Part # 3

One night'..its 9 o'clock'.

Rudhir was working on his laptop'.while Alpana was working on sum designs'.[she is an interior designer]''but suddenly Alpana gets up from the bed'.and starts to look for something'.in the cupboard!! She had been searching for 10 minutes'..at first Rudhir didn't ask'..coz he didn't want to 'interfere''.and also Alpana didn't tell him'.for the same reason!! But then'.finally Rudhir speaks up'.

Rudhir: Kya dhund rahi ho??

Alpana: Oh'.sorry!! Am I distracting u??

Rudhir: Agar aisa hota'.to dus minute pehle hi bata deta'.maine to bas janne ke liye puchha'.if I can be of sum help!!

Alpana: Nahi'.actually I think I have run out of these papers'..(she indicates towards the ones on the bed'.that she had been using)

Rudhir: Ohh' but agar papers khatam ho gaye hai'.then wat r u searching??

Alpana: Just trying my luck'.baba!!

Rudhir: Arre rehne do na'..kal jaake papers kharid lena'.phir kaam pura kar dena'.

Alpana: Kal hi clients ko ye designs submit karne hai'.

Rudhir: (raises his eye-brows) Aur tum'.aaj raat ko'.last moment pe ye sab kaam khatam kar rahi ho??

Alpana: Haan'.main wo'.bhul gayi thi'.iss client ke bare me'.(she states cutely'.as she looks down feeling embarrassed at her carelessness)

Rudhir: Ye papers milte kahan hai??

Alpana: Wo'.paas wali market me mil jayegi!!

Rudhir: (closes his laptop) Okay then'.tum mere saath chalo'..we'll get them!!

Alpana: Tum kyun takleef'.(she starts to say)

Rudhir: Itni raat ko akele jaana chahti ho?? If yes'.then jaa sakti ho'..I wont stop u'.

Alpana just looks down'.she at least doesn't want to go to that market'.all alone at night!! But she feels bad that she has to trouble him and take his help!!

Rudhir: Arre tum ruki kyun ho?? Chalo na'..warna market bandh ho jayega Alpu!!

As he calls her Alpu again''she slowly begins to walk'..but looking down still!! And soon they get the papers''but all the way Alpana was feeling bad'.he had to do sumthing for her''he was working on something very important'..but he had to stop that becoz of her!! Becoz of her he had to go thru an 'adjustment'!!!

Here'.not even once'.Rudhir had thought of something like that''when he saw her tensed and as she searched for those papers''with those wrinkles on the forehead'..he thought she wud look better without them!! To be honest'..she looked cute even like that'..still he cudnt let her be tensed'.just becoz she was looking cute!!! So he had helped her out'..not really realizing the fact that'.he was 'adjusting' with his work'.becoz of her!!!

In the morning''Alpana wakes up early'..'..as she had the meeting at 9 a.m''.but Rudhir was still asleep'..firstly becoz he had to be at office'..by 12''and also becoz'..he had to work till late at night!!! Alpana looks at his sleeping self'. He was clutching another pillow with his hand'.while being in the centre of the bed'.perhaps that's how he used to sleep when he was alone. And she just cant help smiling'.as she finds his hair completely ruffled'..over his forehead'.almost covering the eyes'.his eyes'.which had this strange power of attraction''.so much that even as they r closed'..Alpana had an urge to look into them!!!

However she dismisses these thoughts'..at the back of her mind'..and quickly prepares the breakfast and coffee for BOTH of them!! She actually doesn't do it always'..but today'.she just didn't want to trouble him more!!

As Rudhir wakes up'..at 10 a.m''he realizes Alpana was not at home'..then he remembers her saying that she had an early meeting today!! However'.after freshening up'.he finds the breakfast ready'.and also the coffee!! He found a note saying'

"I am sorry'..meri wajah se tumhare kaam me deri ho gayi'..main ainda se dhyan me rakhungi'..ki meri wajah se tumhe kabhi koi adjustment naa karna pade'..pls have the breakfast''main utna bhi bura khana nahi banati'."

