As Anjili entered, she saw her father going towards the stage. Beside the podium, Umar Bhai was standing.She smiled at him, which he returned wholeheartedly.Standing at the entrance, she could see the faces of Dr. Keerti and two of her friends, this she was expecting. She felt her lips curling up, automatically, into a huge smile. All of them were looking a Dr. Shashank. Keerti looked up as she entered and, smiling broadly, made a space between herself and Niki for her to sit. Walking towards the sofa, she saw that Niki's appearance had changed a lot over these years:she no longer was in her bubly sleeveless kurti and knickers,but she resembled Anji in clothing(she wore a maroon V-necked shirt and black pants) except for the specs she now wore.

"silly Anji" she thought as she sat between Keerti and Niki "tujhe kya laga? Niki abhi bhi tujhe waise hi kapro mein milegi!!! tu bhi na"

As she sat beside her,Abhi and Niki looked up for the first time towards her.Both had the same expressions-which she felt taking over her face,despite the fact that she had known that she would cum face to face with her dear friends after 6 long years- plastered in their faces.

How close Abhi had cum to them in their last days of internship!!!Only bocoz of Niki. When he had first entered Sanjeevani, all of them hated him.But now, she considered him as dear as her other friends.At first all of them had thought that he wouldn't be right for Niki,but now she felt that no one could have luved Niki more than Abhi.

Now, feeling the sudden jolt of delight at seeing her friends, she realized that their friendship had not changed a bit in the past 6 years. The thought made her feel elated! The bond that they shared was so strong that time and distances could not affect it.She sat between Keerti and Niki (all of them were smiling hugely)and felt Niki's hand grabbing hers.

NIKI-Welcum back😊

Both sat very close,clutching each others hands,reminiscing old times.Keerti and Abhi smiled.Looking around, she saw all the interns seated at their designated seats.She smiled.

Shashank had by now reached the podium and called for attention.Everyone looked towards hi direction.

SHASH-Attention plzzz everyone,thank you.

Everyone stood up.

This was it for Niki too,and she jumped up from her seat.Everyone clapped as Anjili and Niki turned backwards slowly,stunned.There,infront of their very eyes,were two of their very best friends:Rahul and Muskaan.

Anjili and Niki were struck in the same situation.They looked at each other, dumbstruck,and saw that their mouths were hanging open.. Both felt their eyes water up as the memories of their internship days flowed through their minds-cake fight,Anji-Atul-Ridzy-Rahul-Muskaan fighting over the chocolates Armaan had sent Ridz,their memories from Shashank-Padma's wedding, Keeri-Shubhankar's wedding, all of them treating patients together, medical camps,their gate crashing at sumones's wedding.And then, the moment that had seperated them from each other- the terrorist aattack. thier best freinds (and sister incase of Anji) lying lifeless over the floor.

Anji and Niki both felt tears trickling down their eyes. Both could see that Rahul and Muskaan were going through the same turmoil that was going on inside Anji and Niki.Four stated at each other, speechless, tears flowing from their now-red-eyes and smiling at the same time.

NURSING STATION

The interns were gathered around the reception desk, waiting for Dr.Rai.
