Right since i've started uni and all...i got loads of things going on so the FF will be on haitus for a little while until I get free time to update it again!!! I have some chappies already written, but it isn't enough 😕 therefore i will go back to writing oneshots until Christmas time when i've got time to write more chappies and update the FF again!😃
Thus today this will be the last chappie for now and i will be posting my oneshot in the Geet forum, and hopefully it will last you for another two weeks!!! I have got a report to write up thats due in two weeks and an assignment to start up since its 3,000 words max!!!😕😕😕

Chapter 8
As Pinky and Paro got into the house and Geet payed the taxi driver, Mano saab's car stopped on the other side of the road and Geet's polite smile turned upside down and fear entered her expression as she took a few steps back before twirling round to go into her front garden only to see Papu, a goon of Mano's, in front of her and she stopped, gulping quickly. She then put on a brave front despite shaking in fear inside, "Papu sir, how...nice to see you today. I thought Mr. Nazargar, wasn't seeing me till this Friday. It's only Monday, so what's the special occasion?" Her hands were twisting with each other because she was scared and looking over Papu's shoulder, wanting to go inside, however she could see a net curtain twitch in the living room window and she bit her lip slightly.
Papu looked at her, looking her up and down took a deep breath, while his hands twitch and his eyes turned lecherous with intent. Seeing this, Geet couldn't hide the shiver of disgust and a cold sweat went through her, from her head to all the way down to her pink painted toes. Papu, thinking it was the opposite, stepped closer, but instead the car that Mano saab sat in honked loudly twice rapidly, and Papu's face turned into a mixture of fear and anger before stepping back and sighing heavily, but said quietly, "One day, my darling angel, I'll have you!" And Geet looked away in anger, not wanting to say anything that could harm her situation even more.
Papu then turned serious and with slight anger shown he said, "Have you thought about Maan Saab's alternative offer, instead of struggling to pay the amount of 10,000 rupees??" Geet looked up in shock, "10,000 rupees? I only borrowed 5,000 rupees, how did it come to 10,000 rupees?" Papu's polite, yet lecherous smile into a smug smirk, and he looked over to the car and said, "Well you did took the money 2 and a half years ago and what with the interest and you keeping extending the deadline to pay back the amount, it just grows every day, darling angel," doing another slow look up and down Geet's body, pausing in certain areas, and Geet covered her chest by crossing her arms, and took a couple of steps back.
"I'm already paying the next amount by this Friday! I just need these next three days for the full amount and give it back to him! I'm getting paid a higher salary come next week so Mr Nazargar will get his money quicker. Please tell him not to increase the amount anymore!" looking slightly worried. Papu who though he was God's gift to women, his thoughts turned to evil intent and he took a few steps forward and Geet frowned heavily in disgust because the cologne he was wearing was just suffocating. She knew what he was thinking, and barely managed NOT to roll her eyes and just said, "You're not getting that from me, and anyway you're ugly as anything and if Mr Nazargar found out what you intend to do with me, he'll torture you and then kill you!"
Geet may not like what she had said but at least Papu had backed off, fear clearly written in his face and making nervous looks at the black car that had gotten closer. Papu was an ugly chap, like Geet said, he was only a couple of inches taller than Geet, a face that was quite scarred from his involvement with certain "dealings", his hair was greasy and slicked back, which was receding anyway, a nose broken at least 4 times and not fixed properly because it had a bump in it, teeth that were yellowed from years of smoking and some missing from being punched so many times. He had an untidy and bushy beard and moustache that was peppered with grey hairs, and going further down he had a double chin and a fat neck, yet he had broad shoulders and muscles arms, but had a large stomach...probably from eating too many samosas, gol guppa and other such stuff from dhabbas along the road.
Geet looked away and towards her home, having already decided to go to the police in the morning, after her interaction with Pappu, but if Mano Saab had his goons following her, then she would have to think of a plan of avoiding them and getting to the police station as quickly as she could! She looked back at Papu and said, "If that is all, I have to go in now. I've got to feed my family," and walked around Papu, only for him step in front of her, blocking her way. She sighed in frustration and said to him, not looking at him, "I will come on Friday and pay the next amount. I will also tell Mr Nazargar my decision about the alternative option he suggested. Will you let me go now?" Papu licked his lips, and took one up and down look of Geet before moving aside, and walking back to Mano Saab's car and climbing in the front passenger seat.
Geet got in the front door, shut it behind her and leant against it. She closed her eyes and sighed heavily, "this day couldn't get any worse" she thought and then opened her eyes and turned to face Pinky and Adi. She bit her bottom lip, before turning to go to the bedroom and said to them, while avoiding their worried looks, "I'm going to get changed, play with Paro for a bit before going to sleep. I need to lie down for a while," then rushed off to her's and Paro's room, a plan already forming for tomorrow to get to the police.