After reading the note'.Rudhir realizes he actually adjusted his work'..to help her out!! But then he never really took that as an adjustment'.he did it on his own'..just becoz he wanted to!!

"She shud not be feeling bad'..she shud not be apologising to me like this'..I shud talk to her abt this'..after all why shud she be embarrassed?? Cant I do this much FOR HER??"

Later on'.Rudhir talked to Alpana'.so that she doesn't feel bad anymore''and it was a pleasure for him to watch her smile'.as he said those words to her!! Donno why'..he cudnt afford to do without that smile!!

Here she was happy that he didn't take it that way'..she was happy he didn't take her as a careless useless girl''.it was gud to see him so sweet and understanding'..donno why'.but it mattered to her!!

Rudhir and Alpana has returned from a party''..it was an official one for Rudhir'.and he had wished to take her along'..after all they were 'husband-wife''..As Alpana didn't ahv any plans or work'.she had accompanied him!! But on the way back'.it was heavy rain-shower''they got soaked in water'.just to reach the car'..however they managed to reach home!! And Alpana was already sneezing!!

Rudhir: Tum pls jaldi change kar lo Alpana'.tum to abhi se chheenkh rahi ho!!

Alpana: Don't worry'.I'll be f9'.(and she sneezes again)'.actually main baarish me bheegti nahi'..just not used to it!!

After she cums out changing'.Rudhir was holding a cup of tea for her!!

Rudhir: Tum jaldi se isse pee lo'and then just get to bed!! Arre'.ye kya? Dry ur hair first'.

Alpana: Arre'.kuch nahi hota isse'.

Rudhir: Tumse kuch puchha kya maine?? Nahi na'.jitna kaha bas utna karo'.I do not like arguments samjhi?

This was the first tym he had talked to her so strictly and authoritatively'.he actually looked worried'..FOR HER!! So Alpana didn't argue anymore'.she dried her hair''quietly had the tea'.and settled herself on the bed'..while he covered her wid a blanket!!

After a while he felt she was asleep'.so he settled himself beside her!! But after sometime'..she started feeling cold'.and that's when their hands touched'.so she quickly grabbed it and took it towards her face!!

Here Rudhir's hands touched her face for the first tym'.and quite unmindfully his fingers caressed her cheeks while his eyes were set on her!! Her partially dried hair strands were falling on her face'.and she looked elegant in that dim light''it was as if he cudnt listen to his mind anymore'.and he took his other hand up to her face'.to tug the hair strands behind her ear!! As he did that'..she moved in her sleep'.a lil closer to 'her' source of warmth!! Now she was sleeping on his arms'.and here Rudhir gulped hard feeling her so close to himself''.he had this strange urge to keep adoring the beauty in front of him'..but finally he heard a voice from his mind''"This was not right"'..and he quickly closed his eyes tightly'.as if trying to sink in the command of his mind'.and then he lied straight'..looking up at the ceiling!! He just didn't want to think anymore'.he feared where his thoughts cud take him!!

In the morning'..Alpana woke up to find Rudhir getting ready for the office'. she felt much better'...perhaps she was just having a cold'.

Rudhir: So u r up'..aaj tumhe office jaana hai kya?? Can u take leave??

Alpana: Hmm'.I'll take leave'.

Rudhir: Gud'.tumhara abhi kahin jaana sahi bhi nahi hoga'.warna bukhaar chad jayega'.take rest ok?? And mujhe thoda kaam hai'.so I really need to go'.jaldi ane ki koshish karunga'.bye.

And he leaves wid a smile'..while she keeps staring at the way he left'..she then looked at her hands'.and she cud still feel his touch'.she seemed a bit confused abt everything''his behaviour was nothing unusual''was she dreaming abt sleeping in his arms?? Well'.it didn't feel like a mere dream'..however she cleared her mind from these thoughts'.and left the bed.

Here Rudhir'.sits in his car'.and heaves a sigh'..he had always been a particular kind of person'..doesnt accept changes that soon'..so he tried his best'.to keep everything the way it was'..those momentary feelings must not affect his life'..anyhow!!!

