is your name?" He said extending so as sauu...

"Shilpa" She said not looking at him. He shrugged.

"Only Shilpa?" He asked her trying to look at her face, actually eyes.

"Shilpa Sharma" She said finally looking at him. He smiled.

"I am Armaan," He said, extending his hands towards her. She frowned.

"Only Armaan?" She repeated the question with his name. He chuckled.

"You will know soon" He winked at her. She was taken back, but then, smiled shaking her head.

"Um, My hand is hurting Shilpa!" He said. She frowned and then realized. His hand was still extended at her.

"Oh sorry!" She apologized and put her soft hands in his. A shiver ran down both of their bodies as they touched each other. Both of them ignored.

'Not that bad. Just her anger is heighted. Well, well! No worries. I will make sure you get job in this company Miss. Sharma. You are full pack for my Masti. Oof'this is going to be fun with her around. Muahaha!' Armaan thought as the elevator stopped at floor 5.

'Oh god! Hope I get job here. I really need money. My college and House both are in danger. Please meri madad karna. Kyunki agar mujhe paise nahi mile toh mein aapke liye mandir mein paise kaise donate karungi? Huh? Aap toh meri baat samajh sakte ho na? '

Shilpa was in her thoughts when the elevator stopped. Few people entered in making Armaan squeeze towards her. Armaan moved his hands up settling them on either side of her face avoiding anyone from pushing her. His close intensity made her nervous. She looked down not meeting his gaze. She even felt the warm redness creeping up her neck. He felt it too. Something that he had never felt near any girl. He had been closer to other girls, but she felt something different. Shilpa could smell his cologne.

'Wow! He is got like the best cologne ever. He smells so good. Yummy! WTF'What am I thinking? Ewww. Someone get a grip of me. Well that someone is du-h no other than me. Well, I am experienced. Getting grip of me is not an easy task. It actually takes a lot of time. Though I manage to do it after an hour or so. Well that is not so long. Is it? Eeeks, there I go again. Bounce back honey! What was I thinking? Getting grip of me? No, no. Oh yeah, Armaan. Well, so he is getting me nervous. Who wouldn't go nervous after looking into those blue eyes? Hayye. He is a hunk! Wait, is he single? Looks like. Why would he stand so close to me if he was not? Wait, why is he standing so close to me. The people are already gone. Err.'

A men came in who looked like he was in his twenties.

"Get a room you guys" He remarked trying to hide his laugh. Armaan suddenly came out of his thoughts and turned red at the comment. And Shilpa blushed.

'Gosh! Why was I staring at her like that? God what would she be thinking? But hey! She is beautiful. Never saw that in any girl. Or is it just her? The way she gets angry, the way she smiles, that way she blushes. Wow! Hello dude! You met her like, Minutes ago! And you are already? Ugh! Get a grip men.'

Finally, they reached the 17^th floor. That was half of the building. The company was indeed very big, and Shilpa was impressed. She was excited to work here, that is if she will get accepted. She didn't know why, but somewhere she felt that she is going to get attached to this company. There was something special about it. She could not quite lay her finger on it. It was confusing.

Armaan led her through the hallways. He walked steadily along the corridors winking at some employees. girls! They would blush looking at him. And Shilpa would just frown disgustingly.

'err'looks like another of those disgusting playboys.but hey. He looks quite innocent and sweet. Shilpa! Who are you to state that? You met him like Minutes ago?' She thought.

He finally stopped out of a cabin and looked at Shilpa.

"You sit here, I will go talk to him he will call you in a minute." He said and went in one of the cabins. Shilpa sat in one of the couches out in the waiting area. She sighed. Life is hard.

"Excuse me mam, Are you Miss Sharma?" a woman in blue asked her. Shilpa looked up from the magazine she was reading.

"Yeah!" She said.

"Sir is calling you inside mam. This way." She led her to the cabin next to where Armaan went in.

Shilpa was accepted in just 4-5 questions. Despite her confusion, she was happy!

"Uh, Mr. Shawn, if dad calls, tell him, I am going off. I will join tomorrow. And I have checked the details." Armaan suddenly barged inside shocking Shilpa.

"Alright Armaan!" Mr. Shawn replied.

"Oh, hey Shilpa!" Armaan wished as if he just noticed her.

"Hey, Armaan!" She said smiling.

"So did you get the job?" He asked her smiling back.

"Yeah! Um, joining tomorrow." She said

"Uh, sorry to interrupt kids, but, I have to go, why don't you guys go to the Caf and have coffee? Armaan, why don't you explain her the details of the project to her?" Mr. Shawn interrupted them.

"What Mr. Shawn! I am not going to work anymore. I am tired. I stayed up all night for this project. But I don't mind a coffee. After all I owe her one. Right?" He grinned at her. She smiled back nodding.

"Right then, lets go!" He said pulling her with him holding her wrist, while she was still not back to the earth.
