Its 20^th, the day of the conference and Sid is getting out of the cab, he is in a blue suit and with his laptop case in his hand he heads to the reception of Sanjeevani hospital.

Sid : Excuse me, I am here for the annual med-confrence do u know where it is ?

Lady: yes I do 'take the lift from here to 6^th floor once u r there, it should be the 1^st room on the left'

Sid: thanku J

Sid glances around this place hasn't changed much '.oh! errrrrrrrr y am I getting carried away I am here for the CONFRENCE JUST AND ONLY THAT nothing else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Another 6hrs and then I am done with this city

Sid makes his way to the conference hall, he conference starts shortly, Sid gives a very impressive presentation and at the end of the conference loads of people congratulate him'

I think I should get out of the place ASAP staying here is not a good idea Sid thinks in his head. As he was about to step out of the hall, someone taps his shoulders from the back. He turns around to look and finds Dr Shashank.

Sid : Dr Shashank ! ape

Shanky: Sid! Kaise ho'bahut age nikal gaye inn salo mie ..badhi kushi huyi yeh dekh kke..

Sid: ji Thanku sir..ap kaise ho ? aur baki sab kaise hai ?

Shanky : baki sab ?

A man comes in to interrupt their conversation.

Man: Sorry docs..Can I please borrow Dr Modi..

Dr Shashank: Sure( with little bit of a disappointment )

Man to Sid : Dr Modi ur flight is scheduled to leave in next 2hrs it would be better if u get going otherwise u will miss ur flight.Your cab's waiting outside.

Sid ( thinks : hmm its betta 2 leave I bumped into Dr Shashank and it won't be long before others find me tooo so I betta leave ): okay fine give me a second I will be back

Sid to Dr Shashank : Sorry Sir, I am afraid I wil have to leave now got a flight to catch. It was nice meeting you .

Dr Shashank: hmm would u not like to meet other ?

Sid : others hmm ?

Runs his hand through his hair 'nooo I don't have time got to go byeee

He then shakes hand with Dr Shashank

Dr Shashank : Bye

Sid makes his way to airport

He breathes a sigh of relief..peww!

So many years I have stayed away, I just wanna get back home '.

That evening at Gupta residence. Shashank and Ridhimma are having a conversation

S: how was ur day beta ?

R: it was gd dad nothing much its feels awesome to to work with kids

S: hhmmmm Ridhima beta hmm I met Sid today

R: really dad when , even I ran into him yesterday at airport but he was gone even before I could chase him. Seemed like he still doesn't want to see me or speak to me..

S: oo!

R: how did u meet him ?

S: he was at sanjeevani for a conference..he is not that old chap any more..he has matured up not that he never was but now he has looks like a good mature man, with spectacles. He is a specialised paediatrician now ..apparently he works for Great Olman's stree hospital.He also gave an awesome presentation

R: he indeed has progressed a lot'where is he now did u speak 2 him ?

S: I did speak 2 him for few seconds, he had a flight to catch so he left early

Rids thinks Sidddd wished we had things right between us.I am happy for you where

Voh kabhi mujse milna nahi chahta

S: kya soch rehi ho ?

R kuch nahi bus yu hiii

Hhhmm paa mie soch rehi thi ki main Mumbai se hat kar kahi aur kam karu..bus thoda sa change bhi ho jayega'

S: jaise tumhari marzi ..do have any place in your mind ?

R: Shimla! Waha par ek hospital mie paediatrician ki vacancy hai kyu na main vaha apply karu 'it's a pretty place aur muje iss jagah se break bhi mil jayegi..

S: thik hai go for it

After this Ridhima goes into her bedroom, she opens her bedside cabinet and finds a ring in there, it was sid's ring she holds it in her hand and thinks cheh saal beeth chuke hai patha nahi Sid muje maf bhi kiya hoga ya nahi, shayad nahi isi vajase mujse mile bagair chala gaya'usss din ke bade maine bhi usse doond ne ki koshsis kiii par Su se patha chala ki voh meir shakal bhi nahi dekhna chahta.humara divorce bhi ho chukka hai..lekin..ummm papa ne bataya ki voh aaj bahut famous doc hai..sid badal gaya hai voh purana sid nahi hai, even jab mai airport mie mili thi thoo bhi bahut handsome lag raha tha..baal gel kare huve thee'abe thoo glasses bhi pehtha hai..apne suit mie bahut professional bhi lag reha tha..hmm kya sid ki life mie aaj koyi hai , kya usne fir se shadi ki .hmmm.. caught in her thoughts rids finally drifts away to sleep.