In the evening'..Rudhir gets back home'..to find Alpana lying on bed only!! She had her eyes closed'.so he very cautiously checked her forehead. At this'.she opened her eyes'..but he seemed tensed.

Rudhir: Tumhe to bukhaar aa gaya hai!!

Alpana: Tum to bahut jaldi aa gaye!!

Rudhir: Kyunki mujhe lag hi raha tha'.tumhe bukhaar ayega'.(noticing sumthing) One sec''tumhare baal gile kyun hai??

Alpana: (touching her hair) Ohh'.nahane ke baad thik se dry nahi kiya hoga'..haath dard kar raha tha'.to main chup chap aa kar so gayi'..

Rudhir: What?? Yaha main kal se tumhe keh raha hu'.take care of urself'.kahin fever na aa jaye'.aur tum gile baal lekar so gayi?? (he slaps his forehead) Gosh'.let me call the doctor now'.

Alpana: Doctor ki kya zarurat hai??

Rudhir: Then wat do u expect?? Main tumhe medicines prescribe karunga?? (she starts to say sumthing) Don't open ur mouth'.u get that?? (murmurs imitating her) Chup chap aa kar so gayi'..huh!!

Now the doctor is gone'..and Rudhir has got the medicines for her!!

Rudhir: C'mon take them'.

Alpana: (takes them) I'm sorry!!

Rudhir: (he was keeping the glass on the side table'.and so turns back being surprised) Sorry?? Par kyun??

Alpana: Meri wajah se phir se tumhe takleef ho rahi hai'..ye sab karna par raha hai'.ghar me koi bimaar ho to bekaar me jhanjhat ho jati hai na??

Rudhir: Did I say anything to u??

Alpana: No'.but that's becoz u r very sweet'.

Rudhir: And also'.I'm a human'.Alpu I knw'.hamare bich ek deal hai'.ki hum ek dusre ke raste me nahi ayenge'.we'll mind our own business'.lekin iska ye matlab bilkul nahi hai'.ki main tumhe bimaar dekhu'.par kuch na karu'.thinking that's not my business!! Because that IS my business'..manta hu'.hamara ek dusre pe koi haq nahi hai'.aur na hi koi zimmedari ki zanjir hai'..but I CAN do this much for you'..and I WILL do that ok?? Mujhe bilkul bhi dikkat nahi ho rahi hai ye sab karte hue'.in fact dekha jaye'to tum bimaar isliye ho kyunki tum kal mere saath MERI party me gayi thi'so I shud be aplogizing to u'.and I AM sorry Alpu!!

She smiles as he feels genuinely sorry for her'.and worries for her'..and at the same tym she hears him calling her 'Alpu''.this instantly brought a smile to her lips'..coz by now she had realized he wud call her by this name'naturally'.perhaps he had never realized it himself!!!

Alpana: Don't say that ok?? And yeah''I wont say such 'inhuman' things again'.promise!! (she says cutely)

Rudhir: (smiles) Good for u'.

A few months pass by'.and Rudhir-Alpana's life have becum a lot easier for them'..they r no strangers now'.nor do they act like that'.in fact they r frndly'very frndly'.and always ready to help the other!! Quite unknown to themselves'.they wud help each other on their own and wud be satisfied wid the smile of the other!! Again the best part for them was'..they were still not bound by each other'.they were still free'.even after marriage'.and life didn't seem that bad!! They had accepted each other's existence in life'.eventually'..They had gone thru sum 'adjustments''..or 'changes''..but it was so natural that they never really realized it.

So I am here wid the 3rd part....I really donno how was that....its not becoz I havnt read the part.....in fact I did it several tyms....yet donno why....I feel its not gonna be liked....😆😆...ab sab soch rahe honge....ye ladki kya kya sochti hai....well...in that case yes....main pagal ho rahi hu....so bear wid me....😆

However this part doesnt hav sumthing much....guess jis tarah ki nok jhok aap log dekhna chahte ho (perhaps) wo uss tarah se nahi ayega....yet I hope jo maine socha hai....that wud be liked later on....but abhi ke liye this is it.....😆....ho sake to digest karo....na ho sake to bhi manage karo....😆😆