Ps: guies these updates might not be up2 ur expectations but at some point I am hoping to get it better so lease bare with me

Rids applies for the post and makes it .She soon joins the hospital.

Meanwhile, Sid is back in London..He gets a call from his childhood friend Dr Sanjeev Gill, who is also settled in London.He is the only guy with whom sid spends any time, he barely has any social life as he likes to get caught up in work..

Sanjeev: been a while since we spoke ..how are u ?

Sid: I am fine..sorry buddy just been a bit busy lately..how are u ?

Sanjeev : aur suna how was India ?

Sid : I was good

Sanjeev:sirf gd ?.. listen what time do u finish 2day ?

Sid :I am on an early so should finish around 3

Sanjeev: are you free or r u on calls ?

Sid: nah man nothing such I am free

Sanjeev: that's good..do one thing come around mine in the evening, even Sapna was enquiring to me about u the other day..

Sid : okie dokes..wil come around ur s.then cya 2nite

Sanjeev: okay cya biii

As soon as he replaces the receiver he gets call on his mobile this time its his mum,

Sid;Mum! App kaisi ho ?

Mum: main thik hu beta > how are you?

Sid : I am good too

Mum : when are you coming India

Sid: not soon

Mum : kab thake tum esse

Sid cuts her off

And says

Pata nahi kab thak but hmm kuch nahi

Mum: listen Rahul tumse milna chahta hai

Sid :kya ..maa usko phone doo

Rahul : hello Dad !how are u ?

Sid : I am gd how are u ? heard u wanted 2 meet me

Rahul : yess:

Sid: well ! son ur dad is pretty busy here so he can't make it I am afraid

Rahul: No u have to come

Sid : try to understand beta

Rahul: noo noo u have to come

Rahul gets upset and gives the phone to his grandma

Sid : mum usko samjavo naa

Mum : bacha hai na nahi samjega..vaise bhi tumhe aye huve waqt ho chukka hai…please come

Sid : I will see

Mum : okay beta u tc

Sid : sure mum… u 2 ..tc ..love u

Mum: love u 2

Sid bi

Mum: biibiii

Sid hangs up the phone and thinks for a moment may be I should visit them its been a while…Sid heads out of his cabin for his break , he is on his way 2 the cafeteria 2 get some food for himself when Neeta joins in( btw neeta is another doctor but she works in a different department, she has a strong crush on him ad is always trying to persuade him, she knows everything about his past throughs Sanjeev) …

Neeta: Hey Sidd! How are u ?

Sid: I am gd how are u?

Neeta: I am gd 2 ..how was Mumbai ?

Sid : it was pretty gd ( he has pretty cold expressions on his face)

They grab their food and sid walks towards the stairs that lead to his cabin

When neeta stops him

N: where are u off 2

Sid: back to mi cabin, got some work to do

N: man u always have something 2 do, enjoy life r…come on chill a bit

Sid gives her really cold expressions

S: I really have stuff 2 do

N: fine ! even I have something important to say

Sid( twitches his eybrows ) what ?

N: dad wants 2 meet u

S: u dad?

N : no my neighbours dad. Obviously mi dad

S: y what have I done

N: u have done the crime of stealing my heart

S: oo! Ermm neeta look I like u as a good friends and that's pretty much it

N: ( with a serious face) sid listen u need to move on from ur past , u should marry again set urself a life

S: neeta I don't live in my past, I am committed to my work and there is no place 4 my family anymore

N: sid I know u don't believe in love, but I can teach u to love again

S: neeta listen huney there are many other men out there who will be more caring than I am , they will give u wat u want I just don't have the time plus I have rahul to look after

N: sid I assure u that rahul will be like mi son I will always love him

S: neeta I have said what I wanted 2 , my decision is made and there is no go back

N: fine! Dr Sidhant Modhi mai bhi dekhti hu kit tum kaise nahi mante

S: go ahead lol

Saying his walks up the stairs into his cabin,dude this girl is mad he thinks in his mind..

Sid finishes his shift and drives off to Sanjeev's

Sid: hey buddy!

Sanjeev: so finally u are here

Sid: aha very much how are u ?

Sanjeev : good man how are u?

Sid : gdd gdd

Sanjeev : gd sure ?

Sid : u know me

Sanjeev's wife Sapna enters

Sapna: hey sid how are u ?

Sid: I am gd ..How are u?
